This post office has consistently gotten worse over the years The use of the PO Box here is hit or miss I've had several checks come and over the past three months two checks were sent to me and the post office returned back to the sender stamped with undeliverable. Beyond incompetent! Sent my Christmas cards out thru this post office. They ran all my envelopes backwards and upside down. Returned all of them stating no stamp was on them. Over 40 envelopes. I even bought my stamps from this same post office weeks before. Over 40 cards, over 40 stamps, my time, my gas! I took these to the post office and handed them to the clerk. Even going back to the post office and showing them their mistake they refused to take them back, saying I must redo everything. It's your job to mail our envelopes. This Post Office is easy to get to but often has long lines. The drive through dropoff box is easy to use. The clerks are competent, efficient courteous and friendly. Traffic in the parking lot is often backed up by the traffic light at the exit. read more

Clueless... this is the third year in a row that I've tried to forward my mail and they never get it right. It doesn't matter if I do it online it doesn't matter if I fill out paperwork in person they just cannot figure it out. I TRY to forward my mail in the summer and every summer, three years in a row, it just goes missing.... I absolutely despise having to come to this post office. Not only is the parking lot too small for the volume of customers they serve but the staff is SLOW and could care less about explaining anything. Their philosophy is: if you don't know to ask...too bad. I came EARLY (8:45am) to this post office. The line was out the door and the SMALL parking lot was completely full. Once they opened at 9AM you'd think the line would move fast. NOPE! The older woman that works the counter took 3x as long as the younger lady that was running back and forth to collect held mail in the back. The older lady didn't greet me, acted like she couldn't read, spent an ungodly amount of time reading the computer monitor, and didn't go over options with me for signature/insurance/etc. When I asked to add signature confirmation she stared at me blankly. A couple of times she looked around like she didn't know where she was. She should be retired, not working the desk at a very busy USPS. Shame on you USPS for not having more staff working this busy post office. read more

Sadly, when we're in Arizona, this is the closest post office because never seem to have a good experience with them. The line is out the door sometimes it's not even the holiday season. spent over an hour on phone with someone who could hardly speak English or understand English trying to resolve a package that claims it was delivered to a partial pick up, but did not give me the address. I called the United States post office one,800 number along with the local number numerous times and got absolutely zero answers. USPS is like so many other big companies, and has become a complete, dysfunctional organization with zero customer service. I highly recommend using any delivery system other than USPS. read more

This branch has to be the most unhelpful branch I have ever been to. All of the clerks behind the desks look as miserable and unhappy as a human can possibly be, and I swear it is their mission to make sure your experience is as well. The lines are always long as they move as slow as snail snot, so you get to watch customer after customer walk out fully irritated. Been my experience every time there. Approximately 15 to 17 of the parking spaces always taken are by postal employees as evidenced when you go in there at 5 o'clock and the customers are gone. The dirt lot has been closed off and parking is practically impossible to get. And for the past month, even though I am shipping priority mail, the packages are not even being scanned until the following day or even second day after I drop them off during post office hours. This is totally unacceptable and it is starting to affect my business. I have filed a complaint And will start driving the extra distance Santan post office in hopes of better service.L obviously, this post office needs to expand and higher more people. I am not giving any stars to judge. I wish people knew like other companies cut back on staff. You are an employee ; its not your fault. Years plus years ago my father was a carrier. Besides a mountain of other issues when he was close to retirement they harassed him constantly criticized his work. They pushed him so hard to quit. He hung in there. This review is a bit overdue but I wanted to write a review of the place anyway. This post office processes shipping for packages quickly and efficiently. I have used this post office before and I had a good experience with them. The service they provide is fast. Also very friendly even on the phone when I called to ask a question about their business hours. My package that went through here arrived to the recipient in excellent condition and a bit sooner than expected. This is a good post office to use if you are passing through the area and need to ship an item to somebody. I would recommend it. read more

Just wanted to say thank you to all the employees there at that location and the one in AJ. You're always delivering to and interacting with some of the most difficult types of people that lack common sense and any form of understanding whatsoever! As a regular shipper I'm there at either location 2-3 times almost every week. I have witnessed firsthand on numerous occasions the outrageous sense of entitlement and idiocy to put it as kindly as possible, that comes from inept people. Some can't possibly fathom why they can't ship a gallon of gas in a milk jug, why they keep getting one of their children's mail still after they moved out (hint: they named all seven of their kids Darrell and the other six still live at home), or my absolute favorite I hear all the time is they don't know how to put their parcel locker key in the -corresponding- parcel locker(the one under your door isn't automatically yours!!....) and then come in and create a public spectacle when everyone there at the Post Office doesn't drop everything and all drive out to immediately try to fix the Ding-Dongs mess in front of me because they've nearly broken the key off in the wrong lock... I've been going to both locations for years and I feel like I've heard it all! People - we are all trying to do something there so - Please - wake up and use some basic thinking skills, common sense, and for heavens sake just have a bit of --patience-- when you're interacting with a front line worker anywhere! read more

Today, the parking lot was full, four cars waiting for people to leave, which is bad because there is only one way in and out; the over flow dirt lot is 100s of yards from the post office entrance. Inside there were 22 people in-line a head of me. So I went to the lone self service kios; I just learned how to do this as it generally has a shorter line. But today when I scanned my packages a warning that the machine could not give me a receipt! It ask if I wanted to go forward? With the lone person on the counter, I gave up and drove to the PO on San Tan boulevard. They had plenty of parking and a person (not stressed) to greet me and receive my packages as quick as I could turn around. (I would still be standing in the Ellsworth PO. Now if I could just get the mail person to not put my neighbors mail in my mailbox? read more

I have spent days trying to get a hold of a human to report a parcel locker that will not open. The key goes in, but it won't turn. It needs maintained and no one will do anything about it. The number will just hang up on you. How are we supposed to get our packages out of a parcel locker that won't open. read more

Third time in a year they mark a package as delivered and it's not in the box nor is there a key. If you read other reviews, it's the same thing. I am going to put trackers in my packages and mail things to myself. This way we can correct their incompetence or hold someone accountable if they are stealing. You have been warned usps. You will be held accountable. Also, noticed a pink haired mail woman talking on a phone with someone and had a profanity laced personal call all I heard was "like f*** you this is your mother f****** job" like 1. I thought the usps employees cannot be on personal calls when doing their job, and 2 through the usps employees get fired for stuff like that... She also set mail in top of a box, forgot about it, and it fell on the ground and she drove off. Attached is an image of it just on the ground. Unbelievable. Also: parking is lacking, but if you look at satélite images and look at the areas behind the fence, it only shows 1/3 of their lot back there being used and it's HUGE! They should open a part of it to the public, it's obvious they are not using it. read more

Employees were super rude, not helpful when someone was in need, dismissive, and one just disappeared without explanation despite the line being almost out the door. Long lines and rude staff. Failed to correctly deliver package to the intended address, lost package for a week, refused to acknowledge they lost it so I could make a claim or get a refund, and tried to shift blame to another mail service. Staff even argued that it was not with them even when tracking clearly showed the package was with their postal service location. Although a supervisor finally found my package their location, I am disappointed at the overall lack of good customer service at this Queen Creek location. read more

The worst post office I've been to. I live a minute away so this is the closest one to me and I try my absolute best to avoid it since the staff is rude and clearly hate their own job. The reps are nice but the service is horrible. Sent a package on a prepaid return label. Had seven days to make return. After it didn't arrive I was told the tracking number was invalid. I called the 800 USPS number and the package is still at the Queen Creek location. Unbelievable. read more

The worst service ever!!! Do not recommend going to the Post Office on Ellsworth!! First off, I got there early and was waiting in the lobby, this a-hole opens the doors, which I was standing in front of not knowing that was the door he was going to come out of out of the blue, and he hits me with the door! I was mortified!! He didn't even say sorry or anything! He said "Not a good place to stand!" I was in such shock that he didn't even say sorry!!! Worse post office EVER!! spoke to two people about my mail. The older guy seemed like he didn't know what he was doing then proceeded to do things in the back. I saw him throwing packages into another bucket. We asked to speak to a supervisor and her name is lilith? I'm not sure how to spell it but she is super rude and didn't let us speak and when we were able to she didn't get anything we were saying and spinning the conversation. Proceeded to explain it AGAIN!! she didn't help at all, then she staired at us for 2 whole minutes silent. read more

I ship over 5000 packages a year through this post office. They have yet to lose one. The front line service folks are great to deal with. One critique would be to empty the drop bin carts more often. read more

The thing I hate the most about this post is I know mail carriers that take this job very seriously. But for the 15th time this month and countless times since living here and having one of those stupid boxes I keep getting my neighbors mail. I feel like I should be paid to deliver their mail to them instead of just throwing it back In the box (only because I understand the importance of the mail system). I can only imagine the mail I haven't received because they continue to do this and the relationship I don't have with my lazy neighbors in my neighborhood. I am going to start calling every post master that will listen to me and file everything I can against this office until someone either reaches out to me and fixes this or I die. Last year, I ordered a Christmas decoration that "they" said was delivered. However, I never received it. After doing some investigation on it, I found out that "they" can say delivered, and you have no recourse and you will never see your package, and there is nothing you can do about it. So if you order something, get the insurance on it, or else you will be SOL like me. What a way to run a business, no responsibility. read more
