Asthetics is not my priority of this place as long as they function as they should as a post office. With that said, their epic fail is sadly due to the poor customer service & lazy workers. I came here with an eBay package that already had postage. I went in line anyway to make sure I get a receipt to prove they got my package because I doubted their capability to properly store my package; that they won't lose it. I also wanted to make sure that the weight was ok as packing stuff might cause weight to go over the original scaled. Therefore, instead of just dropping the package, I decided to wait in their long hideous line. About a 45 mins later...a woman checks my package and prints me a receipt. She had it on the scale & said "it's ok". I doubled checked and said "everything is ok?" She said "yes you can go."... While she points to the door to exit. Days later package is delivered, I get an EXTRA CHARGE during Xmas for an additional $4-5 bucks saying that my package was overweight. What the F***? Is she highly challenged, incompetent or what??!! What's the point of her being there when she can't even do a simple task. Did she just stand there & daze...blatantly starring at the scale while in front of her my stamp says one weight, & the scale says another?? Why didn't she tell me then?? What the....F. What's the point of her putting my package on the scale??? What's the point of me wasting 45 mins in line paying for the parking meter for this?? How pathetic. The only reason I gave 2 stars is one good experience ...long time ago...with another worker that helped me double check my passport documentation for mailing before I sealed the envelope. This PO has really bad hours of operation. So I took a gamble and dropped off two packages to the blue bin in front of this PO. Guess what..both never scanned or got delivered to its destination. Sadly I can't be reimbursed bc it's first class mail. Also the local mail carriers here are just haphazardly sending packages to the wrong house. I had to drop off packages to my neighbor down the block bc they were miss delivered to my home. I noticed my mail is not dropped off daily but instead it's sent intermittently. Lastly, yesterday I was expecting a package and it said it was delivered at 7:30 am. The package was never delivered as I was home the whole day. Just this month, USPS lost 4 packages already. Just terrible. Small, crowded, understaffed, surly, no supplies are put out at all, tough to park. Your other Daly City options aren't great; but you'll be at least a bit better off at Westlake 2 miles away. Stay away from this one if you want to do anything more than drop something in the letter box. read more

When you can get to this post Office it seems OK I've had friendly service and indifferent service here ..so nothing to write home to Mom about. No love lost here. a It looks dirty and jacked up from the outside and not much better inside. You have to ask for priority envelopes and boxes rather than having them readily available. This post office is definitely not in the best conditions and the workers aren't of the best mood either. However, it always fulfilled my needs so I cannot really complain. My family always had a post office box at this location due to how close it is to our home so I am used to the terrible hours and long waits in line with only one clerk there to help. There was one instance that they marked one of my packages as delivered and sent it to westlake center for some reason. I guess one of the workers had made a mistake. I panicked since the contents of the package were pretty expensive and It was VERY difficult to find out its whereabouts since the post Office workers weren't very helpful. One of them yelled at my father, too even though we were very calm. But then again, I'd be pretty moody if I worked in that crumbhole. Upkeep isn't a thing here and they do not restock their shelves so you have to go to them if you need any forms. This place will definitely get the job done but don't expect quality if you go here! read more

I haven't been here in awhile. Since maybe last year or so.. But the new guy I don't recognize is horrible. He doesn't really ask much and just runs the whole shipment for me. He explains half of the stuff that I've never heard of before that are quite new to me. I just don't know what I'm paying for anymore. Horrible customer service. An older Asian lady was the only one working and would not print out a receipt for me to track my package. I was mailing out a package that already came with a free return label. I have mailed back MANY packages that come with free return labels and I have never had a problem getting a tracking receipt. The lady told me, " we don't print receipts for labels that we don't print" or something like that. There was a long line behind me so I assumed that she was just trying to keep the line moving. I was in no mood to argue with her as I just wanted to leave already. She also didn't have enough change in the register for the person in front of me and was giving him attitude about that. It's not the customer's responsibility to have exact change. I will never come here again. I wish I read the reviews before coming here since they all seem to be about the lack of proper and adequate customer service. read more

This place deserves 0 stars if there was an option for it. I came to this branch to pick up a package that should have been waiting for me but it has gone missing. The asian lady that works the front counter did not take the initative to contact else where to locate the missing package. She told me to call the main office - O'sullivan ave in daly city. I told her that I have tried with no luck, but she still won't budge and insist that it was my problem that the package is missing and that I should make the call on my own. After 2 minutes of futile dispute, I attempted to call the main office but only got through to them after 10 minutes. I got a hold of the supervisor which seems like a decent guy and explained to him that my package has gone missing. He said he'll go check on it and call me back in 30 mins. however, i did not get a call until 4 hours later. that's 8 times later than when he said he'll call. Even though he managed to find it an hour before the office closes, it is beyond late because such mistake should not happen and should have been corrected on the 2nd day after delivery. As for the vista grande station. customer service is non-existent here. If you are not a simple transaction client, they will tell you to step aside and have you deal with your problems yourself. then they will tell you that everything is outside their control and they can't do anything about it. after all, that's their job and what we pay them to do. on that note, this place also closes minutes before 5pm, their official closing time. I got there at 4:58pm and the door was locked, lights off, and she's already documenting the work for the day. what gives... read more

Horrible customer service from the older asian lady with short reddish hair and glasses. I'm shocked at the consistently bad service given that the USPS seems to be trying so hard to compete with other courier service providers. Luckily, if you have packages or letter mail here you have the option to call this place and have them send it to the main office off Sullivan. The customer service here is so bad. I came here today to get my money back on my priority express mail because it said MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I had gotten my package 2 days late and the lady was like you can't get your money back if it isn't express mail and it is and then she was like you still can't get your money back because we don't know when the package arrived. How can this lady work at the post office and not know that in the 21st century the post office TRACKS YOUR PACKAGE ONLINE FOR YOU. It says online that it arrived 2 days later then it suppose to.
