This man was having a meltdown because... well who knows why. I will say Clerk #19 was very calm and gracious with him and he was a complete jerk. He had to step out of line to write an address and get his package in deliverable order. So he stood at a table huffing and puffing, while he abruptly tossed his package. Weirdo!!! All this to say the lady, clerk 19, held her composure and was gracious to a temper-tantrum-having-grown-ass baby.

Easy peasy! Drive up drop off! :)

I'm giving this a 5 Star because they have 3 mailboxes and you can just drive up and mail your stuff instead of getting out and walking into the post office because sometimes it can get kind of long lines and crowded. Thanks for Reading my Review ~Lizzie~

I used to work here and will continue to support it not to mention that it's the most economical way to send mail and packages.

Great service. The lines moves pretty fast too. It's better and faster than most usps around SF.

Friendly staff, and our passport agent went above and beyond to rectify a mistake made by a third-party passport service we had engaged.

Noreen was incredible, with customer service skills worthy of 10 stars!…read more When I got to her counter, she explained she couldn't use the color photo I'd spent over an hour and a half getting from across the parking lot at Office Depot Office Depot because the prints weren't cut evenly or even the same size. I couldn't believe I'd spent all that time there, and the young lady who helped me had set everything up on my phone, only for me to discover they didn't even have a printer app for what I needed. Upon approaching the FedEx Office printing section, I immediately realized I had chosen the wrong business compared to OfficeMax or Office Depot, as FedEx Office was arranged like a professional mini printing warehouse. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, trying to get it all done just one day before my son's big day, Class of 2026 graduation. Noreen was kind, helpful, and patient. She guided me through the process, and I was so relieved by her professionalism and the fact that she noticed I was exhausted. She was an absolute sweetheart, helping me figure out how to send the photos through the FedEx office photo app, and once I explained what I needed, she assured me she'd take care of everything from there. She gave me a price, and I said, "Okay, let me head back to Office Depot OfficeMax to get my refund so I can put it toward their fees." After returning with my refund from Office Depot OfficeMax, Noreen asked me to have a seat in their customer area while she worked on my photos--laminated, double-sided graduation keepsakes to wear around our necks for my son's graduation day. Noreen, thank you, my dear. You were a breath of fresh air during my time of frustration and exhaustion. By the time you finished, I was a truly happy customer, and the whole store knew it! FedEx Office in Colma, CA, is absolutely awesome, and I'm grateful to you for making my son's graduation extra special. I asked her to jot down her name, then told her manager and everyone else that I'd be writing a review guaranteed to get them all a raise, lol! When I grabbed my receipt this morning to write this review, I noticed Noreen had gone above and beyond for customer satisfaction by writing "Congrats!" with a heart replacing the dot on the exclamation point. Awwhhh, that's such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. #NOREENEMPLOYEEOFRHEYEAR2026;-))))))))

Not a fan of their new (well, not really new) shipping practices where they try and get you to use…read moretheir automated shipping system. The problem is that there isn't very much information provided when using that process. An example from today comes to mind. I'm shipping something that has an internal battery back to the manufacturer for repair. It doesn't seem to want to charge. When I went to use the automated check-in system, I was prompted to certify that my package didn't include hazardous materials. But, there isn't any information as to WHAT they consider hazardous. Because I wasn't sure if the battery in the package was considered hazardous, I decided to use the human based check in. The first words out of the person (who was female) who helped me's mouth was, "You know you could have used the automated check-in in." Not hi, not hello...but trying to drive me to that system. When I explained why I was going with human check in, her tone and body language were incredibly condescending. I felt like she was trying to chide me for wanting to ensure I followed their practices. I highlight this interaction because Neal and the team here have been my go to for some time both personally and professionally when I need something printed or shipped. I'm not going to change that, but I really wish they wouldn't treat people who want to be sure they are doing it right so poorly. It's not the first time I've had this challenge. This is why I decided to Yelp it. Customers should know what the experience will be like if you choose not to use their automated process.

Like many other dissatisfied customers, I have left negative reviews of Fed Ex & UPS, particularly the SSF warehouse of both. I've met a few of the drivers & they are very nice & work hard. After a bit of research, particularly international shipping, I found the problem with both companies. Given the choice, I will never use Fed Ex or UPS again, only USPS Priority. Here is the problem: CONTRACT WORKERS. Whether short staffed or to cut costs, both companies began using contract workers to handle the "extra" shipping duties. These 3rd party workers aren't even properly vetted as a regular fulltime UPS or Fed Ex worker would be. These random pick-up workers usually just drive around in unmarked cars & drop off much the same as UBER eats of Door dash would, with about the same results. Meanwhile, both companies cut costs & free up their regular delivery drivers. The problem is, they take NO RESPONSIBILITY for the loss, theft or destruction of our packages. These random contract workers have zero training, zero vetting & zero consequences. Meanwhile, the customer loses out & spends weeks or even months trying to locate our lost packages all so the greedy CEO class at the top can rake in larger profits. They don't care about us. They know the problem but as long as it continues to give them more money, they'll let it continue. Our only response is to not use any of these companies that don't care about the reputation of their actual employees or the welfare of their customers. The motto used to be "the customer is always right". Now it's "Who cares about the customer, just get their money". I won't choose Fed Ex or UPS for any shipping until they hire sufficient workers. Untrained, unvetted contract workers are destroying the reputation that these company drivers work hard every day to maintain. Shame on the bosses who undermine the customers & their own workers. When the regular trucks of both companies deliver packages, they are always great. The problem is these contract workers & the shifty attitude of the people who are supposed to try & help when a package is lost. They just waste our time with diversionary tactics instead of just identifying the problem & locating the item.

To start FedEx in general is difficult to deal with. The…read moretracking system for the packages gives you a vague understanding of where it is and when it will be delivered frequently, the update is "it's in transit" with no other explanation. The details on how it's getting from point A to point B used to be more detailed but now it's not. The customer service line tends to hang up on you rather than transfer you to a live customer service agent. It requires information that puts you into a different answer loop than actually transferring you to an agent when you want to talk to somebody, especially if you have a complaint. I personally had a very difficult time even finding the FedEx customer service number on their website. The delivery center in South San Francisco frequently does not deliver at the same day they get it even if they get it at 2 o'clock in the morning it probably won't go out until the next day and I don't understand why that happens with my packages. USPS is much more efficient delivering my packages in South San Francisco then FedEx. When I look at my USPS tracking and it shows that it had arrived at station early in the morning, like two or 3 o'clock in the morning, I know that I would be receiving it later on that day. My most recent experience with FedEx had them not send a package out to be delivered on a Saturday delivery and it was delayed till Monday. This delay was logged in about 8 o'clock in the morning but post timed till 11:30, almost to show that delivery was attempted, but their reason was the business was closed and they could not make that delivery. This was going to a UPS store that is open seven days a week. When I finally contacted the customer service line, they said that business indicated that the address it was going to belong to a business that was only open Monday through Friday. I have never had this excuse from USPS.
