We got some phones and one was over heating and hot and we just got it- the other company said it was battery related but we just paid for it and suppose to be new battery- and I got my phone fixed and paid for new battery and same thing- suppose to be a apple battery I paid for but I'm not sure it is- read more

I've gone here multiple times for multiple problems when it came to my phone and gaming devices and they were so helpful. Highly recommend!!

I'm so happy I stopped in. My touch screen on my cell phone was acting up. I was so afraid I would have to buy a new phone. I thought I'd try these guys out. I'm so glad I did. $125 later my screen was replaced, bought a new screen protector and they fixed another annoying problem with my phone. All done in less than an hour! I'm so happy I'll get more use out of my phone instead of having to buy a new one! read more

These guys fixed my broken screen and changed my battery. They are professional. Just remember to drain the new battery out and recharge 3x. I would come back here for my iPhone needs. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful. They repaired my laptop in less than 15 minutes. I will be back!

I sold an iPhone 8 here which was super easy. They also fixed my cracked iPad screen and put on a screen protector for me. They had originally told me it would be ready next day. But they ended up finishing within a few hours! They called me and kept me updated as well. Great service! read more

This place is fantastic! I had been putting off fixing my broken charging port for years (resorted to the wireless charging pads). Then my faceplate cracked and I decided to call around for help. HFW got me in the same day and gave me a discount on the cracked faceplate. So friendly and professional! Thanks guys! The whole team was lovely but special kudos to the guy who answered the phone with a thick scottish(?) brogue. ;) read more

I've come twice and each time I've left satisfied. That's what she said (Really, I'm not that vulgar, but I couldn't help myself). I've replaced a couple of batteries in different phones and recently replaced the charging port as the plug doesn't receive charge without maneuvering the charger and not touching it for the rest of the evening. Staff has been professional, courteous, and affable. Also, the Atari and Nintendo games in the corner to play and pass time is pretty awesome. Would come again in a pinch. read more

These guys are so stellar, I just have nothing bad to say about them. They're super polite, super helpful, fast, and provide excellent service and products. There is usually a wait when you walk in, but their great service and quality products make up for it. If you don't want to pay retail but don't want to wait for a phone ordered online, these are your guys. Definitely my go-to for future phone issues. read more

I will always recommend this shop to anyone who needs phone repairs or is looking for a good deal on a purchase. The staff is friendly and intelligent, as well as being reasonable and honest. I purchased a refurbished phone from them that ended up having issues and when I brought it back they replaced it with a new in box version for only a small price adjustment. They also have helped both of my roommates with phone issues and were very kind to my girlfriend when she was trying to sell her phone (despite being unable to give her an offer on the device). I never feel unwelcome and always feel like I'm getting a great deal. Oh also if you're lucky you can kick a ball around with Deshka, the best soccer playing dog in Anchorage, while you wait. read more

I was referred to Dan by another company. I walked in and the place was super immaculate. I have an older phone. The port broke and I was without a phone for a week. I can't begin to tell you how my whole life is in that phone. Dan did the repairs while I waited and it took about 15 minutes. I definitely would recommend for fair pricing and fast service. I will be back for accessories and another phone when I have the heart to replace my old S4. read more

Great customer service! Excellent work in a timely manner! Loved playing ball with dog while I waited!

They will sell you anything to get it out the store wether its good or bad... dont come here. Return policy doesnt exist and product mediocre for high quality price. 0 stars and fes up) read more

These guys are GREAT! I go water on my obsolete Iphone5 and I could not hear received phonecalls unless it was on speaker. They spent ten minutes on it and fixed it. I am so greatful! They were extremely reasonable andthey have saved my bacon before. read more

A friend recommended this place to repair my phone!! It was a wonderful recommendation! The High Freq team, were professional, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. The replaced my phone battery, installed a new screen protector and sold me a nice case. They complete all the work in about 30 min! Truly a very professional organization--highly recommend!! read more

Great service as usual. I always bring my phones here for repair from screen replacement to battery replacement. I've also purchased a used phone from here that was unlocked and in great condition. This last visit was great as usual. I initially took my daughter's phone to Batteries + for a battery replacement. The techs at Batteries + not only couldn't replace the battery, but they even fried the circuit board and gave me back a non functioning phone. Rather than take ownership, they blamed the manufacture of the phone. I took the phone to High Frequency and they were able to fix the circuit board and replaced the battery all at once. read more

Excellent service!! I destroyed my iPhone 6 Plus screen. They fixed it in under 45 mins and the manager (retired MSgt) gave me a free glass cover for serving in the military! Great small place with a big time customer/repair service!! read more

Very good experience here. My son broke an iPad and the Apple Store told me they COULD NOT fix it - this guy got it fixed in short order, replacing the glass for $160 and it works great - he even put a 30-day warranty on his work. Will definitely use this service again! read more

I am from out of town and broke my iPhone. I tried multiple places and one wouldn't even repair my phone because I bent the frame. This shouldn't have even mattered. I know first hand phone is repairable. Went to high frequency and in 15 mins my screen and frame was fixed! Offers 30 day warranty on repair as well. The customer service was beyond great! They even buffed out some scratches on the frame of my phone for me. I highly recommend this business. They also buy and sell cellphones! Cost me $170 total and well worth it. Looks better than it started as. Also I can tell by weight they used good quality screen and not the cheap China order screen most repair shops use! Love. If I break my phone in alaska I'll be back! read more

Originally I was a bit skeptical about this place. My mistrust was misplaced, however. I went in to buy a cheap flip phone because my iPhone 4S had suffered "water damage" according to the Apple Store in the 5th avenue mall. It would have cost $200 and my old phone to replace it. After discussing my issue, Howard quickly discredited the Apple Store and gave me the lowdown on what actually happened to my phone. Howard and his great tech John revealed it was a faulty charge port! The cost was a mere $60 compared to the $200 I would have lost out on at 5th avenue. Howard was very polite and efficient. John was quick and knowledgable. Definitely recommend these guys over Apple Store! read more

I was so excited to find this place not only had my screen available in stock for my LG V20, they were cheaper than any other place I called in town. Courtesy and professional service and even charged my phone while I was being repaired. I will be back for any other repairs and highly recommend them to others. read more

Amazing service every time, this is my go to when ever I trade in a phone or tablet, or if I'm in the market for one. The staff is amazing and friendly, they answer any question that you may have, and will even give you advice for the future, my recommendation every time. read more

I bought a pixel 2 xl and the camera was broken I asked for my money back and the owner said he'd not sell me a phone ever again also he should of checked the phone for problems before he sold the phone too me never going there again don't recommend that place and there shity service read more

High Frequency sells batteries to their customers that only last 3 MONTHS (water damaged batteries from old cell phones)! Once you bring it back to them 3 months later and they acknowledge their battery was horrible and they agree to give you your money back because their battery was crappy they'll only give you back half of what you paid for! Go to Cracked Wireless or Batteries Plus Bulbs instead for a cell phone battery -- Batteries Plus Bulbs will give you 100% refund if they sell you a crappy battery for up to six months. Also the owner is very rude and has horrible customer service. The sales people may be friendly but the owner is not. I wish I never spend a dime in this establishment (I spend over $260 there). read more

These guys are great. Have used them for various things, unlocking carrier, replacing battery, and making a repair to an iPhone that Apple said was not repairable. Fair and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend bring your phone here for any repair or if you think your phone just isn't working how you think it should, they can help you out. read more

Horrible horrible service! The tech replaced my screen with what she CLAIMS was Apple OEM certified she claims more resistant and shock absorbing on top of fact they cost more anyone else in town. She put screen on wrong messed up microphone nobody could hear me talk and my volume extra low at full volume and I have turn up brightness all the way. Ya the effed it up! A week later my phone fee a short distance ON LINOLEUM ON ITS BACKSIDE AND SHATTERED... ya no that was a fake cheapy they refuse to to do anything about it NEVER GO HERE read more

I was pleased to find out the price of my iphone screen replacement went down from $180 to $150. My iphone 7 had been run over by a truck when it fell out of my pocket when I went 4-wheeling and was completely destroyed, the housing was intact but the screen was so badly damaged that when I'd get a phone call, it would ring but not light up- just stayed black and shattered. They had it fixed for me in 45 minutes and I even got a reduced price on some optional (and highly recommended) tempered glass for having my phone fixed in their store, so not paying full price for that product was nice. They have an adorable and friendly little shop dog, she did a trick with a tennis ball with me in the store, she was fun to play with. I think her name was deshka(?) I would definitely recommend high frequency to anyone needing cell phone repair. All around good experience and the staff were very friendly and helpful! read more

The screen I got here is actual garbage, I got it four days ago and it already cracked from just normal use. Incompetent cashier.

I broke my iphone last night and needed it fixed ASAP because I'm on a business trip from Fairbanks and I'm flying out to Nome in the morning. I was in a bit of a panic since I'm not from Anchorage and I didn't know where to go to for immediate help. I was able to get ahold of my husband who was able to find these guys and tell them what was wrong, and that I was coming. Howard greeted me by name when I got there which was so nice. The guys here were so friendly and knew what was wrong right away (the screen was broken but it was internal so you could not visibly see the damage, except that it didn't work at all), and had my phone fixed within 15 minutes! They gave me a good deal, too and also helped me out with some other problems I was having with transferring photos from my phone to my tablet. The guys here are super knowledgeable and so friendly, which was such a relief after my huge panic I was having not able to use my phone! I am so glad I came here! Their little shop is clean and bright and was easy to find. My phone now is working great and with the new screen it looks brand new and even cooler than it did before! I'm so glad I didn't go out and buy a new phone! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I am so relieved and thankful! read more

Been there twice! Both times I had to stand and wait for service, but the lady in the corner would say hello but then look back down at what I think would be her personal phone, texting away! (while waiting for my items to be done I saw her do this to others) 1. Had my iPhone 4s screen replaced for $90, works great, has a few flickers but nothing I can't live with. Had to wait about an hour to get fixed. Then found out it was done in about 35min, but all the employees where doing personal task and not taking care of the six other people that where sitting with me. I watched at least three leave. 2. ( this time three different people helped me but always needed to check with the other to see what was going on) Two days after my screen was replaced my power button went out. Took it back in showed them the bill of sale for my screen, explained to them that prior to my screen repaired, all was 100%. The guy said let me check for you, came back and said will take care of it! Thinking they will replace it. So I wait another 30-40 mins, me while everyone is doing personal task that I watched people come and go. The guy comes back with my phone and hands it to me, "all set" he says, I was like "thanks"! He's like "that will be $60" I told him I was not paying $60 for that to be replaced, can I speak to a manager? The manger comes around, pretty sure the one who worked on my phone. I told him my phone was working just fine prior to them fixing my screen, he replied back "power buttons, don't last forever and we don't even touch the power button when we replace screens" I then said but your going to change me $60 bucks for a used power button?( the power button was very damaged, scratched and chipped up) I gave him my phone back and told him to put back in the broken one. He took my phone and a few mins later came back and was like "just take it, I more more important things todo" so I said thank you and left!! Will never go back, and won't speak well of this place! GCI is getting a bad rep because of this place! read more

I only have been twice-disappointed by this place. They misplaced my nephews iTouch for several months, saying that a container that it was in was placed upside-down...19 became 61, supposedly. It was an itchy couple of months because they would take my name and number but would not call me back, therefore I did not know if the iTouch was in safe and capable hands. I get iTouch back, several months later after numerous phones calls and pleas. It should have never gotten to that point. The second time, I thought the prior incident was just a simple mistake on their part. I took in my tiny Nano iPod in March, now several months later, after several phone calls and unreturned messages...they tell me that they can not put my iPod back together, it's still in pieces and that I forfeit my deposit of repair, because it is not their fault. I am not a tech savvy person but knew that all my iPod needed was a simple battery replacement and if I want to get my 700+ songs back, I need to purchase another device....WTF!?! I got that iPod for Mother's Day years ago, rarely found the time to use it and cherished it because my son gave it to me. It was not cheap and nor was it something he could afford at that age. BBB here I come....gonna get some sort of satisfaction. read more

High Frequency wireless is NOT reliable, NOT professional, and do NOT keep their word. I cracked my phone screen so I gave them a call to find out what it would take to fix it. I was told they had the parts on the way and they would be there in 2 days, so I OVERNIGHTED my phone to them. I payed $185 up front. I was told I would get a call when its fixed. A week later I had to call them for an update and they hadnt even received the parts, they told 5 to 6 business days it would be fixed and they would call me. A week later I called again and spoke with who I would assume is the owner, who said sorry for the wait it should be done in a few day and that he would credit my account for the shipping fee and personally call me to let me know when it's done. Didnt get a call for another 3 days, when I did it was a technician telling me I could come pick up my phone!!! I live 400 miles away. They shipped my phone the next day and I got it a week later. Never had money credited to my account. All in all took close to a month to receive my phone. Thanks High Frequency Wireless. Thank you so much. read more

These people are the BEST. My cellphone was grandfathered into an unlimited data plan and it was my only connection to the internet. When it stopped working, the wireless provider refused to allow me to transfer it to another phone. The only option left was to try and fix my 6 year old (ancient) phone. The folks at High Frequency Wireless listened to what was wrong and seemed to make it a personal effort to get it working. Within days the device is working again and I'm back to streaming to my hearts content. All at very reasonable rate, for the level of complexity and technical knowhow to resuscitate what otherwise would have been a junk phone. Thanks Ryan, and all the staff at High Frequency Wireless! read more
