Very poor delivery service. When they don't feel like delivering packages, they say I don't exist. Use FedEx or UPS instead.

I just had the rudest customer service experience at this post office. I needed two boxes, so I chose two that had a sign that said they were $1.99 for the 8x8x8 boxes. At check-out, the boxes rang up as nearly $5 each. The lady didn't care at ALL that there was a very clearly mislabeled sign up that would cost me an additional $6 total. She was VERY rude, told me that I need to check the price of the boxes before I use them and that there was nothing she could do. F this place! read more

Came here on Saturday. This place is A little challenging to find if you haven't been to this location the entrance is actually if you're facing the building at the main entrance, to the right hand side. There is ample metered street parking. Everybody was so nice that work there, which unfortunately trips to the post office don't often end up this way. They move very quickly and efficiently, and were very nice. read more

USPS said they left a package with individual, which was a lie. No one would help until I let them know I had cameras proving they lied. Then they retaliated against me and refused to look for other packages, etc. They have no management, they lie constantly, and they are a corrupt farce. 1. This PO place neve ever answers the phone. I have been calling 310-247-3470 and 310-247-3455 for more than 30 minues. No one is answering the phone. Hello?? Answer the phone is not too difficult! (And I'm still waiting them to answer my call atm) 2. Poor Redeliver service. I never had any problem with requesting redelivery service when I was located in WA, and always got my package on time. WELL, now this is my first time ever have a issue with it. I got a confrimation #, a confirm email that the carrier will deliver today. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The clerk, Joyce Klindale (I think that's how you spell it) racially profiled me and refused to give me a money order for my rent because I am black and she "...doesn't know where my money is from" so she said I had to provide my ID, social security card, and proof of employment. Where is that even legal?! This happened on august 2nd and still no answers as to why she did that or any personal calls trying to rectify the issue. I had to leave and go to the Doheny Drive location to get my money order where they even said that's not a policy nor does she have the right to do that. I've tried contacting multiple Postmaster generals of different levels but everyone keeps referring me to someone else. This is unacceptable! At this point I think the USPS does not have a zero tolerance policy for racial discrimination and profiling because not following up urgently on a matter like this shows they really do not care. read more

A most delightful experience. The cheerful demeanor of the employees always makes my visit here a great part of my day. I love the fact that there's always an employee at every window no matter what time of day it is. I always print out postage at home to avoid the post office lines. In this case for a USPS priority box which are supposed to be on display at the self-service kiosk. But of course because of the disorganization and laziness of the staff here, there were none and I was forced to wait in line for 15 minutes for them to reach around the counter to give me a box. The new problem is that someone at this location is playing ping pong with the packages. I've had packages that arrive here only to be shipped to the West Hollywood distribution center, back to Beverly Hills, and then go missing. Only after contacting USPS Consumer Affairs, do I finally get an answer about my package. In one circumstance, consumer affairs told me to contact the US Postal Inspector because there's something not right. And after filing a report with the US Postal Inspector, my package mysteriously is found at the post office. read more

Worst post office known to man kind. They are supposed to open the door for certified mail at 11. They NEVER have in the 5 plus years I have been coming here. It's always ten past or even thirty past 11, causing the line to be at least 20 people deep. Not only are the workers incapable of opening on time, they are such idiots they can never get the mail or let alone find it. They seriously move slower than my 97 year old grandma. What a joke. Do not come here and do not hold your mail here unless you want to get something that was overnights two weeks later. read more

The old woman at the pick up station had really bad attitude, and it was the worst customer service experience I ever had in a post office. The first day i attempt to pick up my package, she refused helping me find my package. Here it says the office closes at 5:00, and the second day I was there at 4:00, there was no one working! It's not the computers that are replacing the need to use USPS. People are fed up of rude customer service from USPS Employees. Forget about the slowness. People can deal with that, but rudeness even the most tolerant people can't stand. The trouble at this post office is that the front house is all Women. Too much drama and synced menstrual periods. I have been shipping in bulk for years through many post offices, so I know what type of service I should expect. The cashier clerks don't even want to deal with prepaid packages you have done all the work for. They don't even want to lift them. If you have a Scan Form. They want you to wait in line. You schedule a home pick up and they don't show up. Why do you think businesses go to the competition UPS and/or Fedex? They always respond to your complaints. They are reliable, honest and friendly for the most part. USPS tells you that if you have a complaint to call them. When you do, you get the exact same bad service. They never do anything. There's nobody that cares. There's a lot of people out there who will be grateful to have any job. Most USPS employees take their jobs for granted. Raising your prices and cutting Saturday delivery will not help USPS. Listen to your customers and take actions for improvement. Also, listen to your employees. The clerk was rude, arrogant and dismissive. She rejected my mail and I politely to tried to explain the contradiction in instruction I was given by her colleagues at the 800 number. She shouted for me to get out of the line and would not make any attempt to listen to my issue. I stayed there and with a polite tone (despite her mean tone) attempted to slowly explain my case. I was greeted with an angry stare and she turned her back and got someone else to talk to me. The other person which was not rude, seemed to only want to talk to me for 10 seconds as "she had to get back to work and didn't not have time for this" Mean and rude attitude the clerk had with me. You dont make customers feel like low lives and kick them out of a line while they are still trying to talk to you. I have a retail business, and I know that is is terrible customer service. I read this office's profile on yelp and 100 other people agree. I see the turn around campaign the USPS is rolling out to rejuvenate interest, but until you address human resource problem of such employees, people will never feel comfortable choosing you over the other guys. read more

This post office doesn't even deserve a one star rating. Every time I go to this post office, out of pure convenience due to it's location near my office, I get stuck in a long line. It takes about 30 min to 1 hour to get to the front of the line to be greeted with horrible customer service. Not to mention they don't even provide tape for a box that needs one strip to be closed shut - about $3 for a whole roll of tape just to send your box off. I had a box CONFIRMED off usps.com that was there 5 days ago from today. I went there 3 days ago to pick it up. No slip in my PO Box that it was there, so I went to the box counter (which is only open a few hours a day, NOT relevant to when the rest of the post office is open...huh?) They claimed my box was not there. I showed them my email confirmation on my phone, and WITHOUT CHECKING IN THE BACK OR A COMPUTER, NOTHING, the clerk says "yeah, we don't have that box." Huh? Go check to see if it's back there? There's NO WAY you're going to remember every single box in that large building and you have and in memory, say "sorry, your box isn't here." They are the most LAZIEST, RUDEST people. The WORST customer service experience I have EVER had in my entire life was today.....after driving across Los Angeles to go back to get a box that's been sitting there already mind you...I get there and Romeo, the supervisor (literally the RUDEST person I've ever met) as EXTREMELY RUDE to me. I get there at 10:30 AM, which was 30 minutes prior to their "box counter hours." But Romeo, being the supervisor, was going through the long line asking people if they had "pick ups." He was honoring people picking up there stuff before 11am. Nice I thought. So he has my slip in his hand, and WAS GOING TO GET MY BOX....but then in a very "by-the-way" I said, "Yeah, it's been here since Monday but I came here and they can't find it. I'd like to make a complaint because this has happened here literally 8 or 9 times. He shoves my postal slip back in my hand and says "Oh sorry, I cant get your box for you, you are "denied service." Next please." I said, "Excuse me? What did I even say? I wasn't blaming him, I was just saying that this happens all the time there. I go to the normal line again and wait, and when it's my turn to go up and just try to TALK to somebody, all of the clerks said "No, you've been 'denied service.' Next!" NO ONE WOULD TALK TO ME! WTF?!?!??!?!?!??! I wish my box wasn't stuck in this office because of the 6 years I've had a PO Box there, I have had like I said 8-9 boxes LOST LOST LOST, NEVER TO BE FOUND even though extra was paid for tracking and THEY ALL said it was there. I'd like to note that he was giving people in front of me and behind me their mail/boxes!!!! Note, and people here can back me up....there has NEVER been one time in line getting a box, where I didn't hear some sort of battle or struggle of someone else "loosing" their boxes. They don't check ANYTHING on computers. They somehow have EVERYONE'S mail memorized? I don't fucking think so. USPS, like the military can't get "fired" from their jobs so easily, so they put in their 20 years, knowing they wont get fired and they become lazy, rude people. Also, I don't even live in Beverly Hills, I live in Los Angeles, but some of these other reviews saying that "well BH residents MUST give them a hard time, etc." I am not sure why people are saying that. Just because it's in an upscale neighborhood, doesn't mean that people are stuck up. I don't live there either but the workers are sub-human there. THEY WILL STEAL/LOOSE YOUR BOXES AND YOU WILL NEVER GET THEM BACK. I just called USPS and made a complaint and they don't give a fuck either. i actually give this no stars, but it won't let me do that... I am absolutely disgusted!!! For two months now I've sent in my rent check certified mail to my landlords box at a mail store. For two months, it's ended at the Beverly Hills Post Office and then just disappeared and I've had to cancel each check at $30 a pop and hand deliver my rent check. TODAY I was informed by the mail store that this post office has just stopped processing all certified mail. They have just stopped! Complaints have been filed by the store with the better business bureau and I have put in two calls to the manager of the post office, though I have not been called back. I'm not only out the money of mailing my checks certified, I'm out the money it costs to cancel the checks because the post office isn't processing certified mail! WTH!!! Worst post office ever.... We got a PO Box and the key was not working that same day. They said they would put a new lock 2 days later and asked us to call before coming in. After calling over a week and leaving messages over and over and over and over again. The last day I called and had to yell at them for someone to look into it a bit more. We then found out that we are not really been assigned a box eventhough we have a po box number attibuted to us. And of course there is no request to change the lock or do anything on our box. A beautiful post office with free underground parking. The staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. One of them helped me find the right packaging material and helped me package my shipment. Go in the mornings to avoid longer lines. They will turn you away if you step in line minutes before closing. The self checkout station is the best! So quick and easy. read more

I have been to some PO hellmouths - Bicentennial on Beverly, lookin' at you - but the handful of times I have been here it's been great. Showed up last Saturday with boxes of goodies to send overseas to military personnel, and they stayed open 20 mins late after everyone else left to help me fill out all the gnarly paperwork and make sure things were in order (I had no idea it was such a complicated process). Three super nice ladies working and very generous with their time. read more

What is up with this place? I send a simple package to a local there and the local USPS loses it. Never makes it to the building (where a S/R person actually signs for it) for confirmed delivery. Lost during delivery...really?!?!? It's not like it is a small padded envelope. It's a poster tube!!! I'm sure this claim for insurance (only $50...because I didn't buy extra- life lesson there!) will go down just as smoothly. What a sore excuse for a post office. Quite possibly the most abysmal one I've encountered across seven states I've used. I bought standard regular mail and the lady charged me for tracking. I accidentally mailed the damn package to myself since occasionally I'm absent minded, and went in to see if I can ship it to the correct address this time for no charge. I didn't expect them to bite, but I demanded they refund me the difference for the tracking that I did not purchase. They of course refused and said I clarify the problem. While the interior of the Post Office is nice and, when there are enough clerks at the counter, you might actually get your mail out. But good luck ever trying to get mail to its destination in any timely fashion. I mailed something out on Tuesday from an outside mailbox to reach Century City by Friday-- a half-hour walk at best. But the item STILL hasn't gotten there yet, left in some sort of limbo. It needed to get there by today (Friday) and, as a result, this post office's incompetence in delivering mail a mile away has caused me a lot of grief. I can't figure out which is worse-- this branch or Bicentennial Station. Right now they're both in a two-way race to the bottom. read more

UPDATE; This post office is closed during its renovations, and the phone number given here comes up as invalid as of Nov. 8, 2017. Man, I can't believe the negative reviews of this post office. I think that most are reporting from their own personality issues, rudeness, impatience,etc. First of all, when you go to the post office, ANY post office, you know from the start that you're going to have to wait. My position is that, since I know I'll have to wait, I might as well make the best of it, so I talk to people in the line, keeping the experience as pleasant as possible. Sometimes, I even hand out a business card. I never waste any time, especially while waiting. The clerks I have experienced there have all been very kind and helpful, even humorous. The only problem is, lately, there have been only two of them to handle the long lines, even during the busy holidays. One funny thing that happened was trying to find the pick-up window. It was like I had entered a Twilight Zone episode. It's hidden among the banks of post office boxes and is marked as something else. It's easy to just walk right by it, several times. No one else seemed sure if it was really there either. All in all, this is a fairly normal post office experience. I can't say that I've ever been in one in which the experience was something I'd rave about. My biggest surprise and complaint is that they have no xerox machine. ALL of our post offices are suffering from lack of staff due to government cut backs, while, in the meantime, raising the price of postage, which doesn't make any sense, but that's another story. read more

Just went there today. Who knew? A gorgeous building, free parking and convenient hours. The earlier the better as the line is practically nothing before 10. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Too bad there closing this place down because it was a nice location. Some of the staff have a bad attitude. I don't know if it's because they have seniority or they've been told to do this. A few years back, these same people were very polite and helpful but now. their rude. They won't do acceptance scans, they will literally throw paperwork back instead of handing it back to you. I had a much better experience than many others here. First off, they did appear to be significantly understaffed. I arrived near opening, and only had to wait about 10 minutes, but by the time I left the line was upwards of 6 people and only one window was open. However, the staff that I dealt with were EXTREMELY helpful, especially as someone who rarely sends packages and managed to screw up multiple times per package (helpful hint: they don't mail things without a return address, so you might want to include that!). If they could just add one or two more clerks like the one who helped me, this office would be excellent. tl;dr: Very helpful staff, but too few of them. read more

This review has nothing to do with the parking or the wait in line. This has to do with the customer service and arrogant public servants that work there. I would normally expect this from the locals with the attitude that was given more than the staff that I would assume does not even live in the area. Many locals are kinder than the staff from experience of over 11 years of having a box at this location. They must be trained to be rude to the wealthy people that keep them employed.
