I've gotten regular manicures that lasted a week and a half, and I've recently received a gel manicure which bubbled and chipped within 4 days. My sister was here as well and she commented on her gel manicure chipping within 3 days. You do get what you pay for, and it is cheaper compared to other places for a gel manicure. What helps them is the complimentary paraffin dip they provide with their manicures. However this place still does pedicures well, but if you're looking for an all inclusive service consider elsewhere. Because this place isn't it for manicures. read more

I am placing this review to warn all that purchase a gift certificate for a cash value from US nails. I am a disabled person and my daughter purchased a gift certificate for $25 and granted it was in 2016 but I in advertently put it in a pocket of her purse and forgot about it. When cleaning out my purse I saw the gift certificate and called and asked if they would still honor it since I know in the state of Missouri if you purchase a gift certificate for a cash amount there is no expiration date. I fully explain the situation and even the law in Missouri but to no avail.The manager was very rude and said too long my problem and that the ownership changed I said would you still not want to have good customer service and honor this he replied no and hung up so let the customer beware buying a gift certificate from US nails I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau also. read more

A pedicure was merely $22 and included paraffin wax! That's something you don't find that often. I went here looking for a simple pedicure with my grandmother and we went and they had a lot of options for colors and were very quick and kinda. The massage chair were amazing (hit the "knead" button to avoid shaking) and the massage of the feet and calves were so nice and extended that I can now die happy. I have been going here for several years and generally the experience is excellent! I always ask for Jackie (co-owner) or Annie, as they are both great! And the value is certainly appealing. Last week, I had a manicure and a spa pedicure for $37+ tip. The regular pedicure, which is really nice as well, is $5 less. They are pleasant, efficient, and the place is very clean. I love this nail salon! They always make my nails look so good! I've been trying to find a good nail salon that does gel and gets the almond shape nails perfectly! They also make the fake nails look thin and not thick like some other places. My first time coming here I loved how they constantly checked with you on the nail shape and length before they start painting your nails. My nails last up to 3 weeks! This place is awful. After getting an alright shellac pedicure, came the painful manicure.. The nail tech was in such a rush to get me out of there that she cut my cuticle so bad It didn't stop bleeding for a good ten min until she nail glued my cut with glue that was clearly used on other nails before. (Sorry I don't want nasty stuff in my open wound.) But oh well passed that part... The nails looked like they were a week or so grown out when finished.. They were uneven and honestly I don't know what in the world the tech was thinking about her job on my nails. I was polite, left a nice Tip. But nails like that are unacceptable for anyones standards. The next day my nails were re done at a different place. Don't waste ur money. read more

I love it here. It's right up the street from me which is super convenient, but everyone is so friendly! Kim is the woman who has been doing my mani/pedis for a while and she is so pleasant. I always run into issues because I --ahem--- bite my nails (which I'm unclear as to why this is now an offense worse than assault). She takes it with a grain of salt and affectionately refers to my nails as babies. I like that image. I have gotten pedicures, gel manicures, a full set and regular manicures (on the rare occasion I'm able to stop my biting) and I will definitely return. My technician rushed my manicure and applied my polish so tacky that I asked for a clear coat. She didn't appear to want to service me at all. My pedicure was okay for the price but I won't be returning to this establishment. They seem to appreciate business from a specific demographic. Update: I went to the shop 11/27/15 in the afternoon. The shop was not busy and the technician acted as if she didn't want to be bothered. The shop employee (Quang) may be offended by my experience but it's true. Do not get shellac.. They say it's guaranteed for 2 weeks if it peels come back and they fix it for free.. I get my nails done for vacation 3 days later it starts peeling 1 by 1.. I go back as soon as I get back it town 9 days later. They refuse to fix it. Worst nail place I have been to. Pay extra for something to last longer and peels off same amount of time.. read more

After the unpleasant experience I had at a nearby South County nail salon (Famous Nails next to the South County Mall), I was desperate to get a pedicure from a salon that was friendlier, cleaner, and within the same price range - cheap. Lucky for me a few minutes down Lindbergh took me right to US Nails in the Schnucks shopping center. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and received THREE friendly greetings from the staff working there. I was immediately escorted to a very comfortable massage chair. Widescreen TV was turned to Ellen (always a plus). My lady engaged me in small conversation but was not overbearing and did not press me for waxes or extra add-ons. She was very pleasant and did a great job. And she asked where I had gotten my fingernails done and how much they had charged. She pointed out politely that US Nails did offer the same service -- gel manicures -- for 19 dollars, rather than the 21 I had paid. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The whole establishment was bright, clean, and absolutely not tacky --- I hate tacky, 80's-esque nail salon decor. It's a huge turnoff for me. The massage chairs were wonderful, the staff was very agreeable. For a 20-something who wants to feel semi-luxurious for a half an hour without spending the extra cash that is standard with "nice" appointment-only salons, I think US Nails was perfectly fine and I will be returning. You can't beat a 22 dollar pedicure. read more

Best pedicure I've ever had, and I get one every other week at many salons because I travel a lot. Massage lasted for 20 minutes and was so relaxing. They even did a wax treatment on my feet. I was struggling with roughness after wearing boots for 6 months straight and have not found another salon that uses razors still - US Nails does and my feet as so so smooth now after that and the wax treatment. Awesome polish job too. They look great!! Can't wait to go back for a manicure. Prices are super super reasonable too. I called ahead for an appointment with Jackie. Spoke to Andy on the phone and he said that Jackie was available just come in. I told Andy it would be 20 minutes until I arrived. I don't live near the shop. When I arrived I stated what services I wanted and that I called to be seen by Jackie. Andy told me that Jackie had another customer. He also said "I don't know who gave you an appointment". I told him, that he did. I said okay, I'll wait for Jackie. He then told me that Jackie couldn't do my nails because I only come once a year and only regulars get appointments. He said none of this on the phone! He told me someone else could help me instead. I paused and then asked him to explain the no appointment rule again. He went on about running a business. I translated that my money wasn't needed, I walked out. I used to go to Jackie for over 10 years when she was at BSN. I followed her to US nails and stopped being a regular because Andy is always rude. In the past when I would make appointments he would always have Jackie do my pedicure but then want someone else to do my hands. I thought after sometime that things had changed. I guess not! I will not be back and I don't see how US nails has regulars with Andy horrible customer service. read more

I would not suggest anyone go here ever. I was visiting family and came to this nail shop to get my gel nails removed (which is generally a quick and painless process). And this shop had very good reviews. But it was horrible at this place, the lady took a new acrylic nails and started prying off my already glued on nails (which at my home nail shop they generally just let your nails soak off). It hurt so bad, and after forcing the nails off she got under my real nail and proceeded to almost pry it off too, mistaking it for the fake nail. I was in tears after leaving and they still charged me & my mom full price. Horrible service and hardly any concern for an upset client. I'm not from around here but my nail shop at home has never treated me like that! Was very disappointed and would highly suggest going elsewhere if your in this area! read more

One of the most relaxing manicures/pedicures I have ever received. They treat you like royalty.

First off I would like to start with I've never left a yelp review in my life before now!! This place is literally the worst place I've ever gone in my entire life to get my nails done.. tell dad that I had to download the yelp app.. lol first off they flew through my service because there was one person waiting.. she filed my nails down extremely thin to where it was almost to the nail bed... continued to apply my gel and only put only one coat on leaving them extremely thin and weak. I proceeded to check out and left a $10 tip even though I knew they were bad.. it's now been a week since I have had them done and almost every single one of my nails have split and peeled past my nailbed I can hardly even wash my hair in the shower without having a nail split and bleed.. I now have to wait until my nails get stronger to even get them done. I will never go there again in my life and I highly recommend you don't either. End rant. I hate them. read more
