If it wasn't the only USPS nearby, I would stop coming to this location. They rarely have enough staff working, and especially during this time of the corona pandemic, there's always lines of 10+ people going outside. Always only 1 worker at the register, rarely see 2. Today for the first time in a long time I was given the worst customer service by a lady named Nancy. I was given the run around by a Nancy, who basically didn't look at my paperwork three times and messed up my order. She kept asking me for info that was clearly written out on my paperwork. Which I kept pointing out. Then she informed me that one of my letters could not be insured, which I argued it most certainly could be as it had gifts inside the envelope. We went back and forth about it twice especially since I'd written on the paperwork that it was to be insured. At this point I said screw it and right as I went to swipe my card she asked me if I wanted to add insurance to it. That's when I was ultimately done with Nancy. Then she asked me to step aside and refill out a new paperwork for the third time with the exact info.. . And literally refused to give me a pen to write with when I asked for one to use! There are no pens anywhere to do that with on the middle counter she sent me to!!! I've never ever had such a problem with this individual office or it's employees today which is why I will still give it three stars. Nancy, don't quit your day job. read more

Just called today because I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at the colony. Never have I experienced someone so rude. In all honesty, she was probably upset I was calling so close to closing. (Which is still extremely unprofessional). The least she could have done is try to help or figure out what I needed. She didn't mention her name. She kept cutting me off and was extremely rude. Told me to keep calling the colony and there was nothing she can do. What good is that going to do? I'm so glad I don't live in Carrollton anymore. Our delivery man is the WORST ever! keeps your packages and if your car is slightly over the line he wont deliver your mail NOR will he leave slips that he has your mail. Worst postal office I've ever dealt with. I've tried to call them 4 times this morning and have literally been hung up on all 4 times with someone picking up the phone. I've also had issues inside the facility with an older gentlemen that worked there. He tried to charge me $80 for some specific box I didn't need and overnighted a package I didn't need overnighted. I had almost made a scene in there because he refused to change everything which would have only come out to $10. Very rude staff and highly recommend using a different facility. read more

Went to pick it up and they informed me the package was out for delivery and it's been 4 days since they told me that and still haven't received the package. Everyone here was nice, 'cept one person (from what I experienced so far). I usually pick up mail for my work because we open after USPS operation time. Everyone was helpful, they got me my mail and I would be on my way. However there was ONE person, middle eastern dude (probably a manager or supervisor), he was a bit difficult with me. I picked up mail from him before with our store manager, but I went a few times without her, but every time I was alone, he would always make things difficult. example, asking for identification, proof of employment, and so on, when others didn't even ask me once, neither did he when the manager came with me. I guess I need a pair of tits for identification for him. Really rude person...but everyone else is nice...lol read more

First time here. Stood in line to a lady who was being overly nice but at same time her body language didnt show it. I realized she was just being nice because she was advertising to do a survey regarding their services. I told her I had to ship a package, she said "Okay, wrap it up and we'll send it." I grabbed tape nearby and she said "you cant use that. you have to buy." For some tape? Really? It was a small package, but figures. She pointed me direction to the inexpensive tape which took me a good 5 minutes to find. Im sure she saw me struggling but didnt even bother to help. I found it and it was tape for BOX. I had a envelope package. It wouldve worked but I had to tape my shipping label as well which wouldnt work cause box tape isnt clear. I spent 3.49 on tape that claims its durable and strong. It ripped once I pulled it about 4 inches. I like UPS way better. Im going to stick to them for shipping needs but this particular goods I had, the directions stated it to be dropped off at a Postal Office. read more

I go here once a week to ship orders. Best staff ever! They do their best to speed up the line. Most speak Spanish as well as English. Always helpful and very patient with those who don't have their packages ready. I'm appalled at how rude and impatient some customers are - this is a post office, not a hotel concierge desk. If I can give this place zero stars I would. What kind of people do they have working here? The guy was no help at all. I was supposed to receive something I ordered online and they said the address was invalid so they did not drop if off on Saturday afternoon. I called here to confirmed what happened. Going to the post office can be meh, but this location is the nicest post office I have ever been to. I had a good experience here. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. There were so many people in line and staffs worked very fast and productive. I always do priority mails and it is fast and trustable. The staff helped me doing it and recommended what I should do. I went to go pick up a package from the USPS store and the lady who helped me was so rude. She couldn't find my package and came back and told me in a annoyed tone and said why I came this late to pick up a package when I didn't even get a notice from USPS that my package was at its final notice. Absolutely the worst service i have experienced in my life with the post office. The manager of this establishment is completely rude and does not have any respect for your time or your money. I ordered a PO box on line in December of 2012. True I made a mistake while ordering it and in January went to the Manager to correct this. He fixed the problem temporarily and in March i was having trouble with mail delivery for this PO box once again. It was ridiculous. I ended up having to pay for my box TWICE. i went back and after i paid twice to find that my PO box had its keys changed and that my money was applied for another box. On my last trip to attempt to correct this he had me wait TWO HOURS to correct mistakes he made without any apology. It was absolutely maddening. When i renew I will be going to another post office that is five miles further away just so i don't have to deal with some of the incompetent staff again. They cannot support on line purchase for the post office and anytime there is a problem the first question they ask is "what did YOU do wrong." One star is far too much for this office. I will be spending my day off this week to file a formal complaint with the postmaster of carrollton. One of the employees that tried to help personally asked me to complain to the managers supervising postmaster because he is always rude. Rude, rude staff! Each time I have gone to this post office a woman of oriental decent (I do not know her name) has been outright RUDE to me. Let me explain this by my last trip to this post office: 1) She dropped my receipt angrily in front of me because I wasn't getting my change fast enough for her. 2) She ALWAYS wants to charge me the most money without asking me what I service I wanted. When she weighed my package the first words out of her mouth were "25 dollars". WHAT?! For this small package? Oh... you were going to automatically charge me for overnight without asking... ok then, I guess that's understandable, right? 3) She never told me when my mail was going to get there, when I asked she huffed, visibly upset that I was asking when the package I was paying for would arrive. 4) When I asked when the package would arrive, she made sure to tell me I was too late to drop the package off... at 10 min before 5pm. I asked, what about the sign on the front door that says it has to be in before 5pm? She then looked at me (rudely) and responded "Well, we can't guaruntee anything." 5) She interrupted me in mid conversation as I was STILL standing at her booth by looking behind me and saying "NEXT CUSTOMER"! In the last year 5 pkgs have tried to be delivered when I was working and gone. 2 I didnt know about because no note was left. Had to go up to post office after the sender contacted me saying they show it was delivered. 1 was being ready to be sent back to sender..3 days ago my cameras caught a woman in sweats and hat getting out of a black unmarked car psgr door and coming up to my door and knocking then leaving.. I came home and found a pkg delivery attempt note on the door..?!? Said to schedule another delivery or go pick up..since I work I scheduled another attempt for next day...no pkg, no postman nothing...went to pick up today doorbell broken at window so just knocked really hard...described what happened and was told that the USPS now uses 3rd party delivery services for pkgs...really?!? The post office cant deliver it's own pkgs?!? Yup..thats right. Asked why it wasn't re delivered even tho I had a confirmation number stating it would be...oh, we don't do that for certain things..its once and done and if you dont pick it up in time we send it back...unbelievable!! My suggestion to all I order now from is PLEASE do not use USPS..ANY other carrier will suffice...shippers beware.... read more
