Jerry came to our home and provided an estimate after an in-person walkthrough. Communication seemed solid at first, and we felt comfortable moving forward. On moving day, we understood there was a possibility that two trucks might be needed. However, the crew insisted on trying to fit everything into one truck. They spent hours dismantling storage shelves in an attempt to make it work -- and we were charged for that additional time. Ultimately, they claimed extra help was needed, even though our belongings had not changed since the original walkthrough. Jerry brought in additional crew members without discussing it with us first, and we were charged extra for them as well. Of course two trucks ended up being needed as well and we were charged for that. Throughout the day, there was consistently at least one crew member standing around not working. They actually "ran out of time" and didn't finish putting together our beds or storage units. We offered to pay Jerry on the day of the move, but he declined and said he would send an invoice. When the bill arrived, it was thousands of dollars over the original estimate. We received it on a Sunday while we were at Children's Hospital with our newborn son. We responded the following day explaining that the charges were shocking and asking for clarification. We were met with zero empathy. Instead, we were told that because we had not paid within 24 hours, all of our "discounts" were being revoked -- increasing the total even further. We were also threatened with collections if we did not pay immediately. In the end, we agreed to a "best and final" settlement that was still far more than the service warranted. To make matters worse, my parents were planning a move shortly after ours and had contacted Jerry before our experience unfolded. After our dispute, Jerry texted my father directly, accusing me of lying and fabricating issues while praising his own company. This was incredibly unprofessional. Even our real estate agent -- who originally recommended him -- has since apologized and stated she will no longer refer clients to this company due to the lack of professionalism. From start to finish, this was an exhausting and deeply disappointing experience. One word: RUN. read more

She had an accident recently and we were all off the place with our timeline and logistics and Jerry was so sweet. He followed up with us and went out of his way to help us. I recently purchased a Dinning Room Table from Arhaus. Jerry's movers moved the table into our home but managed to put a dent into our wall. This is a brand new home, in which we haven't been in for even a month. Jerry asked me to send pictures in which I did for him to come repair the dent. He stated he would be able to come by and make the repair but became unresponsive . Not only was he unresponsive but he did not show up to make the repair as he stated he would a week later after the damage, he stated he'd be by in the afternoon and never came. I had to continue to reach out and ask if he still intended on doing so still no reply. I can agree with the scheduling as well, he texts you like 20 mins out from your address and changes the date without notice. His prices are pretty pricey as well. read more

We just completed our 2nd move with Jerry and his team, and booked them again because we knew we could count on top notch service. Their level of care and attention to detail with unloading our first move into our new home in Denver were above and beyond as they helped us file an insurance claim against a different moving company who'd haphazardly loaded our truck in a different state resulted in a lot of damage to our furniture. Jerry took pictures of everything and his wife/business partner created a detailed report for us to submit to the other company. It was just so comforting and kind in a stressful and emotional moment regarding family furniture that we couldn't help but take note on what a great level of service RHD provides. So, when it came time for our next move, we obviously knew who to call and they did not disappoint this time around. A) it was just great to catch up with him because he definitely feels like a friend after you work with him, and B) he and his crew did a fantastic job loading up all of our stuff that when we unloaded it in our new home, everything made it unharmed. Even my much-beloved 7-ft tall fiddle leaf fig tree because they packed it in so nicely and made sure it was protected for the long journey (1000 miles). Finding reliable movers is worth its weight in gold so we give them a solid 10/10 and would use and recommend them again and again and again. :) read more

RH Delivery damaged household goods on my move from Colorado to California. They damaged or broke multiple picture frames, broke glass on several framed art pieces causing damage or ruin by scratching the underlying art, shattered a glass coffee table, cracked a wood bed castor mounting, cut leather upholstery, broke a statue, all among numerous other dings and damage. This is my seventh interstate move (first with RHD) and there was more damage to my goods than the other six COMBINED. And it gets worse - after the fact they informed me of their bare-bones insurance coverage, insurance far below that which is required BY LAW for interstate movers. I was assured verbally that Replacement Value insurance coverage was "not a problem". But when I asked for the forms for filing insurance claims, I was told it was "too late" and that 7 days was "common practice" for claims filing with interstate movers. From prior interstate moves, I knew that was not true - legally, the customer has NINE MONTHS to file a claim. It turns out all RH Delivery carries is $25,000 for a catastrophic truck incident and the minimal 60 cents per pound Released Value coverage. And they won't accept a claim after 7 days, ludicrous for a large household move! Both are violations of laws governed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (DOT); RH Delivery also has no DOT registration number, as required of interstate movers, and they have no Dispute Resolution Process or Arbitration Process, both required by law. RH Delivery also committed gross negligence on my move. They were tasked with packing, as needed, and then completely clearing and moving all goods from my Colorado house. The house was rented and I was shocked three weeks after the move to get notice from the landlord that I was being charged to clear items from the house, with pictures attached. Inexplicably, RH Delivery left numerous items behind - 2 Tumi suitcases; an upright vacuum cleaner and a carpet shampooer; clothing items; a portable A/C unit; bath towel sets; and more! Several thousand dollars of my goods that they failed to move. Sitting out, scattered throughout the house - they didn't even bother to walk the house to ensure they cleared it out, as they were hired to do. And they refused to take responsibility! They refused to accept an insurance claim! They even refused to acknowledge their error despite irrefutable photo evidence! An unfathomable lack of responsibility and sheer incompetence. RH Delivery does not understand the moving business . The day they were to be finished with my loading, at 2 PM I was told they would be pulling out at "4, latest 4:30". I had to leave Colorado the next morning and, at 10 AM, they were STILL loading. They had no clue on something that should be their expertise. RH Delivery delivered some of my goods to 2 storage units in California. They put those units under their own name and assured me it was no issue to get them switched to my name. Not so! They claim to have all of these units with Public Storage, but Public Storage has assured me they NEVER switch the customer names, and the RHD owner did not know that. I cannot use the Public Storage App for those units, I have to go in person to pay, I cannot send or receive messages related to the units, it is an untenable situation. I have requested, then demanded, that RH Delivery move the goods into new units in my name. No surprise, they refused! And they have the audacity to insist that they have fulfilled their obligation in delivering the units to storage, despite the storage being unusable. Packing and delivery were a mess - cables separated from their electronics, shelves separated from bookshelves, critical electronics (modem and router) packed in an unmarked box and buried, requiring purchase of new equipment. RH Delivery's owner will act like your best friend, full of confidence about getting everything done. Be extremely aware of RH Delivery. If you want to engage them, particularly for an interstate move, check their compliance with laws governing interstate movers on insurance (especially), claims, and dispute resolution. The quality of their moving and packing service was, in my case, quite poor with lots of consequent damage. None of their interstate moving services comply with FMSCA/DOT legal requirements. And my experience, at every turn, is they will refuse to monetarily settle for damage and situations that are 100% of their doing. All this while charging a premium price for their service! Their website boasts of a "100% satisfaction guarantee" which they have ignored. (BTW, the "suite number" on their website is a UPS box and the phone number is the owner's cell phone - they have no office). They take NO responsibility for their work product. I am being forced to deal with time-consuming and difficult measures to try and recover the many thousands of dollars that are owed me as a result of the incompetence and negligence of RH Delivery. read more

Jerry was very difficult to work with. prices were very high. He said he would take pictures of all items to be picked up and let me know a delivery time. Neither of those things occurred. Upon delivery 4 chairs were missing. I asked for the 4 chairs to be delivered any day up to 5 days later as we were moving in and had a deadline due to home projects that would interfere with a delivery any later. this deadline was acknowledged it not met. I had paid $399 for the items to be delivered and Jerry was very concerned about getting paid so he said I could hold back $10 for each chair. I had to cancel the delivery of the chairs as the deadline was not met. I asked for $100 refund to reimburse me for the additional cost of moving the furniture and the 4 chairs. This was rejected by Jerry. Anyway....buyer beware, high cost and poor service. read more

We hired RHD to move us from Colorado to Tennessee. Upon delivery in Tenn, they broke a large glass table that has been in our family over 40 years. Jerry told us he'd contact his office to get a claim filed. It's been 2 months and nothing. Then we just discovered that an antique table is missing. I sent their office a picture of the table, left 2 voice mails and no response. The phone number listed is Jerry's cell so the office never gets the calls. No way to file a claim, no communication. This is no way to run a business Jerry. And now we're out family heirlooms with no compensation. read more

Bravo to Jerry & Heather Hargrave for all the effort and planning for my move from Denver CO (two-bedroom apartment and storage unit at a different location) to Sarasota FL (a one- bedroom and storage unit at a different location). I considered other moving options, including using Moving Pods with my hiring helpers (cost savings did not outweigh RHD's one-stop shopping convenience) and Intercoastal Big -Van Movers (red-flags based on my last disastrous move from Denver to NYC). Jerry is a very experienced relocation specialist. RHD does provides a white glove packing service at a very affordable rate. If you pack your smaller goods yourself like I did, pay the $45 at Home Depot for the extra-large mirror-TVs box if needed, and use lots of good heavy-duty tape. Jerry's crew blanked and plastic wrapped my larger pieces. Moreover, pay for the better insurance offered with expensive furnishings since accidents could happen. My move went flawlessly; everything arrived in perfect condition including my car. read more

We hire Jerry to move us from Aurora Co to Queen Creek As. First of all, he is a broker and subs it out to someone else to do the work. Second, they didn't have a big enough truck so they left a bunch of stuff behind that we needed so we had to rent a storage u it $175.00 a month until we can find a way to get it to Arizona. Ridiculous!!! Third, half of our stuff was either broken or scratch so bad it needs to be replaced. Lastly, we paid extra for $10,000 in coverage but when we were ready to file the claim we could not get a phone or text back from Jerry to send us the paperwork to file the claim. Buyer be ware....i would not used this company unless you are willing to have your stuff destroyed. read more

We hired Reliable Home Delivery to move us from Longmont to Loveland. They arrived on time and quickly moved our personal goods to the truck. The crew was very respectful and careful with our boxes and furniture. At the new home they unloaded quickly and promptly placed the furniture and boxes in the rooms requested. When the move was done they made sure that we were satisfied before they left. What we thought might take most of the day was accomplished in half that time. We used RH for a move from CO to TX. Would warn other against using them. Jerry and team were generally nice and friendly, but he underestimated the size of the truck needed to move. Not too big a deal in the end, because he supplied additional trailers to accommodate. However, on receipt of our things in TX, we discovered many of them were damaged. Not the normal damage typical of a move, but some things with severe damage. One piece has an approx. 8" x 2" x 1/8" deep slab of wood ripped off the top. We contacted him with pictures to let him know. He then told us that we were going to need to get estimates to fix it all, and that he was certain that some of the damage was pre-existing. Well, first we don't have the means to hike a dozen pieces of furniture around to repair shops to get estimates. Secondly, several of the pieces were brand new pieces that HE DELIVERED TO US prior to the move; there was no pre-existing damage. After that contact, we didn't heard from him once, to "stay tuned". We've stayed tuned long enough; we've sent several emails asking him to resolve the situation with no reply. He was on-the-ball enough to bill us our second payment though, so good for him, I guess. Bottom line, if you want to spend a lot of money for someone to wreck your stuff and then disappear, "Reliable" Home Delivery might be the way to go. read more

The gentlemen who handled my long distance move was very polite and respectful. They kept to their schedule and everything was accounted for. Jerry and his crew are outstanding. We recently hired them (with very short notice) to help with a few pieces of furniture. We were having floors refinished and underestimated the work to move a few big pieces into our garage. Jerry was so responsive and helpful we hired his company to move everything back into house. Jerry can help with big and small moves:everything from from full house to rearranging between rooms. Extensive experience with furniture assembly also. Even moves upright pianos. RH also does moves and deliveries to mtn towns and out of state. Rates are extremely reasonable and his team took great care with our newly redone floors (would not wear shoes inside- took them off on every run!). Ordered a couch from Wayfair and Reliable Home Delivery was one of the choices you could designate as the local delivery firm. They contacted us the day after the couch arrived at their facility. We picked a delivery day that would work best for us. They called the day before the delivery to give us a four hour window... 9 am-1pm. They arrived about 11. Brought couch into our house, unpacked it and placed it where we wanted. Both men were courteous and worked quickly. No fuss and no bother..took the packing with them and it was completed within 20 minutes. They also helped move other furniture around the house. Couldn't have asked for more. I'm pleased with the delivery service and will use them again in the future. read more

Jerry and his crew were on time and incredibly professional, courteous, respectful, careful, and well prepared. They moved a very large, 411 pound item up a flight of stairs and into our home, using straps, a dolly, floor protection, and substantial padding, and even padded the sides of the doorway to completely protect it and the item. Jerry will absolutely make you feel like family. I've used multiple moving services over the years, but Jerry and his team are in a class by themselves. They are incredibly polite and it's obvious that they're very serious about the quality of their work. They make it look effortless, but it's just they they're masters of what they do. We've had two good experiences with Jerry and RH Delivery previously. However, what happened on March 4th this year will ensure I never use or recommend Jerry to anyone in the future. We contacted Jerry on March 2nd, notifying him that we had items for delivery, and after we agreed on a price he responded "we'll get you scheduled". I received no confirmation of a delivery day or time window, and no other correspondence or notification from him until mid-day on March 4th, when he texted "Headed your way" which gave us about a 45-minute advance notice. I did not receive this notice until several hours later, as I do not have access to my cell phone at work. Upon discovering no one was home to accept the delivery, Jerry put our items on the driveway, exposed, at risk of theft, in the sun, and then left. When we discovered what had happened hours later and tried to contact Jerry, he said that we would have been charged twice for delivery if he hadn't left them on our driveway, and that he could return in 5 days to move the items from the driveway into the house if we could not move them ourselves. I also tried to speak with him to address my frustration that we did not receive a delivery day or time window for this delivery in advance, and he became extremely defensive, raised his voice, and told me that he decided when his deliveries occurred and that he was 100% right to leave our items unattended and exposed on the driveway. His behavior was unprofessional and his decision to abandon expensive and heavy items was irresponsible as a business owner in delivery services. He eventually apologized to us, stating that he believed he was making the best decision (due to the duplicate delivery fee he would have charged), but he did not apologize for his behavior. Unfortunately I can not recommend using Reliable Home Delivery - you may not be treated well, and your items may be exposed to the weather and possible theft. read more

Mr. Jerry was always easy to get ahold of and prompt to get back to me on schedule changes. Very professional, fast and respectful crew. Crew came prepared to lay down blankets in order to protect carpet. No damage to walls or railings while moving items in tight spots. No damage to furniture or fragile items.
