I decided to give them a try and dropped off a dress and a men's dress shirt, hoping my experience would match the many 5-star reviews. I'm happy to say it did. The shop is clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming both when I dropped off and picked up my items. The turnaround time they quoted was accurate, and the total cost for both items was just over $20, which is a great price for a local cleaner. I'm glad to have found a reliable neighborhood spot and would happily recommend Diamond Dry Cleaners to others.

I was in a bit of a pinch because my long throw pillow's case was in need of a cleaning and it was not washer/dryer safe like I had assumed. They offer a wide range of services including dry cleaning, alterations, leather & suede cleaning, rug and drape cleaning, wash & fold, and even wedding dress preservation. I brought in 2 linen shirts, 1 pair of linen pants, and 1 pair of dress pants for dry cleaning, and everything came back looking fantastic. What really stood out was the linen pants. They had a stain at the bottom of one leg that other dry cleaners either missed or couldn't remove. Island Dry Cleaners got it out without any issue. Every piece was also crisply pressed. The service was fast and friendly. I dropped everything off Tuesday morning and received a text notification Wednesday late morning saying my clothes were ready for pickup -- a full day earlier than expected. Pricing was $7.50 per item, which is a little higher than what I'm used to paying, but absolutely worth it for the level of quality and service received. I'll definitely be back.

Before we met, I explained that my wedding dress needed a zipper repair and that the hips needed to be taken in. Additionally, because my dress was strapless I wanted to add on some custom sleeves. I asked if this could be done before meeting her given it was 2 months before the wedding event. She said she could make it happen and it would be complete by the time I needed. She had my dress for a month. The original day for pick up was Saturday, 4 days before my event. She messaged me asking to postpone to Sunday morning. Sunday morning then became Sunday afternoon because she needed to go to brunch with her boyfriend. When I showed up to pick it up, it wasn't even ready. The sleeves still needed the appliqués to be sewn on. I also still had a tear in the bodice that needed to be fixed. By this time, it was 2 days before my event. In addition, the sleeves were so tight they did not even fit. She took measurements at our initial meeting, so not sure what went wrong. She said she would bring the dress to me later that night after making adjustments. She text me later that night asking to bring it the following day which I responded no given the close timing. She finally came to my house at 10PM on Sunday evening. The sleeves went from being so tight to where it could fit over my entire thigh. Thank goodness they were detachable because they were terrible. Didn't end up using them and they were a complete waste of money. She could tell how disappointed I was just by the look on my face. Furthermore, the dress reeked of marijuana. I did all I could to air it out so I did not smell like a dispensary. My original quote was $160 and final payment was to $245. All these events will deter me from being a future customer.
