Well, folks, it's a post office. Your average, everyday post office. I had the supreme misfortune of coming here to pick up a package in the thick of the holiday season. Traffic in this area is already crappy, but during this time of year, it hits a whole new level of stressful. The parking lot is clearly not large enough to handle the amount of people frequenting this place. When I was trying to leave, there were at least four people vying for my spot. Naturally, there was quite the line when I walked in, but it moved somewhat quickly. I only had to wait for approximately 20 minutes and they had a separate employee handling the customers who were there for pickup. My advice: do yourself a solid and order from Amazon. read more

Terrible experience here every single time. The hours of operation are posted but they make it up as they go. There's no courtesy or kindness from the employees and they are very quick to dismiss you. The sad part is... this review won't even matter, nothing will ever change here. read more

Nicest staff of any PO I've used on a regular basis within 100 miles. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Generally they have 2 counterpersons and move another upfront as needed. Not only do they keep the line moving but they also make u feel like a valued customer when they call you forward and greet you. The facility is clean and nicely maintained. It's a post office. The lines will exist. The people in those lines will be pains. The clerks will be trying their best to work through the line. I actually like this post office's workers, they're so funny to unnecessarily angry customers. They really do get too much shit from the public. On July 10 Sat the line is ridiculous, but lots of talking and laughing in the back 2 lines open and its miserable be prepared to spend a few hours in here not sure which is worse this place or mva or social security. Went to pick up a package after a failed delivery, and the worker relentlessly searched for my package until it was located. In the meantime, there was only one other worker available to help customers, and she was also friendly and quite efficient. One of the best experiences I've had at a post office. read more

I needed a stamp and made a quick trip to this location. I try to avoid the DC post offices since parking can be a hassle. If I am walking to Union Station, there is a small post office downstairs. The employees were nice. read more

Absolutely horrible . I have been trying to locate a package that should have been delivered 2 weeks ago. Every time I call the post office they say they can see my order in the system but don't know where it is . I've called dozens of times , the line is always busy , or when you get through to someone you get put on hold . Then when you finally speak to someone they act like they have no clue and always say let me take your name and number and I'll call you right back . BUT... they never call back . When pulling up my tracking number the site tells me my package is available for pick up at the post office , but I paid for priority mail and for it to be shipped to my house. Delivery was never attempted and they have no note nor an explanation why my package wasn't delivered . I then try to confirm I can pick up my package and they tell me they can't locate it .... 3 days ago I check on my tracking number and it offers me the option to redeliver the item and set up the location and day I would like it delivered . Well that day has passed and NOTHING. Site tells me it was confirmed and scheduled to be delivered , yet here we are days later and still no package !!! Now today I've called over a dozen times and not able to get through . Last I was told to make a claim and since my package was insured I can go that route . What's the deal?!?! All I want is my package to be delivered !!, one day it can't be located , the next it's found and set up for redelivery but never sent . Customer service is horrible !!!!!!!! Today is July 2nd 2019 and this marks 30 days still NO mail service. No junk mail, no bills not a single piece of mail. There is a security camera and there has not been a postal carrier sighting in well over 30 days(since I have been watching. I even sent mail from another location and it never arrived. I hate having to go inside. Service is extremely slow. I've had mail not delivered; packages opened; damaged mail. Today I had to pick up a parcel that I never even received a post office notification from but happened to look on the site where I placed my order and noticed a delivery attempt was made. ANY OTHER TIME, parcels have been at my door (I'm in an apartment). So I went online and scheduled the parcel to be picked up at the post office. I get there about 4:20 and take my place in the line that was at the door to the counter inside. About 10 mins goes by and it's my turn. Dee, the postal counter employee says anyone dropping off or picking up can come up here. Two people dashed in front on me. I said wait, I'm next in line and just picking up. Dee says oh I'll take them and then you. W.T.F.? THESE TWO WERE PICKING UP UP PARCELS AS WELL. So she says to me she needs my driver's license which I produced along with the redelivery confirmation and tracking number. She asked me 3 more times for it and it was right in front of her. She THEN ignores me, goes to the back to get the others parcels and gives it to them, asks me again for my info. Has the other two people sign out, then takes 2 more people with an easy request and THEN goes to get my parcel and takes her sweet time walking back. I don't know ow this lady from Adam. Then gives it to me, has a fake smile and says have a nice day. W.T.F. This place is slower than a damn sloth and rude. read more

This is the second month that I had to contact my SECU Credit Union because I never received my bill and I didn't want to pay late charges. I was told that my bills were mailed and that I should contact my local post office. I know we have a new carrier and you never know when he will deliver. Other neighbors are having the same problem with delivery and I will have them file a complaint now that I know it can be done on the internet. Worst experience with anything ever being delivered. Over 3 years, every single time USPS (GB office) was supposed to deliver something, they never do. Its always an excuse or its never a day thats actually scheduled. I've always had to go pick it up myself. No one ever answers the phone number to the office and customer service is non-existent to say the least. The present disaster involves the ashes of our pet we lost a few weeks ago. I knew right away this was going to be another episode. Once again, you email me saying you'll deliver his remains on the 3rd. I take off work so im here ALL DAY and NOTHING. This post office is horrible! I always have to park in the other parking lot WITH my baby and pretty much hop the brick wall. I think it's because the workers take up the parking spaces! Then customer service is super slow! I am waiting eternity to mail a package! It's horrible! Going to the post office in Severn from now on. They are way more welcoming and seem to enjoy their jobs! Worst ever. Of all the cities I've live in and postal carriers I have known, this office and my current carrier are the WORST. IF I receive mail, it's after 5pm, but most days my mail just isn't delivered. Conplained on the USPS website, the manager sent me an email from a noreply address with an incorrect phone number. When you call the main line and ask no one answers or you get a voice mail and calls are never returned. I never thought I'd be lodging a complaint about my local post office. However, the list a package of mine and I'm unable to get them to do anything about it. After my brief encounter, the said the package was left in your mailbox. Well I had people at my house all day long. No packages were delivered. So sick of the carriers to lazy to deliver a FEDEX Package again have to go to the post office cause our carrier is LAZY and only feels their job is to fill the box and not get their ass out of the truck to deliver packages to your door. Terrible experience. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. My wife and I went in on a Saturday to update her passport (recently married) and the website said they are open for passport services on Saturday, and nothing about making an appointment. When we get through the line, the lady asked us if we had an appointment and proceeded to just look at us when we said no, we didn't know we had to make one. She then said she would see if they could squeeze us in, but highly doubted it in a very disapproving tone. When she came back she mumbled something about the appointment and said something about another location and quickly called for the next customer. When we asked her what she said, she wouldn't even look at us and mumbled something before calling for the next customer again. We were able to find another location (not USPS!) that had passport services. We definitely won't be returning to this post office. This visit continues the lackluster reputation of the USPS after they lost a bunch of our RSVPs for our wedding. Glad to know my tax dollars aren't being squandered... read more
