This location is small, but honestly super convenient. I came in to return a few items I bought online that didn't fit, and the whole experience was really smooth. The location itself is easy to get to, and the biggest plus is that they have parking. If you know Sunset, you know parking can be crazy, so that alone is a huge win. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by an employee named Chris. He was very polite, helpful, and made the whole process quick and easy. I made it easy for him, and he made it just as easy for me, I was in and out with no stress. I really appreciate good customer service, especially because it's not always recognized. Parking is tricky here. They have parking behind the store but, it's a bit confusing. But trust me it's there. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by attendants. My wife and I lost our home in the Palisades fire and have relocated to a small garage apartment in Laurel Canyon. Forty some odd years ago, my first business had a PO box in what is now store3939 at the corner of Crescent Heights and Sunset, so the first thing I did when we landed in Laurel Canyon was head there to get a PO Box. The service I received from Anthony and Jason was so notable I wanted to sing their praises. First, everyone working there was highly sympathetic and made the pain and disorientation of our loss a bit more bearable. And the atmosphere in the store is just so darned friendly. A number of customers came in while we were getting our box set up and everyone--employees and customers--seemed happy to be there and interacted more like friends than customer and supplier. And that experience has held up. We've been getting deliveries there every day as we replace missing personal items. Every visit, Anthony and Jason recognize us and make sure we get taken care of quickly. Print jobs are always waiting for us. Packages are quick to appear. And for the few big packages that we've received, someone is always happy to grab a dolly and help us out to our car. The associates claim to know absolutely NOTHING ! Especially things you actually need help with . Took my money no problem but the associates aren't even properly trained to answer and assist. As a first time eBay seller, everything went worst case scenario. Luckily the manager here (so sorry I didn't get your name) went above and beyond to help me reroute my package safely to me. Long story short, I was scammed by the buyer and UPS could not help me online to get my package to me because the buyer had put it in their name, but the manager at this location sat on the phone with corporate with me and was so friendly and knew every customer that walked in the store, seamlessly multitasking, but not letting my issue go unresolved or unprioritized. My only gripe is that the last few times that I've walked inside, the AC seems to be broken. Not an ideal work environment for their workers and for us patrons. William, Sean and Chris are each 'knights in shining armor' (I'm disabled and frequently have to ship things so I appreciate these Prince Charmings!) They couldn't be more helpful, more kind, more pleasant - I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best location in L.A. To the owner, please would you formally note this praise and I would be grateful if you could recognize these gentlemen in some way, at least a pat on the back (if it were up to me, I'd give each of them 2 extra vacation days off and an expensive lunch out). I just visited this UPS store and if I could give these 3 associates 10 stars I gladly would. I came into the store close to 4pm on Saturday 7/30. The store was empty and there were 3 young associates working. Now I have to preface this by saying I have had so many encounters with receiving bad service even when there's no other customers and/or multiple staff just standing around having conversations and not offering service. But these 3 were the complete opposite...meaning they were eager to offer assistance. They were all so personable and of course helpful. We ended up discussing songs and artists. I have to say they made my day. I should have gotten their names, but perhaps the time and day I came in will narrow it down. Keep up the great customer service! With the days of ordering online, the hassle of Frequent returns can become overwhelming. However, ANTHONY R made that process so seamless today. Especially at the busiest hour of 4pm! I had three different returns with two being from the same vendor. However the return labels weren't labeled with the item names or order number, and I was beyond confused. Notary service is on point, with full social distancing enforced during this COVID-19 era. Braxton was super helpful over the phone when I made a same-day appointment to come down for a signing. The store is set up with yellow tape on the floor marking approved waiting stations and only three people are allowed in the store at one time, remaining 6 feet apart. Signs are posted requesting that all patrons wear non-surgical masks. If the store is busy, a line forms to the right of the door outside. There's a small countertop island that they ask you to place your document(s) and I.D. on - then you step away while the notary reviews it, signs, and leaves their own form. After signing their book with a sterile pen, you throw the pen in the trash and pay (I used a credit card terminal while the notary stepped away from the counter). If you want a $5 off deal on notary service, just check in on the Yelp app while in the store and email a screenshot of your check in to the email they provide to you. This review will show how you lost a customer ,after 16 years, over 2 arrogant and condescending seemingly new hires; Jason and Anthony. On Saturday June 17th at 5:01 PM sharp I arrived at your store, after an 1hour drive from Acton, to collect an important piece of mail of which I couldn't wait to be forwarded to me. Even though I pleaded with Anthony and explained that I drove for an hour, he refused to walk around and get my mail because "I had to have my key," he claimed . Apparently he was in a mood to "teach someone a lesson". Jason made sure that Anthony wouldn't "fold under pressure" and go around to the mailboxes and collect my mail. In short; they both wasted an entire 10 minutes arguing with me instead of investing 15 seconds helping me out. In the 16 years I have had my mailboxes with you , having a key or not was never an issue, furthermore, I have never experienced such condescending customer service and total disregard to a customer in need of help. That unprofessional "dumb and dumber" duo is certainly not a good representation for your location and it's up to you what you decide to do with them. Glad to find this UPS location! Not only they are open even Sundays, the customer service I received here was superb! Two staff greeted me with big "hello" and a person who helped my boxes was very friendly and helpful. I somehow forgot to get the label to print out, but he was walking me through how to and making it so much easier. When I found out about my mistake, I was almost stressing me out but oh boy he assured it is fixed easily and made my anxiety away. What he did was not just ensuring my packages to be sent, but also making my Sunday better and saving me from mental stress I was going to put myself into.
