I had one simple question about a package and she would literally not even let me get two words out, before interrupting me repeatedly. Absolutely disgusting...My package issue was never solved. My favorite post office! And I'm glad it's close to home. Plenty of parking. I ship often since I have a small business and the staff has always been very helpful. Never had a negative experience with anyone that worked there. The kiosk machine is also very convenient and helps save time if there are long lines, which of course is like any other post office so I don't know why people complain about lines. I also process all my money orders here because it's inexpensive and all the post office employees are so on point, haven't made a mistake until this day and I've been going there over 3 years. Lines will move a lot faster if all customers have all labels and everything else ready. read more

Horrible customer service. Our mailbox was broken into and its been 2 months and it's still not fixed. We have to pick up our mail and usually ring the doorbell to have someone assist us. After ringing the doorbell without any response, I go to the line to ask if anyone was working the door. The manager responds by saying you have to wait in line ( with an attitude). He then talks to a customer about me by saying well, they will have to complain then. Very rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't give 1 star but zero isn't an option. read more

Susan, you are a nasty woman. USPS should really invest in customer service classes for their employees. This woman took a nasty tone while my mom tried explaining her two last names because she's recently divorced. This woman rudely asked my mom several times what each last name was when we tried explaining but she thought it OK to interrupt. Under my breath, I did say "Oh my goshhhh!" Because of how many times she was asking which last name was which "what's that?" "Well, what's that?" Multiple about 4 more times. She told me to calm down. I had to walk away because I couldn't deal with her tone. When I returned to the counter, she had taken a friendlier more inviting tone with my mom. This is without a doubt, the ABSOLUTE WORST post office I have ever been to. The lines are always atrocious, extending from the Counter, past the double doors, into the lobby, and to the main entry doors. Usually only 1 or 2 clerks. Even when there's more than that, they are in the back goofing around, and not helping people. Even the people at the door for pick ups, tell people to get lost and to go to the main counter. Making the customer stand in a line like the one I described. The clerks here need to be fired, and a new staff hired. From top to bottom. Management included, because a Good Management team, WOULD NOT ALLOW service like this. read more

First I only gave one star only because I can't put a BIG FAT "0" on it, my mail box was broken into since December 2016 and no one has fixed it. They say the home builders are responsible for it, but I don't see anyone doing anything about it. Then rumors about the postal should be the ones to fix it and say they can't cause it's not they're boxes, then why are they delivering mail into them and have the keys for the doors. This is rediculous to keep going to the post office and get my mail. I only go once a week so I don't have to deal with long lines and very RUDE employees. The looks on they're faces is like they don't want to help out they're customers. If they're tired of dealing with all these people coming in for mail or complaining about the boxes, then they should fix the FN boxes so they don't have to deal with more people coming. It's only gonna get worse with more boxes getting broken into. It's never gonna end. They need better service and more workers with better attitude. And get all those fake begging homeless out of the lot. Especially the one who sleeps on a hospital bed. My kids get freaked out seeing him just sitting there. read more

This post office has the most rude, inconsiderate workers! I called the local number, because I went to get my mail and all the sudden there is a new box and my key no longer works. No notice from the post office or our mailman, nothing posted on our old box to let us know, nothing. So I looked up the number to call this location. I told the operator that our mailbox was changed out between yesterday and today, and my key no longer works. She told me I need to go down to the post office and get a new key, with proper documentation and ID. So I left work early, drove all the way down to the post office, which is not that close to me, and waited in a line for 25 minutes. When I finally get called, I give the lady (an older Hispanic lady) my ID, she looks at it and the lady next to her (a very extremely rude African American lady) said we don't have that street. I told them I just called before I came down, and the lady in front of me tells me "The key will not be ready for at least 2-3 days, you have to come back". First of all, why would the operator on the phone TELL me to wait 2-3 days when I TOLD her it was changed last night or today....that was extremely rude. Then to waste my time and drive down to the post office only to be treated rudely from the two workers there. If there was any way to avoid these people, I would, but unfortunately I am stuck with businesses like this by living in Fontana. If you have the option, go to another post office. RUDE WORKERS!!!!! Never coming here again. First impressions do the trick!! Specifically one lady.... If you're in a job that deals with customers, DON'T TAKE YOUR ANGER/FRUSTRATION/CRAPPY DAY on them!! This is my one pet peeve with workers, especially since I have worked retail for 5 years as an assistant manager. Even if there is a death or terminal illness with you or someone in the family, this doesn't mean you can ruin someone else's day. As a nurse, there are MANY ways to take your anger out and find inner peace. This lady had ZERO empathy/patience/understanding for the customer and therefore drove us to leave the post office. We should've asked for a supervisor, but I was too upset and shocked that someone would be this rude to me when we didn't give her anything rude to work with.... she was mad that I didn't have labels on my package, and I simply asked if they could make them for me because I've HAD post offices do that before....where other, FRIENDLY staff were... but she dismissed me by saying that no other place does that, had a disgusted look on her face, and told me to go back and make a label. She also said "THAT'S why I asked who was READY, and you're not even ready." I WAS HEATED!!!!!!! Never again! Went to UPS, which obviously had MUCH better customer service even though I had to pay a little more. CUSTOMER SERVICE, PEOPLE!!! read more

Some staff are not so knowledgeable regarding passport application procedures. My husband is not a US citizen or an immigrant and he can't come here because he doesn't have a visa that's why me and our son are going to visit him instead. The male staff I spoke with was insisting that my husband had to be here in order for me to get a passport for our son. I explained the situation to him twice and then he said I had to seek full legal and sole custody of my son if my husband can't come here to apply for the passport with me. I couldn't believe I had to go to court just for a passport. Good thing I checked the travel.state.gov website and saw a parental consent form to be used in this type of situation. No thanks to the guy I spoke to. He sounded like he was in a hurry and exasperated as he explained to me that I would be wasting my time if I applied for a passport without my son's dad or without seeking sole custody of my son. read more

First time at this post office location. The parking set-up is ridiculous; the traffic engineer that designed the parking, ingress, and egress should have his license revoked! Once you're able to park, as you approach the outside of the building you'll probably not want to go in!!! There is trash EVERYWHERE, no landscaping to speak of, and there isn't even a flag on the pole. Once you reach the front door, you better have your hand sanitizer handy because the front glass doors are incredibly filthy!!! If you're still brave enough to venture inside, you'll see nearly as much trash inside as there is outside; and there's a VERY foul odor!!! The line was a bit long, but it went quickly. I received EXCELLENT customer service from Linda!!! She even helped me save money with a few changes to my shipping choices. My experience at the counter with her almost made me forget what a crappy federal facility I walked into...That is until I turned around to leave and saw all the trash and filth in and around the building!!! read more

Our mailbox was broken into as well. It is a collective mailbox for about 10 houses. Neither the post office nor the County of SB will pay to repair it. And, PO does a poor job of holding our mail. After 2 weeks, all they gave me was one letter. And, they were yelling at the guy in front of me when he asked who was supposed to fix his mailbox. read more

OMG, what a mess and totally unorganized this place is. Our mail box (plus numerous more) in the North Fontana area have been severely damaged causing us to pick-up our mail at the office on Sierra. It's been 3 weeks and no one knows when it will be fixed nor do they care. The run around we get is unbelievable, they tell us to go to the back and ring a bell. After waiting 20 minutes and no one answering the door we went back inside to wait in another line. Once we arrived at the window the counter person was very rude and plays dump about why were at the P.O. She waited on us the day before so she knows why we are picking up our mail. Then she yells out at the top of her lungs "who is handling the pick-up mail"? I understand our broken boxes has placed an extra burden on the USPS work day, but don' take it out on us by giving unhelpful body language and horrible customer service. Worst worst worst customer service and deliveries. Not only they speak to you like you are piece of trash, but they can't even answer common questions. It's like some off the street person answered the phone and can't help you at all. This is the 3rd time my tracking says out for delivery but was never delivered and then they say oops we can't locate your package. The thing is it only happens to items I paid almost $1000 for .
