It works for me. Occasionally have to ship eBay items. This isn't my favorite one, because it's very busy. Then again when you consider the area, that's going to cause this. Lots of people, and traffic on adjacent route 7. Parking can be a headache. Once in though, their rates are competitive. They are less than the other companies. Inflation is part of the equation. There can be lines. That's life in the big city. Friendly employees make a difference here. When I'm in the area, this has worked out ok. read more

This post office is a good option if you're in Seven Corners and need to drop off a pre-paid package. They have a spot on the counter for those drop offs. If you're looking for full service, it might not be your best bet. It seems to be relatively low staffed, plus they close from 2-3 daily for a lunch break. There seem to be a steady stream of patrons at peak times (like late afternoon), but it's pretty empty midday. It's convenient that this location is in the same shopping center as a UPS store. Personally, I tend to do a double visit, returning Amazon items via UPS and depositing USPS mail/packages at this post office. read more

I have had multiple issues with this office. The latest issue that threw me for a loop is they close and lock the doors so I can't get to my PO Box on Saturdays and Sundays! What is the point of offering PO boxes (at crazy prices) and not allow people to access them whenever they want! Either staff the office on Saturdays and Sundays or close the location and transfer all boxes to the location in baileys crossroads. It is terrible that I can't get to my packages because the doors are locked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst post office I've been to ever!! read more

Slow. Slow. Slow. I guess the slower you work, the fewer customers you need to see. The fewer customers you see, the less you actually have to interact with other humans. The best part were the three smoke detectors low on battery power that chirped the whole time. Horrible! Just Horrible! Both employees are the rudest two individuals I ever encountered! If you want to experience how it is treated when someone loathes you for no reason - please enter! (I think it might be a tactic of the employees to reduce their workload... ) I have only been twice but will never return! First time not only were they not helpful, but I think I actually was overcharged! I ended up paying over 60 dollars for two small packages, and 3 letters. I was actually shocked! Since I am a USPS customer for 16 years now! I was asking if the prices went up, and didn't even receive a reply from the male employee! I was thinking that maybe he doesn't speak English... The second time was two minutes before 2 pm and I entered already into a loaded situation with other customers. Two other customers where there. I was witnessing how one of them received no help and was treated with contempt! The second one witnessing the incidence told the female employee that he wanted to speak with her supervisor (because she was barking at him that it is two minutes to 2pm & he needed to hurry) and told her she is rude.She said she is the supervisor and started yelling how she was going to call the police! That customer left and I witnessed her slamming the mail violently in anger! Absolutely unprofessional and I am never returning again! I really hope the post office does something about this office because in 16 years I never have come across such atrocious behavior at a post office (frequent mailer!) Worst post office we've been to ever!! Hubby was there before 4pm to mail a package for Canada. He was given a customs form to fill out and while doing so the manager himself came up to him saying he has to come back another time as it is already 4pm and they have to close.....are you kidding me right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the so-called manager and the least you could have done especially during Christmas time is to be considerate and accommodating to a customer who was already inside the premises even before the strike of 4pm. You actually kicked a customer out just bec. you couldn't spare us a few minutes?! You don't deserve to be a manager! USPS needs to hire more people especially in managerial positions, who are competent and have excellent interpersonal skills. This guy is a joke!!! read more

All I can say is rude and unprofessional. You ask questions and you get the rolling of the eyes. By far the worst customer service.

The main issue I had with this branch, an elderly Asian associate, I do not recall his name, assisted me today. I had purchased postage and wanted a receipt for pre posted packages that I was dropping off, which I've done at multiple branches before. He stated he couldn't do it because he didn't want to scan all of them in, there were 10. So upon hearing this, I tossed the packages (they were envelopes) into the box set up for pre posted packages. He demanded that I handed them over to them after the fact. But I had already put them in the box so I said it was fine. He then felt the need to announce to his coworker and the whole store that he refuses to pick up those packages for today's shipment and that he won't let them go out until tomorrow, which is ridiculous, but I'll deal with it. I then paid for the one stamp that I needed for my other unposted letter, he then promptly threw my receipt at me and continued to announce to the store and his coworker about how he refuses to mail out my packages today. Which is unnecessary and rude. Basically, I'm afraid he might tamper with my packages and see to it that they don't get delivered correctly. I'm never using this branch again and go will be using merrifield all the time, I regret going to this one that was closer to my commute this one time. read more

I recently moved to Falls Church, and this is the closest post office near my house. I regularly mail packages and usually print my shipping labels from home. My laser printer was acting up, so I went to this location on Friday. While it's a hassle to get to, there is plenty of parking, and there are other distractions (Home Depot, Michael's, Shopper's, Barnes & Noble, and Tiffany's Bakery, to name a few) to make up for the annoyance of going through Seven Corners. The reason for 2 stars? I found this post office to be more for the customer who prefers a face-to-face interaction versus the more self-reliant ones. There's no Automated Postal Center, which is my fault, because I should have checked USPS' website beforehand. I wanted to send an item via Priority Mail Small Flat Rate. There were no Small Flat Rate boxes available, so I had to wait in line to request one. Instead of just giving me the box, the post office clerk weighed my item to let me know how much it was going to cost, which is silly because Small Flat Rate is a set price. Unless the item is ridiculously heavy, the price is going to be the same! She tried to package my item for me, and said it wouldn't fit. I packaged my item myself and got it to fit perfectly. Then I waited in line again. Luckily, it wasn't busy when I came, otherwise I would have been frustrated. This is normally a 5-minute errand and it ended up taking a lot longer than I anticipated. The staff were friendly, so if you are new to shipping packages and are looking for a bit of hand-holding, then maybe you would have a better experience here. Also, they put extra tape on my package, which other post offices won't do for Priority Mail packages (they usually don't like you using a lot of tape on the small flat rate ones). It's only open Mon-Fri from 8:30-2 and 3-5pm and are closed on Sat/Sun. Last pick-up is at 5pm. read more

Not very friendly, but the worst is their hours: Closed 2pm-3pm!! That's not lunch; that is a siesta. Also closed weekends. None of their materials are available during that time, so if you come then you must come back. I avoid this place if possible. read more
