I've been coming to this OfficeMax for the past year consistently to print, and every single visit has been a great experience. I'm in here so often it feels like the staff genuinely knows me, and that familiarity means a lot when you are running a business and constantly on the go. The store manager is an absolute sweetheart, and I truly appreciate her. She is an older Black woman who exudes kindness, patience, and professionalism. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy she sets for the entire store. Her leadership really shows in how smoothly everything runs. Her staff has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. Whether I'm printing a large order, need help resizing something, or I'm rushing to meet a deadline, they always step in with a smile and make the process easy. The wait is never long, they work fast, and everyone is extremely knowledgeable about their products and services. The store is always clean and calm, even when it is packed. You can tell the team takes pride in their environment and makes sure customers feel comfortable and taken care of. This store has become my go to location because the customer service is consistently exceptional. When you find a team that treats you with respect, efficiency, and genuine care, you stick with them. What a waste of my time...change your name to Office Min. Your front doors don't work, so people have to manually slide them open. You have a "checkin" system to use you copiers ...you have 4 copiers and there was one person using one and I had a 5minute wait? Then I ask girl behind counter how do I scan ...so she said follow the prompts ( even though she had no customers , she couldn't help me)...tried twice to scan and email didn't work. Went to counter ...girl there tried 2 machines...guess what , none worked. So your print shop basically is running at 50% and you don't have functional doors. Arrived 30 minutes prior to closing on a Sunday. My son needed to scan 100 pages for his college assignment that was due today. Staff was very rude and condescending. He was not allowed to scan. Job would of taken only 15 minutes. Never, ever coming back! Go somewhere else! Terrible!!!! read more

I had a rather large box for FedEx my first time in the store I walked in and you got two people jacking on their phones talking to each other and laughing and I said do I need to check it for FedEx? Whoever the short girl is with the short hair working in the printing department has a poor attitude and absolutely no customer service. This was my first time ever going through their printing department but her entire demeanor was dismissive as if my questions were an inconvenience. Instead of providing guidance on the process she gave short dull responses and seemed as if she was uninterested in conversing. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just doesn't like her job but she needs to be more aware of how she treats customers. read more

Per the lady behind the desk on 5 copies could be made from an email. Any more copies than 5 is a special order which takes 2 days. This was told to me after downloading the file and spending an hour. The manger added Joyce stated something differently. Just go to Walgreens to get large prints which is best. read more

This office max is the least professional office supply store. I needed printing services and the two people behind the counter were not friendly. Very unhelpful to multiple guest. My photos came out blurry and it was not based on the resolution, coloring was not good. Still had to pay for them. Joyce was the most unfriendly, unhelpful associate there. Office Max was open on Sunday for printing services (FedEx was not). There were self-serve options as well as someone to help provide the printing service using the custom file and paper you want. There is a paper cutter available if needed. I was happy to know that this is an option for last-minute/emergency printing projects. read more

The worst Customer Service ever They don't want to help you to work these lame ass printers . These minimum wage employees They just give you a little instruction card to do it yourself and when you get to the printers You have to figure out what your doing yourself. They ask you to put in your credit card which it will hold a minimum of $5.00 on the card just to print a copy of 13 cents per paper when they could of just told you to buy a gift card for the amount you required to print. These people are stupid and don't give a shit of their customers . I should of read their reviews previously I never return to this place again !!!! read more

Very expensive when it comes to faxing. Customer service is awful. There were about three people in line one girl was making copies one was helping a customer extra extra extra slow and then there was another girl just walking around. It was 10 minutes before closed time, and I thought I had just made it, but the manager decided to close early and go home early!! The doors were closed!! No wonder they are losing customers to Amazon!! Get this manager out and bring someone who can stay open as noted and grow the store!! I walked in to do a fax and the machine kept giving me an error message and it said something about a charge for 75$ would be held I then asked for some help because I was not understanding what the machine was trying to do. The worker (sky) told me to sign in for me to get any type of help I did that and as my name was called instead of helping me because my name was called she helped the African American lady that had just walked up that was not signed in. I feel like this was because I was Mexican and the lady she was helping was African American. Then I go to make a complaint about sky and to the manager and after I explained to Brianna ( said she was a manager) then asked me well what would you like me to do ? This office Max has some really horrible workers with 0 customer skills. There's a couple of ladies that work the printing section who hate it if you ask questions and will deliberately skip and go to the next person. My dad is 72 years old, and I have noticed they refuse to speak Spanish even though it is clearly they do. Theres one lady who has black hair who looks utterly bored and annoyed working there and the other lady who has brown hair and blond tips who is a poor excuse of an assistant manager who is so rude and will wait for you to pay before she allows you to check your printing order. And if she makes a mistake too bad, she won't make the order right and will tell you to move because she has other customers. Is this the kind of people they hired to represent the face of the store? That's a shame. I totally understand working customer service and becoming overwhelmed, but it's not like they had 20 people online. They are lazy and want to provide the bare minimum of customer service and do the least amount of work. In addition, this store is notorious for calling the customers an hour before they close that the order placed in the morning won't be ready today. Why? Because they had to print too many orders, the machines have to cool, they can't print construction plans, they are only allowed 5 a day and another excuse they give is that they are not allowed to print after 5 pm. What kind of excuses are these when the whole purpose of having the printing service is for printing! Why has not corporate placed signs stating those rules? Utterly surprised corporate allows this type of behavior from the employees. read more

Went in around 11am to ship something, there was only one gal working the self service kiosk and she was with a customer for over 30 minutes while 4 other people waited , there were 4 other employees just walking around and no one bothered to help. I came prepared for the worst. I had 2 qty. 3 ring binders that I needed copied and hole punched. I found Helen at the counter and while I unstapled, she helped me copy and set the machine to hole punch. I am so grateful to Helen, she was patient. Luckily I came to the store in the morning. Usually I would say that this is a great office max / depot place. Because of got these same invitations printed here before and done curbside, I did it again. I got no order confirmation email or anything, so I call to see any updates on my order why it isn't updating or what to do. The girl employee working the print this morning 1/16/23 was helping me figure out what was going on, she said she couldn't print it which is why I was confused what was going on since I had put curbside delivery in store. She then proceeded to put me on hold mid conversation and then when I asked her what I should do she gave me a condescending tone and then said "we'll you could delete your order" and I was asking if my money would be back on the card or reorder it or what should I do. She then told me that she would cancel the order then hung up on me. I called back to tell the manager if my order was canceled and to complain about the unprofessional service from her employee, she then gaslights me and tells me she can't help me with my order and tells me that it was canceled by ME....and that's what it says in the computer. I did not cancel it, so the employee canceled it and put that I did. She then tells me she can't help me and is interrupting me, then I said "I'm not calling about my order, I'm calling to complain about your f* employee." She then gaslights me and tells me she won't talk to me if I'm talking to her that way (she should tell that to her employee as well if she wants to coach people on how to talk in customer service) and so as I am getting nowhere because she is not taking accountability for her employees actions in canceling my order, I hung up. Please do better or train your employees how to print stuff I've gotten printed there before. I've never had bad service at this location until now and I have told corporate about it as well. read more

Located on Sierra Lakes Pwky -- pretty empty in terms of foot traffic, but the staff here are all so helpful. Came here to get some things printed, and they were very friendly. They have multiple printers, and difference machines for lamination etc. Services also provided here are screen replacement for iPhones etc. Fully stocked store. read more

Print staff staff is in need of training. I was informed that in order to get same day business card printing I would have to submit my image before 12 it was 1130. They took my design to print card stock I informed them that it was set up as. PSD file and had all necessary bleeds they looked at me and asked me what's a PSD. What kinda printshop doesn't know what a photoshop file format is. Once I got my prints on card stock I was told that I can cut it myself then I realized the business cards were too small. Horrible customer service! At the end of the horrible experience I was told the manager will be at the store tomorrow at 8 am! Nothing was resolved, nor an attempt to help! The male employee that was the rudest walked away as he informed me of the manager's schedule. I felt bad for the girl running check out...she was trying to get help herself and no one seemed to know what to do! One employee was sweeping and wouldn't make eye contact with me and another was stocking school supplies and wouldn't look in my direction as well. As soon as I began to leave they all gathered around the front desk....obviously to gossip...instead of helping me out! Once I'm not mad I'm calling corporate! I can't even begin to tell you how horrible the customer service is at their print counter. I have been a long-time customer and a frequent stores in Rancho and Ontario mostly and I've never had an issue. It must be their lack of knowledge. I'm surprised at such the low ratings for this store. Went in today to get some diy cards I made laminated. I will admit, with one of the store employees there was a mishap and my cards were overlapping after he laminated it. The manager Aprille came over and she was very thoughtful,sweet, and caring. She was very apologetic for the mishap and took the time herself to fix it. I could tell she was paying very close attention to what she was doing and really put a lot of thought and concern into making sure the cards were not ruined. She went above and beyond what other stores would have done and I appreciate that. read more

I just came in to make copies of Dad's tax return. The copiers worked well, in that, they uh, worked, with plenty of printing options. The kid behind the cash register surprised me. Normally I encounter one of two types of kid workers: Type A looks at me with disdain because I'm apparently "OLD - like over 25". Type B gives friendly and personable service, no matter with whom they're dealing. After I'd paid, I asked him where was the nearest mailbox. He didn't know. He asked a co-worker, but the co-worker also didn't know. So the kid gets on his walkie-talkie headset and asks someone elsewhere in the store, then tells me the answer. I was shocked. The kid could easily have just said he didn't know, and left it at that. But he didn't. He went out of his way to give me good service, even though I was only buying a bunch of copies. read more

I am going to blame Office Max here for not training their employees on the merchandise they sell. I had questions about a product and the employee had absolutely no idea about it. She had to pull up the item code and basically read me what the package stated. Same information I was able to read from the box itself. very disappointing. read more
