A woman employee got the recipients' last name for a mailing wrong four times. Despite four efforts by me. Each of which involved spelling out the last name. Twice had to do with me having written it down. And she got the address wrong because she added a 5 to the number in the address when I clearly wrote "S." read more

Nice little place to rent a post office box if you need one. Prices were a little higher than what I'm used to at USPS, but it is right in the center of Beverly Hills. And that makes parking a bit of a pain. There is a paid lot behind the store, so you'll probably end up there. Maybe do one lap - then head around back. read more

This office has some lovely people working here and one rotten apple--the very short Hispanic woman who should not be in customer service. Angry and passive aggressive. I watched her fan the flames of one unhinged customer go off on another customer with her comments and behavior. She was enjoying and fueling the nasty verbal attack. I've had an address here for years now that I use as my primary business address . I travel most months of the year and Beverly Hills Postal Place makes sure I get all my mail without interruptions. I pick it up while in town from a friendly and professional staff . But one of the best services I utilize is they forward my mail to me once a month , where ever I am in the world with a quick phone call and the address I am currently . Unreliable. I dropped off a very important and urgent prepaid ups next day package yesterday at 2 pm and specifically asked them to make sure it would get picked up yesterday and the guy told me definitely it would. I kept tracking the package - it wasn't given to the ups driver until today at 6 pm. It was supposed to be delivered by today at 6pm and would have been if not for them not giving the UPS guy my package! Very unreliable. Next time I'm not trusting them and going straight to the ups store. read more

Wow I should have done this review years ago... I have been a long customer of this place now for about 6 years.. Yes 6 years of receiving my mail here... I must say I remember when it was owned by someone else before the current people. Either way they have all been awesome with their customer service. Anytime I had a package coming in from Europe they were always nice enough to deal with my daily calls asking if it has arrived yet or not. Fortunately I have never received a ticket for parking in the red like Cat T. has as I have been lucky, but I have parked in the rear parking lot and it take less than 10 mins to make the walk to & from the Mail Box location... LOL The only time that I worry about is when the place has a line for people trying to ship out packages, that can end up taking about 20 mins sometimes, when all I want is to grab some mail that didn't fit in my box or a package to just grab and go. Other than that I give them an A plus! read more

I asked why he didn't tell me ahead of time that there was a double charge for it he said oh I am sorry....and I asked why is that he said we are not a post office and I need to walk it to the post office, but it was me who walked to the post office!!! Five out of five all the time. Price is perfect and service is phenomenal. I have even had gold jewellery and diamonds and precious stones shipped here and it got to me. Each and every document I get makes it to me. And when I ship something out, they are always there to walk me through the ins and outs. The best service, ever. read more

For me, this place has been great. It's central, they are really nice all of the time and once, when someone accidentally mailed me a flower arrangement to this address, the sweet owner called me, told me and took a beautiful photo of it and emailed it to me, since I could not go pick it up before they wilted. Relatively inexpensive place to receive mail with the "right" zip code. Sometimes the staff isn't the most attentive, but they are really great at their jobs when it comes to sorting the mail (we've never received an incorrect piece of mail) and will even check your box over the phone so you don't waste a trip. Other pros? They are conveniently located near a lot of other great shops so you can bunch your errands together while picking up mail e.g. Rite Aid, Wells Fargo. There's even a Sprinkles and Crumbs bakery in the next block to sweeten your day! Tips: * Free 2 hr parking at the Rite Aid lot! * Do NOT park in the red in front of the store. People do it all the time, but we have been chased by the parking maids for doing this. read more

I hate most mail stores. You usually end up waiting for someone in front of you who has more packages than Santa Claus. Luckily, this Mail Boxes is super efficient! There is never a long line and they always have at least two people working so if there is a line it moves quickly. They will ship your package anyway you like and are happy to compare rates. They take passport photos, which is great and they sell an assortment of office supplies and greeting cards. This is the place to go for your postage needs in Beverly Hills. The only downfall is the lack of parking. You're best off parking in the lot behind the store. read more

I dropped off a package at this location. It was a cell phone return envelope to my cell phone carrier's insurance dept. The package was never scanned and months later the carrier charged me $410. I am not sure if it was their fault or the fault of the USPS, but I was told that the package was never scanned. This business told me to go take it up with the USPS, all while the USPS told me that the Beverly Hills Postal Place did not have that package with their daily pickup. Which suggests one of two things, either something went wrong and this package was lost and now I'm paying for it, or someone stole it and now I'm paying for it. EITHER WAY, I DROPPED THE PACKAGE OFF HERE, AND I ENDED UP PAYING $410. So they have lost my trust COMPLETELY, and I wanted to post this review so others know my story and maybe it will make a DENT in their trust for this place as well. read more

I work around the corner and even though I was in this store several years ago and at that time they were not helpful in what I wanted I thought I would try it again. I had 2 packages. One for Fed-Ex the other package to be mailed USPS. Well, the one woman who worked there said she would not take the Fed Ex package because they already were there and she wanted to charge me $20.00 for this small package. I did not need it to get there in a rush but $20.00? She told me it was because she didn't want to send it USPS but it was going UPS and that was the charge! The reason she would not ship it USPS was thought they just lost a package and if I wanted to have it shipped out USPS they may lose it also. WHAT? How does this business even stay open?? I tried to be patient with the moronic, disinterested staff who worked there but it got to the point I couldn't deal with it any longer so I closed out my box and went elsewhere. There is one guy in there now who makes Jethro Bodine look like Einstein. A big lumbering fool who I believe is high most of the time. He is nonresponsive....not sure if he is stupid or just doesn't care. Either way, overalll, not worth the money and parking is a nightmare. read more

BEWARE!!!!! Do not trust with your package!!! I had several large pieces that I needed to be boxed and sent. There was some woman who barely understood English who kept asking me it I wanted them all in one box. I told her they may be too big for all of them to be properly packed in 1 box so how ever many it takes. Then she kept repeating do you want it all in one box. Then some guy came in from the back and stepped in. He weighed everything and told me $78. He didn't ask if I wanted insurance or signature confirmation or anything. I said ok. He stood there looking at me. I finally said what are you waiting for. He wanted me to pay. I said ok, but I wanted the tracking number. He said that he was too busy to pack it now and he would email it to me. I said no payment until I get a tracking numbers. He got rude and gruff and I left with a bad feeling about this guy. I went down the street to kinkos where I got the boxes, insurance, and tracking number for over $300 to ship and insure everything. He wanted only $78, with me leaving everything out in the open, not allowing me to wait while he packs and provides tracking info? It was all too sketchy for me. read more
