Such a shame that so many people express their constant dissatisfaction and nothing is improving! I was expecting two packages a month ago. The day of the first delivery, the post office claimed that they attempted to deliver the package but nobody was home (false, I was home) and had left a note with instructions on how to move forward (false again, no note was left). On the following day, the same exact thing happens to my second package.. No delivery attempt, no note even though tracking info claimed otherwise. I went online and set up a redelivery for the following week on another day when I will be home to accept it.. Never came. I called USPS and they scheduled yet another redelivery on their end for the next business day and yup, you guessed it.. Still no delivery! Ridiculous is an absolute understatement. I called them yet again, FURIOUS, and they had no explanation as to why it wasn't getting redelivered. Furthermore, they said the could no longer reschedule a delivery because it's still "in transit" from the last one. They told me the only option I have is to pick it up myself. Ok fine. I shlepped to this post office and waited about 10 min for the woman to locate my packages and when she finally returned she goes "it took me a while to find it because you never picked it up and we were supposed to send it back to its origin today".. If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. Nasty. Unprofessional. Unhelpful. Lazy. Packages are never delivered and always require pick up. This is because my carrier cannot be bothered to check if anyone is home - even with BRIGHT, LARGE notes on the door saying PLEASE KNOCK OR RING THE BELL - WE ARE HERE! If on a rare occasion packages are left, they are never concealed - usually just thrown onto my stoop where any passerby could easily walk away with it. Notices are never left, even though tracking information indicates that they should be. Picking up packages is a nightmare because without a notice (even with ID and a tracking number) they hassle you. Don't even bother calling them. The worst location in Brooklyn by FAR! They have the nastiest FEMALES working there. If you have no tolerance to other people other than yourself You have no business working in public. They treat you like S#%$. They always lose your packages, lie saying that they tried delivering when they do not even bother ringing your doorbell. Horrible service, however you can go to Avenue X just off Nostrand Avenue instead. The only problem with Avenue X is Window Number 2, the Middle Window, is staffed by an arrogant ape-like nasty beast who addresses Russians as "you people." And spits out orders at you like an irate African tribal member. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to her window, wait for her two sistas on either side of that window, you won't be sorry. Horrible post office. They never deliver my packages, instead just leave notifications in my mailbox without even bothering to deliver. Management and such employees should be fired.
