I watched a post office worker try to solve the issue that a customer had for a few minutes and he was genuinely concerned. Extra points. When another post worker saw that I was waiting for a bit while the other post worker was busy, he hopped behind the counter to take me. He was quick, efficient, and friendly. Yes... he was friendly. I think that's actually a first for my post office experiences. It's like 7-11 for me, I don't expect the cashiers to be very friendly for enthusiastic, so it's a bonus when they are. They do have a self service station, and a couple of pens floating around with an egregious amount of post office stickers on the back end so they're not taken. Had absolutely no problem with this USPS office. Tons of street parking. Convenient.

This place is really great if you live or work in Rosslyn. It's very conveniently located in the…read moremetro mall and also is a small giftshop in case you need to buy and mail a last-minute gift. They sell all types of cards, generic gifts (like coffee mugs, DC sports hats, etc.) as well as chocolates. It's a full service USPS and has everything a normal post office would. In addition, the woman who works there (she's there most days, if not every day) is super nice -- she even offered me advice on a less expensive way to ship my package once!
