I've been here twice in the last month. The place has plenty of parking, nice and efficient postal workers, and the line moves fast. This is so much better than the Queen Creek PO where I live. I now wait until I visit my sister-in-law in Apache Junction to take care of my post office needs. read more

I called your post office directly seven times and no one answers. I have a package that has been at your post office for two days that is supposed to come to Yuma. The post office should not have you go through all the steps to talk with you only to ask for a special number that I don't have to talk with you and then get disconnected every time that I try. read more

We have to have our mail forwarded. Contacted the customer service number. Told me what I needed to do. While traveling our local customer service called me and by the time we arrived at our destination everything was in place. Great Service read more

I wouldn't normally review a post office but this one is unique with the scales and printing for your postage and address labels . I'm not sure how the staff was but I could see they were anticipating customers and were friendly and smiling . The machine is very easy to operate . I go through alot of ink in printers and this was a Nice surprise to find its open after hours, prints and has the envelopes and boxes for free and uses debit cards or credit but no cash . read more

I operate a business out of Apache junction. I have a mailbox that is on a post right out in front of our business. It has been verified and it is legal as far as the Apache Junction Post office is concerned. It is right where they told us to install it to get mail for our business. Recently the supervisor of the post office in Apache Junction has been holding our mail. For no apparent reason. I do not know this person he does not know us. I called today the date 5:31/2024 to find out why we have not been receiving our mail. The supervisor of this post office stated he would let the mail get delivered this one time today because it was different names on there. The United States postal Service delivers by address not by names. I contacted the 1-800 number and they verified this. The supervisor at this post office is just picking this business out of all the others. I do not know why. I do know that he has in his possession to credit cards and three legal state documents. That he is not being allowed to be delivered to this business. And in turn keeping the two credit cards line of credit that we just got for this business is harming my business as well. I hope that somebody can do something about this. He has been holding the two credit cards for my business now for four business days and has held the three legal documents that I'm talking about referring to for two business days. I do not understand why this is happening. It seems like he is picking our business out and just making life harder on our business and on us personally. I have did a service request on the mail carrier and the mail supervisor. But that's going to take you to three business days. While we're sitting here waiting for the mail to be delivered that should be done anyway. read more

Worst post service! Lazy, don't want to deliver to your door, so bends packages to fit in little box or just returns them! The phone to the office is always busy, you can NEVER get through (purposely). I've never had such a bizarre postal experience or such poor service period! You do not want to live in Apache Junction...the postal service is as bad as the town! read more

I love the openness of the all the windows and how you are able to use their Post office Stamp Machine, so you don't even have to go and be in a line or really talk to someone, of you are wanting to go in and out or of they are closed for the night; as the mail area is open 24/7, so that stamp Machine is really nice. The CS, well, they are always nice and polite. It would be nice to have some courtesy tape or pay by the inch, I don't need a whole roll of tape; thank you...they do make sure that the package will get their as they will tape it if it's ripped or torne. read more

I had a complicated issue with mail forwarding because I reside at two addresses between Apache Junction and Florence AZ and I have mail that needs to go to both locations. I had a mail forwarding in place, but was unaware when I signed up for it that the state would not forward mail and would have it sent back and shredded. Therefore, my family was not receiving our vehicle registrations or state land use passes. I tried resloving this through the USPS website with no action, the USPS 1-800 number that I was on hold with for over 30 minutes and when I was connected it was a representative in India who told me she could not resolve it and I had to do it through the website, then I tried calling the Florence Post Office for over an hour and no one would answer (apparently from web search this is standard practice). Then I tried the Apache Junction post office where Alec answered right away and was so friendly and helpful. It really should have been the Florence office's responsibility but because one of the addresses did fall under his jurisdiction he stood up and took care of it. I had been on the phone and web so long trying to resolve this I was practically in tears when I got to him and was so happy to hear a friendly voice, even though at the out set he wasn't sure he could resolve the situation based on jurisdiction. Thank you Alec for just being an available and a well meaning human being who at the end of the day got the job done! We need more public servants like this! read more

We live in a 55+ community with the mail boxes in central locations at the end of each street. You can only access your individual box. Apparently, the 'substitutes' on this route are incapable of reading the "Lot #'s" as we are consistently having our mail dropped off by a neighbor - they rec'd our mail in their box! Problem is, when a neighbor is gone for ANY period of time, we have NO way of retrieving misplaced mail. When I have made complaints previously, I'm always told 'it's the substitute'!!! I have called and written to the PO who does issue a 'reminder' to the carrier to be more cautious......but THREE separate times last week , our mail was misdirected to different people. How HARD is it to ready a number on the mail - be it an address, a lot number, whatever? And who is ultimately responsible? One would think the Postmaster would be....just another 'teflon' bureaucrat with a cushy job and no accountability!!!!! read more

You can't get through to them on the phone when you have a problem with your mail being delivered. Then the wait time is 30-45 minutes. That is a bunch of garbage. read more

Lines are always long. Not enough help and they never answer the phone. I've also requested twice for my mail to be put on hold while I was away for 2 weeks each time. Although I got a confirmation e-mail stating that my mail would be held until the time I resumed it, it still was delivered. It piled up in my mailbox and packages were left at my door. My neighbors thought something happened to me. They called my landlord and I got a call from PCSO Deputy. I was trying to avoid the very thing that happened! Upon my return, I had a notice stating that my mail delivery would resume it never was held!!!!!!!! Another time they stopped my neighbors' mail instead of mine!!! read more

My wife dropped off a package on Monday, June 17th 2019 and it is now Wednesday, June 19th and it hasn't even been scanned into the system. When I try to call their office it's always busy; 18 times in the last 4 hours. How can a business like USPS not have a call waiting feature? AVoid this location like the plague... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I do not receive my mail. In the past week, I have received calls from my insurance company, my doctor, and a credit card company all saying their bills were returned as 'undeliverable'. I've owned this house for 14 years. Last November, when a snowbird neighbor returned, she brought over 27 items that were put in her mail hold from March through November. Most of them were important confidential financial statements. Some were bills. I ended up owing late fees to two companies as a result of not receiving statements/bills. Consistently poor delivery service for more than a year. read more

I receive many packages through the mail. A continuing problem I have is that the parcel lock box keys do not open the boxes. Either the wrong key was left or the lock is so worn or the key so bent I cannot open up the boxes!! On at least two previous occasions, I was given electronic notification that my packages had been delivered. I went to my mail box--in gleeful anticipation of receiving my gifts--only to find out the carrier had forgotten to leave a key for the parcel box! These foul-ups with parcel lock boxes happen more often than not! So, when I attempt to call the post office DURING BUSINESS HOURS I get an automated message stating my call cannot be completed as dialed. I am completed shut out from bringing these errors to their attention. I am so frustrated with the Apache Junction post office for their collectively horrible customer service. I put in a forwarding address in June of 2017 and it was suppose to be stopped on 09/01/17. it is sept 23, 2017 and I am still not receiving any mail. they told my boyfriend that someone came in and ordered my mail to be forwarded to MN until Dec of 2017. (Do they not have video cameras in these places to see who and when this happened?) I have not been in there until today. I called Deer River Mn yesterday , sept 22, 17, to see if my mail was still getting up there, and it was. I needed a new lock for my mailbox and they replaced it quickly. I spoke to their supervisor about other shipping issues and I received great service. I like this busy office. No complaints, nice supervisor. read more

I never had any issues with USPS until I moved to Apache Junction. They have the worst post office! Multiple times a week a neighbor will come over with our mail or we will have a neighbors mail in our mailbox. I have had 4 different packages lost completely, and 3 others that were delivered but ultimately found after long search processes. If you do ever have a package mis-delivered, be prepared to do a lot more then just fill out a "search request" online, I had to go into the post office multiple times and speak to a manager with each package. And the 3 packages that were finally found had more to do with the kindness of my neighbors not the "efforts" of USPS. If you live in Apache Junction find a different service for important packages and pay your bills online. read more

I put 4 boxes addressed to my Aunt in Puerto Rico. They were all put in the Kiosk on Wednesday evening. The first box I put in gave me a receipt for delivery on Saturday. The next 3 boxes were put in the Kiosk and package chute an hour later. I got receipts for all 4 boxes with the same ZIP CODE. The other 3 were for Monday delivery. Spoke to my Aunt and received the 3 boxes that were delivered on Monday. One of which was delivered on Saturday. So today is 5 days later, and the first box that stated will be delivered on Saturday is still missing. I used the wonderful TRACKING assistant on the website and I get :"forwarded to facility in Apache Junction for wrong zip code " I get nothing in the mail that says my package needs further attention at the station. I ask myself.... How would 4 of the same packaged boxes with the same address to the same person put in the mail chute on the same day? How would one of them not be able to be delivered and be lost in space in Apache Junction? Of course you ask.... Did you use the USPS pre-marked boxes for priority 3 day delivery? Why yes... I did.... So the wonder for all of us here....... How could we expect the government to take care of our health care needs or our money we paid into the system for retirement when 1 of 4 boxes couldn't even make it to the plane to reach its destination? No we can't expect our needs to be taken care of when small boxes get lost, after paying for them. Not a worry on collecting your money without any problems... But to actually do something useful with your money... think again!!!! I will now go to private package shipping places... at least you can get your money back if something happens out of their control. Go figure.. What a concept. read more

I send 10 plus packages daily for my business, Sometimes the packages are checked in and are sent in transit... but not all of them. Often there are 1 or 2 packages that are held back for some reason (neglect?). Which is strange because I drop them off at the same time. ALSO, equally stange, I drop them off at the same time 2:00pm, but they aren't scanned until way after 5. The Crismon and Southern USPS scans within 20 minutes of drop off. read more

5 times the carrier has delivered my packages either on my motorcycle or the hood of my truck. My front porch is less than 3 feet away from my vehicles. This being in clear sight of the street to where anyone can walk right up and take. I've tried to contact them, and I just get put on hold and then disconnected. The last time this happened, my husband saw the carrier put the package up against the back tire of my bike. When he tried to stop the carrier and ask if they could walk the extra 3 feet to the porch, the carrier took off. This is completely unacceptable, and just proves complete laziness. It's not that difficult to put a package on the front porch by the front door where it is supposed to be. Vehicles are NOT a place for deliveries. read more

Went there to drop off a package, which already had a label and they wanted 50 cents for insurance fee. I told them it already has insurance, then they said it was a handling fee. I have went to many drop places and have never been charged a handling fee. I asked another postal drop off place and they said they are double dipping. They already get 80 cents for the dropped of package and then the want to charge another 50 cents. NOT GOOD !!!! To greedy for me, esp. when I can go down the street and drop it off for free. read more

I mailed a certified letter on May 3, 2017, from the USPS location at 1900 W Carla Vista Dr. Chandler, AZ 85224. It arrived at the USPS location 151 W. Superstition Blvd, Apache Junction, AZ 85120 on May 9, 2017, at 7:45 AM, and it is still sitting at this location, apparently waiting to be delivered. Seriously??? Today's date is May 11, 2017. It takes six days to go from Chandler, AZ 85224 to Apache Junction, AZ 85120, and then the item just sits for two more days, and who knows when it will actually be delivered. I have tried calling THREE different numbers, and sending an email TWICE, to find out when this letter may be delivered. I am told my tracking number doesn't exist by the USPS phone system. And, their email system has been unavailable since I first tried on Friday, May 5, 2017, when I couldn't get accurate tracking information from the USPS Website. Is it any wonder the general public perception of the USPS is a negative one? read more
