Jerry came to our home and provided an estimate after an in-person walkthrough. Communication…read moreseemed solid at first, and we felt comfortable moving forward. On moving day, we understood there was a possibility that two trucks might be needed. However, the crew insisted on trying to fit everything into one truck. They spent hours dismantling storage shelves in an attempt to make it work -- and we were charged for that additional time. Ultimately, they claimed extra help was needed, even though our belongings had not changed since the original walkthrough. Jerry brought in additional crew members without discussing it with us first, and we were charged extra for them as well. Of course two trucks ended up being needed as well and we were charged for that. Throughout the day, there was consistently at least one crew member standing around not working. They actually "ran out of time" and didn't finish putting together our beds or storage units. We offered to pay Jerry on the day of the move, but he declined and said he would send an invoice. When the bill arrived, it was thousands of dollars over the original estimate. We received it on a Sunday while we were at Children's Hospital with our newborn son. We responded the following day explaining that the charges were shocking and asking for clarification. We were met with zero empathy. Instead, we were told that because we had not paid within 24 hours, all of our "discounts" were being revoked -- increasing the total even further. We were also threatened with collections if we did not pay immediately. In the end, we agreed to a "best and final" settlement that was still far more than the service warranted. To make matters worse, my parents were planning a move shortly after ours and had contacted Jerry before our experience unfolded. After our dispute, Jerry texted my father directly, accusing me of lying and fabricating issues while praising his own company. This was incredibly unprofessional. Even our real estate agent -- who originally recommended him -- has since apologized and stated she will no longer refer clients to this company due to the lack of professionalism. From start to finish, this was an exhausting and deeply disappointing experience. One word: RUN.

The woman on the phone was super sweet and so helpful and courteous and said they would be able to do this for me. She got the pricing and gave me everything right up front. I was in. The pricing was fine for me. It's the 'need' I had that was being taken care of by them. All my information was received and as she was going through her process, she explained to me all things I needed to know. When all was setup and completed, she took my card and I added a tip because these people are doing me a great service. How relieved I was to find someone of this caliper willing to do this for me ... and setup an account so that I can continue to use their services. I was flabbergasted at that.
