I used to have a crazy issue with this post office because my mail was constantly being misdelivered in my neighborhood. I got to know all of my neighbors as we traded each other's letters back and forth. It was a real community get together around the holidays. However in the last several years it's finally stopped happening. I don't know if they are vetting their contract delivery carriers better or what, but it's nice to have my mail actually end up in my mailbox and not somebody else's. I've also been into the location more frequently and can say that getting a passport here was painless. Their lines move quickly as they usually have three people working their counters, and their rental boxes are secure. So good job guys, you've stepped up your game considerably, and I really appreciate it. read more

I really wish they would do a better job of delivering the mail. I have gone to try to recover my mail from the post office and they didn't have it . read more

Literally the most incompetent people working here. Had a package delivered to the box... still had the yellow slip. They informed me that the package was already picked up that day. Not by me or anyone with MY key. They couldn't say who picked it yet. Yet they give you the 3rd degree when picking up. First and last name on the package, ID, etc. Oh and they weren't helpful after that either. I'd like them to reimburse the $200 they just GAVE AWAY. If you want to receive your mail... wouldn't trust these thieves. read more

THE WORST POST OFFICE IN ARIZONA!!! These people are not kind or helpful...they are Lemons with sour faces... They return my orders from Amazon all the time...because they cannot do the extra step ....to match address with P.O Box number....its a rude thing to do...but they do it all the time...they aren't paid to do an extra step....to do a kindness..... We Need a MAILMAN!!! read more

The service here is not the best. I continue to call for help on my mailbox lock being damaged and being unable to open. At first I understood they are busy but then they do not follow up with after they state they would. I have to continue to call and then they never answer when I call the actual office, it's very unprofessional. I have important documents I need that have been delivered and also other documents that are pending delivery that may not due to this issue. I had to give it a star but I would not read more

I had an unusual mailing issue on Saturday 2/14/26. There were several people ahead of me in line as it got closer to closing time. I want to commend the young lady who was working that day. She was very pleasant and patiently helping everyone. I had kind of a strange mailing situation and when it was finally my turn she very kindly helped me with the best solution. Your post office should be proud to have an employee like her. read more

This post office is not open on Saturdays and if you have an issue, they NEVER NEVER NEVER answer thier phone

Made an appointment online for a passport and came for my appointment and was told that I didn't have an appointment. I was then told they couldn't help me because they were "super busy" while the whole building was empty. If I could leave negative stats I would. read more

Wish i could give them zero stars because i have never met more incompetent people in my life. I have had several issues with them including them gaslighting me saying that a package never arrived when infact they forgot to put it in my mailbox and I had proof of the packages arrival, them also losing some of my mail, but today was my 13th reason. I went to pick up my mail and found this (picture included to show how a box the size of my mailbox was shoved into my mailbox) how THE HELL was I suppose to get a box out of my mailbox that is quite literally the same size as my mailbox...??? My pinky finger barely fit in the space. My husband had to hack at the box with our keys to open the box to get the stuff out but the box stayed in there. Now I have to call them tomorrow to get the box out and tell them how truly dumb the mailman is. I wanna go full Karen. Like wtf. Anyway if they have one enemy it's me. read more

Closed on Saturday in Florence. Mailboxes won't take thick envelopes. Staff is friendly and lines are usually short. Wish the hours were longer. read more

The absolute worst post office. My mail is LOST CONSTANTLY. I am currently waiting to hear about a $150 Christmas gift that shows delivered and it is NOT IN MY BOX. My neighbors deliver my mail better than the post office. I am soooo upset. read more

My family ordered gifts for our Church Christmas party in ample time. First they told us it was undeliverable which didn't make sense because someone was waiting for the delivery. Then they said they would try again the next day. They did not. Then then said the third day, which was a Saturday when they are supposed to be open from 10:30 -1:30, we tried several times to pick it up and they refused to answer the bell. We could hear them talking in the back. This lack of consideration left our children without their Christmas gifts. This is unacceptable. This isn't the first time this has happened. Someone really needs to get it together. read more

The post master will not do his job and make his employees do theirs. They refuse to deliver packages. I was told they are UNION. well that tells you he is scared. Then when I fought back they held my mail hostage until I went to town and spoke to the post master. THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW. read more

We had an appointment for my daughters passport application at this location. We don't live nearby but this location had appointment openings weeks in advance compared to ones near us. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and our appointment started right away. The woman that helped us was kind, efficient, and speedy. Totally worth the drive for us. Thank you:) read more

The Florence post office has contracted letter carriers, meaning they are not USPS carriers. My mail is OFTEN delivered to the wrong box, and i have had many missing packages. I also have received many packages in my box that are not mine. I have called often, and i will say the manager is very polite, helpful, and willing to listen, however the problem is with the carriers, and an on going problem with most residents in my development. :( read more

I gave them a five star just because my daughter went in to check for her packages and they told her to come back the next day still nothing so I decided to go in the one lady she's so negative I don't know her name the white lady I'll just call her but then a gentleman came up and he said that was him and he was sorry I suggest seems like this is been going on for three months. I said I literally don't get anything in the mouth for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden it's cram full He said well that's odd because he should be still getting mail. I said I just don't know what's going on. He said it's been longer than three months been going on for six months, but he did say that one of his employees left early. How do you leave early? It's 11 o'clock you don't open till nine 930 I don't know anyways Lee called me and said the packages were in our box. I said that is so nice of you. You even had my number he looked it up from my PO Box. Lee became a supervisor he went above and beyond. Thank you. lee #1 read more

I don't know what other Yelp users are experiencing but I got a call today from Michael, the supervisor at the Florence branch. Not only was he following up on my request, he was extremely helpful in getting me aquatinted with the USPS services. He held my mail, offered to assist with change of address and assured me their office was there to help. I am so grateful for the call and feel so welcome to the community. read more

I got a call today from Michael, the supervisor at the Florence branch. He was following up on my request & visit to location. He was extremely kind and professional. He is trying to assist with establishing a mail box in my area. I am very appreciative of his service and would give 5 stars except I have tried to call Florence location back 14 x & continue to get busy signal. I hate this post office!!! In 41 years of life I've never come across employees so stupid!!! Always putting the wrong mail in my mailbox when it clearly states the address!!! I've had a package say delivered but I never received! The package finally came weeks later and damaged goods!!!! My Grandma sent something in the mail in the same state and a week later still has not arrived!!!!! I have 0 faith in this shitty post office my mail is probably in someone else's mailbox stolen or something shady!!!! They should not be aloud to continue to get away with this!!! Sick of it! read more

I just wanted to say thank you so much for what you all do for the community!!!I just drove by to drop off some bill's in the mailbox and saw all our mail carriers sorting our mail outside, social distancing, in 90 plus degree weather! My mail is frequently delivered to the wrong boxes around Florence Gardens. I spoke to Michael a supervisor at the Florence office and he gave me a number to call if this happens again. He said it was a direct number to him. In theee days of calling there is no answer. Folks keep asking me to correct my address but it is correctly displayed on every piece of mail. The delivery person is just not looking at the address. I can't be the only one experiencing this problem. And of course the USPS is raising their rates this month. WHAT FOR??? More poor service? read more

I had a similar problem with mail/packages being delivered to the wrong boxes around Florence Gardens. I order frequently from eBay and my packages weren't showing up. What I did was take my tracking number down to the Florence post office and had the desk clerk look it up. They always say that the package has been delivered, but I tell them I just checked and it wasn't in my box. Talking to them in person forces them to take action and track down your package. I had to go down there three separate times until they fixed it, twice in one day. I see that someone now handwrites my box number on my mail. Problem solved! read more
