Brian is your top guy! I went to pick up an item on hold, and mail from the prior day Sunday, it hadn't been sorted out yet. After 30 min he finally found it, he was so patient and willing to help without it sounding like a burden. For him taking his time on a Monday, I'm taking the time to commend him. They said, I typical am served by an older lady who is not the nicest. I've also witnessed her be rude to other customers. So I always hope I am not called by her to be honest. The older lady working there is one of the stupidest people to have ever been employed in the world. A package was mis dropped off and noticed maybe 10 minutes later so I had my assistant go ask for it back to which she said "UPS has already picked it up this happens all the time" that's a complete and utter lie as the package (which is a clients gold and diamond ring) is now sitting at a plant that they so conveniently have no contact with. This USPS building is conveniently located off of South Arizona Avenue in south Chandler. I see that some have left poor reviews with derogatory statements. I don't believe the poor reviews are warranted for this locations. I have never had any problems at this site. It has always been clean, not trashed, and never smells bad. I've been to a few that I couldn't wait to run out of. I have always received excellent customer service from the employees. This will remain my preferred location! read more

I don't like to write bad reviews but when the experience is so bad I have to. I had to send some documents to my health insurance which was not on priority. Upon reaching the post office around 3:30pm it was nearly empty. I checked with one of the guys for a mail saver because I didn't want to spend on something which was not so important. He suggested I use their mail envelope and send it through least priority and the whole thing would cost about $3. By the time I sealed the documents the man left so I was attended by Juan. He said the least mail I have to choose is $4.5 and I could clearly see on the screen that there was an option of $1.5 I knew he was cheating me but I didn't say anything (which now I repent). So, the whole thing costed me $6.5 Whereas the other guy quoted $3. It's not about the money here but the honesty, misleading details and lie. He did try to sell me insurance coverage and stamps too which I politely said no to. This has been haunting me all evening that he tried to cheat me which is not right. I hope this review helps other customers to be cautious and careful. read more

You try to call and not a single person picks up the phone, you will be waiting in line, hear the phone ring and ring and ring and ring. Not a single employee answers. Never emptied their drop off bins 9 times out of 10 you can't use the drop off bins. Then when you stand in line to drop them off to a person the person tells you, you can use the drop off bins. Also every package that has been lost has been mailed out of this office. It rarely makes it to the phoenix sorting facility then you have to deal with the rude employees who act as if it's your fault your package is lost. read more

I had been noticed by the new residents at my old address that I had a letter than needed to be picked up, I went in with my ID to see if I could pick it up I believe it was a manager that helped me but she wasn't able to find anything said I could come back with a tracking number for them to double check. Well by the time I was able to pick up the notice it was 1:35pm I ran in and the same lady recognized me and let me in and they were able to locate the letter so happy they were able to let me in after hours since it was a final notice. read more

Outstanding service from this branch of the US Post Office. As a test, on a Saturday I mailed a payment for my credit card bill that was due the next Thursday and also scheduled an electronic payment through my bank. The payment I mailed was credited to my account the next day (on a Sunday!) while the electronic payment, scheduled for Monday, was credited on Monday. I don't know how they did it but delivery locally (Chandler to Phoenix) was one day. USPS was excellent. Also, I experienced excellent service at the counter. This is, without a doubt, the worst post office I've experienced. They have lost 5 pieces of mail. They also do not knock or ring the doorbell to drop off a parcel. Candice was the rudest customer agent I've ever spoken to. I tried rescheduling a delivery but she refused. I was already told by another agent that I could get my package redelivered but needed to send the request to my local USPS office. I called and Candice kept snapping at me and giving me answers like "I'll tell my carrier" but never submitted the request even though it could be done! I'm not sure what stick was up her butt but I was able to do the redelivery myself through the online portal. Therefore she didn't try to do her job since my package could be redelivered. read more

Earlier this week, I was in need of shipping a package. So I made my way to the USPS hoping to get my package prepared and shipped in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't get what I hoped for. As soon as I arrived, I spent countless minutes trying to find a box to fit my shoes in(what I was intending on shipping), but found out there were none that fit. I then made my way up to the long line and waited patiently. As 15 minutes had passed, I was being helped by some grouchy lady. She was very short with her conversation, but managed to take 10 minutes to find an appropriate box. She then ordered me to either go buy tape or come back to have my package delivered. Knowing myself, I wasn't going to spend money on tape I would use once. Thankfully, someone else in line overheard my dilemma and offered tape for me to borrow. After I struggled trying to get the box taped, I waited in an even longer line than I did previously. As more time passed by, I was at the front again with the same lady. She was short again with me because I forgot my shipping label and she sent me back to the line. Finally, after 25 more minutes of waiting in line and being helped my package was finally delivered and i was on my way home. Due to my experience, that is why I'm rating USPS poorly. read more

Your package was put in the wrong bin so it was sent to the wrong state - covid, USPS no longer does call backs - covid, we can open a case and escalate the matter but not contact you even though they are required to - covid. This has been my post office for 4 years. Every single time I have gone in to this station, regardless of which employee I am talking to, they are universally surly and unhelpful, as if it is an imposition to expect them to do their job. Today I found out why. I was having a polite conversation with the station manager, whose name is Candace. I was NOT lodging a complaint of any kInd yet she treated me like I was not fit to be on the bottom of her shoe. I was truly shocked at how nasty and condescending she was when I was simply asking about the location of my mail. With her as an example of how to mistreat people, it is no wonder that everyone in the place has such a rotten attitude. They bring me damaged boxes. They lose checks mailed to me. They continue to re- direct my mail pieces to other locations in the valley AFTER it arrives at the correct zip code USPS location. Delaying delivery! OMG STOP IT WILL YOU? Are you all drunk at this location? Prove me wrong. And don't cry to me about how many pieces of mail you handle daily. This post office is incapable of hiring much less managing competent people to deliver mail. Within the past 3 years, numerous articles of my mail have not been delivered. If it's not a business document it's a new credit card, a check, a marriage license or a package. It is also sadly ridiculous to say neighbors who receive a piece of mail belonging to another neighbor can't be bothered to deliver it to their house or at least put it in the post office mailbox for a second chance in the hopes it is correctly delivered. Every time I have asked to speak with a postmaster or other supervisor, it is someone different. That tells me they can't keep a person in that position. They ask for a tracking number. Who has a tracking number for any of the above mentioned with the exception of the package, which when they show delivered and you say not to my house, they say "Oh well". And OBTW, they do have several rude people working there. No matter how you offer pleasantries and smile, they only have a scowl for you. Pathetic government!! read more
