License to steal? "Missing" mail goes unanswered for. USPS Consumer relations and media person all connected and do nothing. If your mail goes "missing" even if it is insured they can literally steal it by giving you way less than what it is worth or insured for. You have no recourse. Consumer relations person, Brenda in Denver, the so called consumer help person, and media person, James, apparently have no accountability. Brenda is the person Washington DC had contact me and the simplistic things she could have done to actually find my "missing/stolen?" mail, she/he didn't. These people just tell you to try to navigate a site that gives you error messages and waste valuable time in finding your "missing/stolen?" mail. They act with arrogance as If they know they can't be touched. It's almost as if they are part of a USPS/CONGRESSIONAL swamp. No action. Just talk and hope they frustrate you until you go away. Bottom line is they will get a paycheck and it seems they don't really want/care to find out what exactly did happen to my "missing/stolen?" mail. It seems they don't even want to entertain my "missing" mail might possibly have been stolen. Brenda just said, go ahead and contact your Congressman because she is done "talking" to me as if she knows they like her, won't do anything to actually find out what happened to my "missing/stolen?" mail. I got the impression from Brenda (consumer relations? Person) and James (media/congressional man?) To go ahead and contact your Congress person because we are untouchable and they won't do anything either.. As if to say go ahead, nobody can do anything to us for not finding out what happened to your "missing/stolen?" mail. This nightmare has opened my eyes to what appears to be that the USPS is just one big R.I.C.O., corrupt, organization that knows it power will never be challenged. You, the consumer don't really matter to the people who get paid to help you. You are just a pest and you should just shut up, let your valuable items be "taken" from you and be happy with the insulting reimbursement they deem you worthless for. If you value what you are sending, don't send it USPS. When I mentioned all the other people who wrote about how they thought employees stole their mail, Brenda seemed to make lite of it saying "people just do that" as if they are making it up.. Well, I am real, my 25 INCH 3 lb 12 oz machined aluminum riser could not have just vanished into thin air while in possession of the USPS and they act as if that is OK, and I am hear to say do not use USPS is you value your mail. USPS is not held accountable to anybody. Including you,, the taxpayer, whose hard earned tax dollars may be funneled to them. What a waste. What a bunch of corrupt arrogant buearacrats. Just another corrupt government entity where people get paid no matter what. If there is any Congressmen or Senators on any oversite committee for USPS, please don't ignore this. All these people who wrote these reviews are real and their mail has been "taken" from them without any accountability. Please help us!

40 minutes in line to pick up a certified letter they couldn't find. Fun!

After that, does anyone else in the universe really need to be abused by large, loud elderly white males? There were three elderly white males manning the desk tonight. Two of them may have been awesome. I got the one who had been yelling out to everyone exactly how to behave. It was a calm line, but he needed attention. I had 3 packages with computer printed labels on them: one for USPS and two for UPS. He deliberately and condescendingly informed me, moving the packages about and jabbing each label exclaiming that they were for UPS. "UPS NOT USPS" he continued to inform. I believed him from the get-go and calmly asked if they could take them anyway. (I know from experience that Fedex and UPS take anyone's packages graciously while informing you that they cannot give reciepts for packages with labels that arent theirs. These packages have always shipped correctly for me in the past, getting to their destinations on time.) This US postal worker leaned down on the desk dramatically and said, "I tell ya what. We have a bin back there, where we put mistakes from UPS and maybe they'll go out in a few weeks." Is this the level of service our country's postal service wants to convey? Why did that man want to be so vile? Please privatize the post office so cretins like that man will either shape up or be gone so they can no longer inflict their nasty selves on postal customers. Give UPS and FedEx additional and real competition. I usually use UPS because you're in and out relatively quickly and they happily mail fedex and USPS in a pinch. Tonight, I was once again reminded of why i dont like to go to this post office. Ive only visited it for a handful of emergencies in the 22 years I've lived in this town. Its best avoided.
