I asked him to purchase postage stamps and he asked said 'for what' and I had to reiterate it because I wanted to. And then proceeded to say that they only took cash. Stay far away from this place. We are always turned away from dropping off packages, needing to drive across town to take our return someplace else. please do not waste your time- the guy that works at the front is the most miserable person I've ever met. I went in last week to mail a package, and he refused to acknowledge me until he stuck his hand out to get my card from me. I didn't think much of it- I get it, he hates his job. I just wanted to get my mail out. I then went in again tonight, about 30 min before closing, and I asked for a box and he said "just give me what you have" and I said "oh well I was hoping to put the box together myself since it's a gift. Do you have any packaging paper?" he then told me to go somewhere else. I was very confused.....I had just walked in, I was the only one there, and just asked for a box and some packaging paper.....? Like this is a post office....? I asked why he wasnt going to give me a box and he just said he wasnt doing it. I said "youre not giving me a box...?" and he said no, the truck already come by. I wasn't in a rush to get the package out, I just wanted it in mail- doesn't matter if it went out today or tomorrow of if the truck had already come by. I then started recording and will be sending it to the owner, since I asked numerous times for a supervisor or owner and he refused to give me the name. Anyways, save your time and money. I am so happy to have found this company. Mike is so professional and really nice. It was getting close to tax time and Mike assisted me with finding the quickest way to get my paperwork to my CPA. I needed to return something to GAP that my mail lady took but it was returned to me instead. I thought it needed to go to one address and very nicely Mike asked "are you sure?" And then he let me know the return address he usually uses. I figured since he owns a postal service company his insight was better then mine and sure enough I got notification GAP received my return!! I use a walker and Mike is very accommodating to let me come in and use his facility like anyone else. That makes me feel great. I highly recommend this business to everyone! Rude & unprofessional! Avoid! Yesterday I went to this "authorized" UPS location to drop off an Amazon return. After finding parking, paying for it, and going in to the store, the unfriendly guy at the store wanted me to pay $1 just to allow me to drop off my return, even though I had a return label which I had pre-printed at home. I told him I had no cash, and could only pay with Apple Pay. He refused to accept my package and told me to go find another location. This place is walking distance from where I live. And I had used it for many occasions from sending expensive first priority mails to ups drop offs. Past 4-5 years the customer service dropped to unbearable levels. Sometimes the convenience of short walk distance was beating the inconvenience of dealing with Mike, the Asian guy at the counter. Ah yes, there will be snarky comments, rolling of eyes, rude attitude... it's a toss up, I'd say you have 50% chance per visit, you'll have some weird interaction. The attitude is, If you are willing to spend less than $10, you are bothering him. He seriously gets annoyed. If you are apologetic and act very very nice he might do it, but again he will not be super happy. Doesn't matter if you are a regular, Ups drop off? He will be annoyed Stamps? Needed help to send a document to the Secretary of State with a stamped self addressed envelope inside, he did not understand so I try to explain it and showed him the instructions on my phone and the person just told me: "I'm not gonna read anything, I can't help you"... I was in shock by his mean behavior and so unprofessional, and said "Wow You are not a kind person, u could help too and he just said "I'm not here to help anyone. I don't help people" something like that... The person had a shocking attitude and not helpful at all and to even say something like that "I'm not here to help anyone" I almost could not believe what I heard. We came in five minutes before closing, at 5:55 p.m. The tall skinny Asian guy working the counter seemed annoyed from the time we entered (maybe 'cuz he wanted to go home - I dunno). He misspelled the name we gave him about three different ways (although maybe 'cuz my friend telling him the name mumbles a bit), but then he and we corrected it. When he gave us the price to mail the parcel, it was unexpectedly high. We asked if there was anything cheaper. He said that there was not. We thought about it, then apologized and said we'd try somewhere else. He said, "OK, no problem." At this point, I thought we'd been mistaking his demeanor for unfriendly, when he was actually just quiet and unexpressive. This was about 6:01 - one minute after the stated closing time. So, I guessed, great - no hard feelings. Then we remembered we needed stamps, and asked how much they were. He told us, "Too expensive for you," and walked away. I would recommend avoiding this place, at least when this jerk is working. (Oh, apparently about a hundred other Yelpers hate this guy as well...how does this place stay in business? When my bill is due, I can make one quick call to authorize a payment over the phone. And I've enjoyed getting to know Mike over the years too! I have had a box here for over 15 years and have never had a problem. This location is a family run business and Mike is usually the day to day Manager who goes out of his way for customers. I would highly recommend using their services. Not to mention, any time I have a package to ship all I have to do is drop it off and they pack, ship and send me a receipt via email. It couldn't be easier. Plus, getting in and out of the store is easy. Parking in front is always available. Even if you don't have a box you can use their services. Complete shock! This review is for Mike. I have been coming to this Post Office for years. Mike was always friendly and helpful. Even after I moved from this neighborhood, I still came back because of the service. Unfortunately, yesterday I came in, as usual greeting Mike. He was unresponsive and impatient. Kept rushing me when there was no one else in the store. He spoke to me with a horrible attitude, complete rudeness, and was so degrading. He told me he doesn't have envelopes, which clearly they were visibly displayed. A Post Office with no envelopes! Told me to go mail it myself. I have experienced the WORST customer service! For a moment I felt bad for him. I looked at his reviews and realized that his awful treatment is constant. In conclusion, I will never step my foot there again. He said, "You can just go somewhere else and mail those," before giving an ugly look and turning his back on us slowly, walking into the back area. Now, I've just been in a terrible car accident and have two very swollen black eyes, so to be treated like this was nothing less than shocking. The man that works here always seems to have a chip on his shoulder. I believe his name is John. He seldom speaks. I have been coming here for 23 years and it was so nice when the previous young man, his cousin, was there. Always said Hello and very friendly. This guy, John, gets annoyed if you ask him a question. Today he went to put my documents with the cardboard envelope into another envelope for Express mailing. Thinking the extra weight would cost more with the cardboard envelope, I asked him what the difference in price would be. He got very rude and shouted, "What do you think it would be?" Rudeness makes me angry and I shot back that I didn't know as I don't work at the store. He just grabbed my envelope for mailing and I asked him what he did with the documents and the cardboard envelope. He refused to tell me the cost, said he wouldn't mail my letters. I really needed to get them out and so I decided to apologize for upsetting him. I could see that something wasn't right with him and just wanted to pay and get my stuff mailed. But he said he wouldn't mail them and asked me to leave the store and never come back. He seemed a bit threatening and since I am an 81 year old new widow, I decided not to argue with him and left.
