Rude employees with no sense of customer service. I rolled into the lobby at around 12:00 and there were two people standing in line so I open the lobby door and drop into line. The clerk looks at me and says "we are closed". I said "the door was open and I just need to pickup my package." He says "we are closed for lunch". When I said "so you're going to make me come back later this afternoon" he says "I can make you". All three of us just looked at him. Horrible, rude! I get a package every month at the same time and every month the bitter women who is rude to everyone who lives here in Frisco tells me if I had a package I would have a notice in my box. This month no different. That rude women tells me no. When I give a teaching number and she goes and gets my box she tells me that sometimes notices don't make it to the boxes! In case you didn't know, mail is not delivered in Frisco. Like actually... they don't deliver mail in Frisco. It may make you ask "Hmm... what does the USPS do? Why do we fund them? Why are they useless?" All valid questions. Also, Jim who possibly works in the office there is an idiot - his advice was literally to use another carrier like UPS or Fedex. Our tax dollars at work. I had my PO Box for over a year and a half. I Had renewed for another year in August Then they locked it in September said I hadn't renewed it. I talked to people both times I renewed it. Ironically, the sane person. They renewed it September for another year. So I'm good to go right?! Wrong. They sold it to somebody else in November, even though I had renewed it for an entire year! They said i should have renewed it in August, which I did!Reminded them of the entire situation and all they did was give me an oh shit look They then came up with some excuse that there computer system caused the error and the person who sold it didn't check the box to see if it was in use. Like I could still access the box, my keys still worked. It's illegal for me to get someone else's mail. I fortunately had put all the mail in the return box because I didn't think it belonged to me because it didn't have my name on it. How is your system that bad?! I thought it was illegal to get other peoples mail. I've got business documents, and checks that come to that address. The only solution was I open up another box. Like no, I have so many important documents that go to that box and you screwed up! Make the other people move boxes. I've had it for a year and a half! This is ridiculous. Now I have to spend a lot of money to get documents and checks back and a lot of other things because they screwed up! Thanks. Thanks a lot. read more

Customer service is almost non existent. Employees are not helpful nor has anyone there taken the opportunity to just take two minutes and help people get packages and letters mailed. I am sorry that the post office is currently run by someone who cuts hours, jobs and actually encourages mail not to be delivered. I truly feel for people who are working at USPS these days. That said - I will pay extra for FedEx or UPS. It isn't worth the hassle for rude service, lack of service or generally wasting your time trying to get something taken care of there. read more

This place is great! I don't get all the negative reviews? Yes, it's a small town post office where everyone has a PO Box and has to go there to pick up their mail. Home delivery would be nice, but that's just not how it is up here. So...the Post Office is busy all the time. That said, the service has always been great and the people there are helpful and I'd even say friendly, even though they're busy and working hard. I had a package delivered today May 17th at 9:30 am. I waited until 1 to go get, it's my Granddaughters 10th Birthday today, they are visiting from Texas. They leave tomorrow morning. I looked in my po.box nothing there. So I went and waited in line. I got up to the counter and the older Lady was super rude to me. I told her I had a package delivered this morning and her reply was " I have over 400 packages, they are not done yet. I said it's for a birthday, she said oh well. I walked away. I'm so over this place and how you get treated. I'm sure when they receive packages they get them instantly. So, I just want to thank the Frisco Post Office and yet again for ruining someone day, as always. They should just close it down and only have people receiving the mail. read more

The lines are usually short here. That's one of the benefits of living in a small mountain town! This review is basically about the customer service here. Often times, the employees are nice and accommodating. However, there's this one employee who always rubs me the wrong way. She gives me a slight attitude every time I come in. Yesterday she was so rude to me that I had a hard time staying calm. I was mailing out a small piece of log (which was sanded and finished) to my mother for her to make a side table out of. When I brought it in this lady stared at me with a sneer and the most judgmental facial expression I've ever seen. She snickered and made some rude comments to the customer in front of her. While I got a box, packed it, taped it up, she observed me with a judgmental smirk on her face, trying to stifle her laughter at the hiiiiiilaaaaaarious fact that I was mailing a piece of log to someone. Like, that's crazy, right?!?!? I come to the post office to mail stuff out, not to be judged. I'm never comfortable at this post office because of her. I hope the manager of this post office reads this review and corrects this particular employee's actions. read more

This post office is horrible. They won't spend any time trying to actually deliver packages, they have returned more mail then they have actually delivered. The worst part is that sometimes FedEX and ups will use them to deliver the last mile. But, since they don't deliver to anyone in Frisco, they will typically return the item. Only way around this is to use their physical address and use Apt # for your PO Box. read more

Very rude guy on the phone when I asked if they could retrieve a package that had been marked to return to sender. I didn't know that those packages all went in with the general mail, so understand that they couldn't do it, and would have been fine with a pleasant "I'm sorry but we just don't have time to sort through all the packages to find one." but his tone bordered on contemptuous. read more

The woman named Eileen was very condescending. She first hassled my friend about how to package an oddly shaped ice axe. She then gave me a slight attitude about me addressing my package after I asked if I should use a particular label. She said "Don't use that label. Just write the address here." She pointed to a random place on the box, so I began writing the address there. Then she snatched the package away from me and said "That's not where you write the address. Don't you know how to write an address on a letter? Where are you supposed to write the address on a letter and where are you supposed to write the return address? Don't you know this?!" And I stood there puzzled at how rude she was to me. Obviously I know how to address a letter..... but I was writing exactly where she initially told me to write, and my package was covered in tape so I was writing in what little free space I had. What a rude, rude woman. She continued to have a slight attitude for the duration of our time together. I'd like someone to talk with her about not being so high and mighty towards those around her. read more

I send posters to deceased First Responders around the country. I sent one to the family of the firefighter who died in the Frisco area fighting a fire there. I did not know the town only uses P.O. boxes. I sent it to the Summit Fire Department at County Shops Road. It was sent back to me. I called and asked to find out why it was not delivered. I got Mr. Jim Armstrong. He was a very rude person. He spoke to me as if I should know better that only P.O. boxes were used in that town. I said wouldn't someone there know the P.O. box number for the fire departments to deliver the package. He just got nastier and hung up on me. The address on the mailing tube said to "the family of Firefighter Kenneth Jones, Summit Fire and EMS Authority, County Shops Road." It seemed to me for someone who calls themselves the Postmaster that they should have been more professional in their dealing with the public. Seeing other feedback on this website I am not impressed at all and will report Mr. Armstrong's unprofessional behavior to the USPS Consumers Affairs Department. Maybe they can demote him to a level that he could better handle the public. If other employees there have poor attitudes it may be coming from the top in that office. The first responders like the fire, police, sheriff and EMS deserve our respect for the work they do for us 24/7. read more

The door covering the front desk has been broken for months meaning a line in front of the "employee only door" to wait for service that stretches out the front doors. Lines are long, mailboxes are overstuffed to the point of damaging mail, and other mistakes are frequent like selling the same PO box to multiple customers resulting in confusion and returned mail. The absolute worst thing about Summit County is the USPS. They charge you huge fees for a PO Box despite all other citizens in the country getting mail free to their door. Treat you like an asshole when you inquire about packages that say they have arrived when you haven't rec'd a slip for the package...they return packages to sender that are addressed correctly, they return incorrectly addresses packages without any attempt to find the correct address and apparently sometimes return packages just for fun. Awful, awful, awful. Getting anything delivered is such a pain in the ass, there are simple solutions and they refuse to do anything to help, what a miserable place... read more
