I was literally in & out in about 5 minutes total. That is not what I expected given that we are now into the Christmas season. The clerk who waited on me was pleasant, courteous, & worked in an efficient manner. Plus--now get this--he apologized for the wait. (Wish I had asked his name--my receipt says he is Clerk 77.). Kudos to the Midtown PO staff!!! They are doing an excellent job.

This post office is exclusively for people with access to base and not going to lie, if you've never been here you wouldn't know where to find the post office because there are no signs. It is tucked away on the first floor of one of the buildings. The clerks at this post office are always so kind and cordial and they do not hassle you like in other post offices in town. The post office itself is nice and neat and they are always stocked with a variety of flat rate boxes, even ones that you can't find in the regular post offices. These guys really set the bar for customer service and there is hardly ever a line. What else sets this post office apart from the rest? They always have a nice welcoming bowl of dum dums lollipops. On your way out there's nothing like eating your favorite dum dum and if you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of jets taking off.

If you are trying to get a birthday present to a dear friend or relative and didn't realize the event was so close , or if you waited until the very last minute to file your taxes you have the luxury of being able to drive to the post office by the airport and walk in and have someone there to hand stamp it or help you figure out the most affordable way to send it . The lines can be long at times especially on April 15 th . That's the procrastinators fault and we all are lucky we have a post office that's close that will help us make that deadline . The staff is always competent and patient . They are almost always friendly and sometimes even funny . I want to give a shout out to our airport post office and everyone who works there .

Because of their mistake, I had to come back and redo the exact same paperwork. When I calmly explained what happened, there was zero apology and zero accountability. They just notarized it again and acted like it was no big deal. Notary work requires precision and basic competence. This store showed neither. Their carelessness created real problems for me, and the complete lack of responsibility afterward made it worse. I would absolutely not trust this location with any legal or time-sensitive documents.
