Unfortunately we all still have to use the Post Office but it doesn't mean they get a good rating. You can commonly expect waits in excess of 20 minutes to pick up a package. You may be thinking, maybe they are short handed, but there in the back will be as many as 4 other people unwilling to come to the counter to assist the sole clerk. This location is poorly managed and most of the staff have the attitude "I'd rather be somewhere else". read more

They closed my PO BOX for about two days, I was waiting for my debit card. The verification paper arrived about a week and a half ago and today when I checked I got the withdrawl/deposit booklet, so I'm wondering where's my card???? I believe that they have misplaced my mail although I am not sure. Other times I have came to this establishment a lady was very rude while attending us we had to pull out an ID and she told the other person to come up even though we already had it out by then. read more

I read the review of the previous yelper, but I have only had great experiences thus far with the Dillon Post Office ... these guys have gone above and beyond to "rescue" packages sent by Amazon that were undeliverable (USPS doesn't deliver to my condo in Keystone) and slated to be returned to sender. They could have easily done nothing and let Amazon deal with it, but they spent time and energy to help me out and I am grateful. They've also been great to help me set-up a PO Box and have been overall, friendly, helpful people. What else can you ask for from the USPS? I am a satisfied customer. read more

These people have the worst attitudes. If you live in the town of Dillon and have a p.o. box you pay for, you may never see your mail. Package deliveries, well, forget about it, the game they play is that they just send it back if that label isn't to their exact specifications. But, in their defense, they do not have enough help. Solve this problem. read more

If I could give this badly run post office a negative rating, I would. It is ridiculous that the post office as a whole is still in business. It should be shut down and let the real delivery companies like FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc do the work. A bunch of rude, incompetent, entitled and unprofessional people work here. They've lost my deliveries twice already in less than 2 months and really could care less. They literally told me both times to just reorder it because they "can't track everything." Seriously!!! I tried to call the main post office HQ number. Good luck with that, more clueless idiots work there. I also watched them dismissed this lady who was questioning why she's only getting 1 out of the 2 pieces of the same order but yet they logged it as received. She was yelling back at them when they got really nasty then just told her it's probably on the back but not logged in yet. But yet they can't provide her any reassurance that she will ever get the other piece. Again, can't emphasize enough, this place and the entire post office system need to be shut down! It is a joke and a waste of taxpayers' dollars. read more

Simple thieves who wont help you beyond, "Im sorry maybe corporate can help you." I had two iPhones sent to my PO box but when the package came it had a razor blade slit in the top (taped together very poorly) and only one phone in the package. I was told "maybe the package got torn in the shipping process." YEAH TORN OPEN BY ONE OF USPS'S EMPLOYEES. read more

I still have frustrating experiences here at this post office, but I'd like to give credit where credit is due and the new Post Master at this branch is so incredibly wonderful, and she's working hard to change your experience there. Cindy has been helpful on more than one occasions tracking down my packages, if you live here you know what I'm talking about. She also always answers the phone (which never used to be answered) and does it with a smile. I love that she is working hard to solve problem along side all of us, instead of shrug her shoulders and say not my problem. Thank you Cindy for all of your efforts!! read more

I am hoping someone reads this from this office just for the mere fact that I am appalled for how your staff treats people. I know it's a post office but we are still paying customers...and human beings. I've been coming here for years and using your services for personal mail and a local business owner and I just don't understand why the majority of your staff are always so rude and just plain mean sometimes. Besides the fact my account/box has been closed several times for no reason (I do renew on time), I am mainly disappointed with how this office treats people. This is just one example, but I walked in about 5:10 the other night and honestly didn't know you were already closed as I just got in the line to pick up my package. Instead of letting me know the office was closed, they let me stand there for 10 minutes and when someone else walked in and asked nicely if he could renew his box, they screamed that they were closed. So I wanted to verify that even though I had been in line, could I pick up my package. They then screamed at me that they had been closed for 15 minutes. I actually had to raise my voice, and say. Woah, you can stop yelling now. I get that they get rude people but it was completely uncalled for and really upset me as I asked in a very nice tone and did not deserve to be screamed at. This is definitely not the first time by any means they have been rude here...this time it just really bothered me. I get that they didn't want to stay late (God forbid), but they can let us know a little nicer. I work in an industry that people are constantly complaining and rude but I would never treat a person the way that they continually do. I doubt this review is going to make a difference but I thought someone should know how bad many of us are treated day in and day out. I really try to come in with a smiling face and make jokes to make their day brighter (as everyone always seems to be angry or in a bad mood) and this time I thought it best not to stay quiet. Thank you in advance for hearing me out. read more

Pathetic customer service. Kelsey is one of the most rude people I have ever come into contact. Had an attitude with me from the second I walked through the door, obviously because she doesn't want to actually work at work. She could not make it any more obvious how much she hates her job, and even more so how little she cares about anybody who comes through those doors. She berated me because I shipped with UPS to the location and that I could've "done better" choosing my shipping. Also wanted to argue with me that I should've just had it shipped directly to me address.... which is not possible because of my location in the mountains. Hence the reason for me obtaining a P.O. box.... she's a know it all. I asked for the managers information, and Kelsey refused to give it to me. Real class act. Avoid this post office at all costs. I purchased a P.O. box here recently because I had no choice. I'll 100% be looking for a refund or transfer to a different location. read more
