It was crowded when I went there, but they got through the line quickly. I was really impressed how quickly they got my fingerprint scan done. Their customer service was also excellent. read more

I noticed last week that my Passport had expired in September. Most people can just go to Walgreens for their passport photo, however I'm a British Citizen with a British Passport, so the requirements were different. Upon Googling for providers in Anchorage, only Castech seemed able to help. And in fact, their website states that they will pretty much "get you sorted no matter what" which isn't quite how they order it, but that's how i took it. Anyway, i went over there today, and it seems a small family business, and i landed in there literally 1 minute before they were closing for lunch, so i offered to return after lunch. The lady was very sweet, and told me to come on back. She took my photo very quickly, and uploaded it, whilst she asked the gentleman what the British passport photo requirement was, and he knew it without having to look it up, which I am very impressed about, because i didn't have a clue. As i needed either a code to input on my online application, or to digitally upload it myself, i asked if it could be emailed to me. No problem at all. The cost was reasonable, we chose the most attractive photo, i was given a business card, in case anything went wrong, i paid and left (apologizing for rudely turning up at lunchtime) I got home, and uploaded my photo to the online application, and it was slightly too large for the UK required size, so I called Castech, and they instantly made it the right size, and emailed a new photo. It came within a couple of minutes of me calling. I am filled with admiration. I mean, this is how a business SHOULD be run. Super fast, knowledgeable service, i felt that I as a customer, had been put first, they wanted to help me, and instantly fixed the size requirement. I am so impressed by this small business, and have no hesitation in recommending their services, for Passport Photos for us foreigners. Bravo. read more

I've been coming here to get my fingerprints done since my line of work requires them. Every 5 years the background check expires and I have to do them again. My job gives me a price of paper and I take it to Castech and they bill my job. I was in and out in 15 minutes. As of 12/14/22 their hours of operation are 9-5pm M-F, closed on Saturday and Sunday. The workers are pretty nice, the one lady acted a little annoyed when people kept coming in but everyone was friendly and efficient. In addition to fingerprints, they do passport photos ($10), notoriety, and other services. I would recommend them! read more

Came here for passport photos, they were quick and painless and taken with a modern camera! They will take multiple exposures and let you select the best one. I'm pretty much a robot so all mine looked the same. The photos here are cheaper and better quality than most of the competition. Give 'em a shot. See in you 10 years... read more

Family business three generations . Very efficient, professional, and friendly people highly recommended

Fast and friendly service. I went here for passport photos and while there were five of us in the lobby entering at once they expedited quickly. The receptionist acknowledged each one of us as we entered to let us know she would be with us as soon as possible. It took maybe five minutes for them to take the photo (which they took multiples and I got to choose one) and print them for me. A quick $10 and I was on my way. Michael was funny and friendly and definitely made the visit enjoyable. read more

Very fast and efficient finger printing process :-) I went in and there was no wait and the staff was courteous. While you're waiting there are interesting posters on the wall about different types of fingerprints. Pretty neat! A swift process! read more

Been here a couple times for mah job. These people are awesome. The office is like something from the 70s, which is almost long enough ago to be cool. But these they get you in and out super fast which is awesome. I've never wanted longer than 2 minutes. Win! read more

Quick, helpful service. Staff was polite and valued our time. Location is convenient and there's plenty of parking.

I needed a photo for my passport renewal. I found the address and drove over there. There were several people filling out forms and getting things taken care of in the store. I asked about the passport photo. Got help immediately. I asked if they could run off a form I needed. No problem. No extra charge. I was so pleasantly surprised! I would definitely go back if I needed any documentation or fingerprints. Nice place. read more

Just read Andrew H's review and double it. Spousal unit and I had exactly the same experience for exactly the same reason so we may as well have the same review. Except now we can add that they seem to also be consistent! read more

We used Castech for passport picture after our original pictures from the post office were rejected. They went above and beyond to ensure the pictures would be approved for our small child. The pictures were approved. These guys are great and know exactly what is needed for a passport picture. read more

Terrible customer service. The guy was late opening the door, then rudely asked if I "needed help with something." Go somewhere else.
