I had an unusual mailing issue on Saturday 2/14/26. There were several people ahead of me in line as it got closer to closing time. I want to commend the young lady who was working that day. Literally the most incompetent people working here. Had a package delivered to the box... still had the yellow slip. They informed me that the package was already picked up that day. Not by me or anyone with MY key. They couldn't say who picked it yet. Yet they give you the 3rd degree when picking up. First and last name on the package, ID, etc. Oh and they weren't helpful after that either. I'd like them to reimburse the $200 they just GAVE AWAY. The service here is not the best. I continue to call for help on my mailbox lock being damaged and being unable to open. At first I understood they are busy but then they do not follow up with after they state they would. The contractors for the local Florence post office continually put mail in the wrong boxes out here in Merrill Ranch. I get that it's their contractors, and not the actual postal employees themselves but they need to vet their contractors a bit more carefully to ensure they passed fourth grade at least. Yesterday I had an extremely important and expensive package misdelivered. It was supposed to be signed for, so the contractor signed his own name to it and dropped it in my neighbors box. Fortunately my neighbors and I are friends and anticipate this happening as it's a frequent t enough occurrence, so they brought me the package, but the panic I felt when I got the notification it was signed for and delivered when I didn't get it was not pleasant. read more

Wish i could give them zero stars because i have never met more incompetent people in my life. I have had several issues with them including them gaslighting me saying that a package never arrived when infact they forgot to put it in my mailbox and I had proof of the packages arrival, them also losing some of my mail, but today was my 13th reason. I went to pick up my mail and found this (picture included to show how a box the size of my mailbox was shoved into my mailbox) how THE HELL was I suppose to get a box out of my mailbox that is quite literally the same size as my mailbox...??? My pinky finger barely fit in the space. My husband had to hack at the box with our keys to open the box to get the stuff out but the box stayed in there. My family ordered gifts for our Church Christmas party in ample time. First they told us it was undeliverable which didn't make sense because someone was waiting for the delivery. Then they said they would try again the next day. They did not. Then then said the third day, which was a Saturday when they are supposed to be open from 10:30 -1:30, we tried several times to pick it up and they refused to answer the bell. We could hear them talking in the back. This lack of consideration left our children without their Christmas gifts. This is unacceptable. This isn't the first time this has happened. The Florence post office has contracted letter carriers, meaning they are not USPS carriers. My mail is OFTEN delivered to the wrong box, and i have had many missing packages. I also have received many packages in my box that are not mine. I have called often, and i will say the manager is very polite, helpful, and willing to listen, however the problem is with the carriers, and an on going problem with most residents in my development. :( read more

I gave them a five star just because my daughter went in to check for her packages and they told her to come back the next day still nothing so I decided to go in the one lady she's so negative I don't know her name the white lady I'll just call her but then a gentleman came up and he said that was him and he was sorry I suggest seems like this is been going on for three months. I said I literally don't get anything in the mouth for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden it's cram full He said well that's odd because he should be still getting mail. I said I just don't know what's going on. He said it's been longer than three months been going on for six months, but he did say that one of his employees left early. How do you leave early? Not only was he following up on my request, he was extremely helpful in getting me aquatinted with the USPS services. Told postal lady that I wanted package before Christmas and to let me know cost this was 10 days before Christmas, package going to son in Army in Germany. I've had a package say delivered but I never received! The package finally came weeks later and damaged goods!!!! My mail is frequently delivered to the wrong boxes around Florence Gardens. I spoke to Michael a supervisor at the Florence office and he gave me a number to call if this happens again. He said it was a direct number to him. In theee days of calling there is no answer. Folks keep asking me to correct my address but it is correctly displayed on every piece of mail. The delivery person is just not looking at the address. I can't be the only one experiencing this problem. And of course the USPS is raising their rates this month. WHAT FOR??? I had a similar problem with mail/packages being delivered to the wrong boxes around Florence Gardens. I order frequently from eBay and my packages weren't showing up. What I did was take my tracking number down to the Florence post office and had the desk clerk look it up. They always say that the package has been delivered, but I tell them I just checked and it wasn't in my box. Talking to them in person forces them to take action and track down your package. I had to go down there three separate times until they fixed it, twice in one day. I see that someone now handwrites my box number on my mail. Problem solved! read more
