Linda is absolutely wonderful! I had a single letter to mail. Typically all my correspondence is online and so I don't have stamps. So I did a quick search online and came up with this store and its stellar reviews. I was not disappointed! Linda was super professional, got me stamp, volunteered to drop off my letter and sold me a book of stamps to hang on to as backup. He kindly told me that though he does not sell them, I can buy some from Smart & Final. Since he helped me out, I decided to go to him to ship out my perishable gift and boy am i glad i did! The absolute worse experience I've ever had with a P.O. Box. Linda does not effectively know how to run a business. She doesn't care about her customers concern. She is very hostile & seems to be very distasteful when it comes to communication. Don't even waste your time or energy. I was dealing with a very important matter in which my mail sent to her place of business without me knowing. She is stealing my mail for her own personal gain do not trust her with your personal information!!!! She also disclosed my personal mailing information with someone other than myself very disappointing. A shame you can't trust your local services anymore. read more

Today, I walked in to drop off a return package, which already had return shipping paid for. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Linda, who immediately knew how it had to be shipped, and promptly took care of the package. I've been a business customer here for almost a year. ($700 a year mind you) I just had a package arrive "damaged" and pried open on the end with the "checked in" sticker placed on top of the damage. Of course everything inside stolen. This was done to a USPS Small Flat rat box. Would not recommend Lynda or John to be trusted with anything of mine again. read more

I walked in here on a warm day and was nicely greeted by great air conditioning and two friendly faces. I came in without any supplies and they provided everything. He wrapped it up and sealed it all for me. It was exactly the type of service i wanted. As he was typing the label out, they have a second screen so i could watch and verify as he typed. This is the only place you need to go to for all your mailing needs! My fiancee has been coming here for quite some time now. He mails out a lot of packages for work via UPS and USPS and it's so convenient to be able to drop all the packages off at one location instead of going to each store. John is amazing! He always goes above and beyond when it comes to service. The minute he sees us pull up, he's already out the door helping us to bring in boxes. He always offers us a drink and his prices can't be beat! On more than one occasion, we've had to ship awkwardly sized items, and John helped us out by custom cutting a box to fit the size exactly so we wouldn't have to pay more in shipping. My fiancee has a UPS account he uses for business shipping, and somehow John is still able to beat the price my fiancee is given (sometimes saving us an extra $10!). They also sell all your mailing needs here (boxes, tape, etc) and have PO boxes. read more

So... it's taken me about 3.5 years to write this review. I was referred by my previous postal center upon his retirement. Selfishly, I haven't wanted to brag about my best kept secret. This place is superb in every aspect imaginable. There's a community vibe here and most people look out for each other as needed. Everyone who works here is kind, professional and extremely hard working. Doesn't hurt to bring em breakfast once in a while. They deserve much more than that!!! I feel safe at night just as during days. And I don't ever worry about missing packages or the horrors other places impose. I trust these guys and confident to know I'm taken care of. This is the BEST place to go for all of your postal needs. Both the manager, Gerry, and Yeisie are amazing. They are both so friendly, so hospitable, and really care about your experience in the store. They walk you through your shipping options and make sure you're completely satisfied before you leave...something the USPS cannot offer! I even see them give cold water bottles to the UPS/FedEx delivery people on the hot summer days...THAT is service! They recently stayed for half an hour past business hours to allow me to ship nine packages during this upcoming holiday season. I am so grateful for them for their impeccable customer service tonight and every time I've ever been here. I will always go here, even if it's out of the way. Love John and crew. I come in here whenever I visit LA and need to ship my various purchases home to Canada. This usually includes books, a couple bottles of Seabreeze astringent (so no airmail), and plenty of books and other interesting finds I dig up during my visit. I've now used them 3 times over the course of 4 years, and absolutely love coming in because I know I don't have to worry about my stuff. John even remembers me, even though I don't come in super regularly. He always hands me an ice cold water and proceeds to wrap everything super securely so nothing will break during transit. This last visit. I was also shipping a scrap metal "ant" yard sculpture that was a little strangely-shaped and unwieldy, but he came through, no problem! Only six days from Sunset to here. Excellent job as usual, and I'll be back, hopefully in another year or so! read more

Get a tracking # and stay on top of them. I gave 2 stars cuz the owner Jerry & his wife are sweet but the new employee John....? This is 2nd time I've handed him my mail with problems. Lost part of the 1st one and now it's been 6 days (small envelope going to S.F) - Lost. I paid $6 for simple sticker with price & tracking no. to be put on - he failed to do so now - I'm left hoping it turns up. All I can recommend Is get copies of everything besides just your recipt of payment make sure he's given you the No#! I will respond on here when or if it ever shows. Update: Envelope did arrive the 9th day. All I recommend is to make sure tracking no.# is placed on envelope and recipt. read more

The best place in town for any mailing related things. I have been their customer for last 3 amazing years and could not be more happier with their customer service. Gerry is a pleasant guy and type of person I enjoy working with. It is so convenient to go to this place as oppose to going to your local post office. They have a great location and provide mailbox services. There is never a line, but only an honest, professional service. ZERO STARS!!! This place is awful and very unprofessional. I was having some mail sent to me while I was out of town in Northern California. It has now been 34 days AND THE PACKAGE STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED. Apparently they also use DHL Global, who in conjunction with this mailbox location and the USPS can't seem to deliver a small package within the state of California. No one is able to give me an answer, not can they locate my package. (The clerk told me in order to get a tracking number they use DHL).... Next time, I will just put a regular postage stamp and mail things that way!!! DONT ISE THIS MAILBOX/shipping location!!! I am still waiting for my package as I type this review. read more

Extraordinarily bad experience here. I was treated very rudely the moment I walked in the door. Based on everyone else's reviews, I must have spoken to the one person who does not have customer service on lock. He was extremely rude and dismissive. I was so confused by his behavior toward me that I asked if something was wrong, and he continued to be highly irritated with me, based on what became semi-apparent was my misunderstanding of what kind of services the store provides. I'm using my sister's Yelp to make this review since I don't have an account & rarely ever have time to. First, arrived on 3/1/17 around 10AM to drop off a package for my husband (UPS). The asian man behind the counter had his feet on a table while watching what looked like tv shows. I asked if my package could be left there for UPS to pick up and he seemed bothered that I even asked. Then, I asked him if he had tape to secure my envelope. He seemed bothered again and lazily pointed in my direction. There was tape against the wall and two different ones on the table in front of me. I asked which one and he was irritated and sarcastically pointed at the one on a table. I used the tape and then asked him whether I needed a receipt. He mumbled something and continued watching his tv programs. As I was walking out, I asked him what his name was. He blurted something out then stood up. He then asked what my name was and began walking towards me with aggression. Seconds before, he grabbed my package to look at my return address (I'm assuming) and said I needed to take my shit elsewhere. At this point, he was in my personal space, standing directly in front of me (confrontational). I gave him my name and also informed him that I was an LAPD officer. He then changed his demeanor. My husband has an account there as does my brother. I will be informing them and the owner about what occurred. This was absolutely unnecessary and it was clear that this man is lazy and a bully. The owners must be made aware of how their worker is treating their customers. To be continued. Follow up. I called hours later and spoke with a woman who said her nane was Lydia. I asked to speak with the owner and she went on very aggressively about how she wanted me to discuss what my concern was first. Again, I asked to speak with the owners and she became extremely irate with me. Honestly, the workers there from this experience are unprofessional, belligerent and hostile. BE WARNED! Take your business elsewhere. I ended up taking my package to a UPS in Beverly Hills. What a difference! Will be posting my review once I open my own Yelp account. read more

Hard to believe that I find myself writing a review on a Mailbox center, but the staff here are really so good, that they warrant the 5 stars! From my initial visit a year or so ago (based on yelp reviews) I have been back maybe 4 times, and each time, regardless of who serves me, I get a level of customer service and friendliness that is near impossible to find anymore. I live beside a post office, but choose to drive here instead knowing that I will be well taken care of. Cannot recommend them highly enough. read more
