Trish always gives me fair service. This is with and without an appointment. I always request her to do my nails and she takes her time to do them as I always want multiple colors or designs. I usually have different people do my pedicures, but my favorite person to go to is Kim. There was one time in which I needed to go back for my pedicure, but the issue was resolved immediately. I would only give four stars because I like intricate designs and sometimes they aren't able to do them. After seeing their rating on the website, I was disappointed to find that the technical skills at this salon need improvement. I received a French pedicure, and by the end of it, my right big toenail was completely mishandled and didn't match the left one. They put Hybrid gel on a tip and refused to sculpt a nail shape out of the gel. Of course the gel chipped and cracked off the tip. I had to go back twice the next day to have it redone. Yes twice in the same day due to the hybrid gel not being designed to go over tips ITS NOT ACRYLIC!! If they would have had the entire hybrid gel set they could have used the nail shape mold so they wouldn't have to spent so much time sculpting(which they never did just K'Ronn putting through hybrid gel over the tips they glue to my nail. read more

I am very disappointed in the recent "service" that I got at US Nails. I had an appointmentappointment, however, was not seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time. Tina, the lady who worked on my pedicure (who used to be known to do good pedi's) was super-sloppy. I chose a color and she started working on my nails, however, half way through the told me that the color waa old and she did not like it. I asked her to take the polish off because it did look bad, so she did. She found another color and started painting my nails again. This time she did an even sloppier job, applying the color all the way onto the cuticle which she did not remove enoughenough complaining that she was afraid to cut me. My nails looked sloppy - really, I could have done a better job myself. I had to leave without a re-do, because my lunch break was over. On top of that, Tina did a super-sloppy job with a pumice. It is safe to say she did nothing. One year ago when she was trying to get me as heher customer, she waa doing an amazing job. Now she is just careless and sloppy. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Hong is the male technician that did my pedicure just 1 day ago. He was very rude and annoyed when I told him he was cutting into my skin around my cuticles. He said my skin is dry. The polish application was very sloppy and he appeared agitated when I told him. He also was very creepy during my service asking me personal questions about my love life and telling me he wanted to date black women. He knew I was displeased at the end of the service and tried to sneak by telling me to take the Opi nail polish that he used to paint my nails home with me. I declined. I complained to the receptionist at checkout asking for a discount for the poor service. Hong rushed to the reception counter and kept speaking with her in their language. The receptionist said I still had to pay the full $28 for the service and whispered that next time I could go to a different technician. I told her there would never be a next time. I have been here before months ago and had the technician Tracy and she was great. Unfortunately, this last experience has left a very negative impression and I will not be returning. I've been a long time customer, but the service I received today was less than acceptable. My regular technician was out and I was paired with another technician. Not to be long winded, but I left incredibly upset needing another manicure and pedicure. Main points: feet - nails were cut well, stone barely touched the heels of my feet, Ingrown nail on my big toe it's kind of still there... and definitely no massage light petting. Hands: They were definitely cut short like I asked, but that's about it. They were not filed well they keep snagging on stuff. They're not filed well. I have to fix it when I get home. Been holding off to write this review for two weeks to see how well my nails would hold up. I've been going to this nail shop for a few months now when I'm in Baltimore and usually get their deluxe pedicure and or basic. I love the way my pedicures were done before my last visit. Anyways on my recent visit before Labor Day I opted to get a fill in of my coffin shape nails along with their basic pedicure just to see how well they would do. The person who serviced me was Tesse. The pedicure was extremely quick and seemed rush which was quite surprising since I sat down after another patron and finished before her and she also got a basic. It just didn't seem as relaxing as my other visits. Next my nails... they looked really good for the first day and then on the 2nd day I noticed the nail polish peeling on the side of my left thumb and toes. Not happy with that since I payed for a gel fill in with polish for nails and I wasn't wearing any close up shoes. I couldn't go back to the salon because I live over an hour away and only visit baltimore once a month. I would still recommend this place for a great pedicure. I'm still on the fence about my nails. I wouldn't recommend this salon. I can see why they only have a 2.7 rating. I was a walk in for a gel polish change. I am new to the area. I, unfortunately, had a few issues, but I'll try to be brief. I was so excited to see my favorite OPI color that was discontinued a number of years ago called Frenchie Likes To Kiss. As soon as she began polishing my nails it was obvious that they had tried to make this color on their own and it was some ugly iridescent lavender that had evidently been watered down as well, and not at all like the actual color. I wish they wouldn't have done this. When I asked why it looked different, I was yelled at. When she was finished, she wanted to use clippers to remive the polish on my skin bc she did such an awful job. I politely requested that she not do this and was yelled at again by both the manicurist and the owner. When I wanted to pay, she had to ask the owner what they charge. No price list, no prices on the wall. It sees to me that perhaps they charge dofferent Prices for different customers? She did an awful job and I'm going to have to go elsewhere to remove what she did and start again bc she left a lot of polish on my skin. I went here for the first time yesterday. I feel like it could have been done way better and as if my service was rushed. Tina did my toes and after getting my full set don't by Tina I had noticed that some of my toes were half way painted. My feet was was very quick as well. So I had to sit back down to get it re punted, which set me back on my time. I just find that unprofessional how you can let me get off your chair without making sure my toes look good especially as I'm paying 26 for a pedicure. Tina did my nails it isn't bad but again the pain could have been better I'm kind of a perfectionist but my dues were very simple so that's why I expected it to be on point. My mom later went and got a pedi and mani and it looks wonderful so I'm thinking maybe it's the fact that I got those two ladies, idk if I'll ever go back to this salon. I have to start off by saying that I've given this place a try on several occasions. I only went if I was in a jam or if I didn't want to trek to my other salon but now I'm completely done after my last experience. This shop is conveniently located but the quality of service, at least for manicures, is poor. I think I've hit my patience threshold. I recently walked in for a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine although the woman who performed the service is not the friendliest. I managed to make it through the pedicure and chalked it up to her having a bad and/or long day. However, her poor attitude only declined further as I transitioned to my manicure. She was extremely rough, rude, and honestly a sad person. She clearly didn't want to be there. I said all the "pleases" and "thank yous" in the world but it didn't make a difference in terms or her attitude or service. I couldn't even soak my nails for a second before she started cutting into my cuticles. I expressed to her that she was being a little too rough and she calmed down...a little. Once done, I kindly asked if she could clean up the polish that seeped onto my skin and she breathed a heavy sigh and acted like it was hard to see the polish. Everything was either rushed or it bothered her. She failed to even ask how I wanted my nails shaped before she started filing away. I have never had this bad of an experience with any service. I typically get three layers of polish at other salons with no issues; however, she did not allow the gel to completely dry before adding another coat. The polish appeared lumpy and now three days later I have air pockets and chipped polish. I contacted the manager who told me to come in and get the nails repaired but when I arrived she wasn't available. To her credit I spoke with her before I left and she assured me that she would remember not have the same person work on me again but there's still something missing from a quality aspect. Typically gel manicures last longer than two weeks (for me three) but for some reason mine never do at this place. I have to say I really liked the manager and have previously met more pleasant staff members. I was able to tolerate getting an "okay" manicure in a pinch so long as the customer service was appropriate but this experience was far from relaxing. It was almost like a chore for the manicurist. I understand why other places charge more when they provide better customer and quality service. On top of that I always tip very well...it's not every day that I get a chance to pamper myself so every trip, for the most part, should be a pleasant experience for both parties. We're all human and anyone can make a mistake but after this experience I'm completely turned off and disappointed. I definitely wasted my money and my time for the last time. read more

Went here thinking it would be nice, while on the cheaper side. I normally go to Walmart for my acrylics (I normally do my own glue on nails) since it's only 25$ for a full set and they do a good job to my standards, but when I called they were full up and I wanted to get my nails done with my visiting friend before she left tomorrow. So we go and don't have to wait, which was nice, and see the prices are 30$ for a full set (not bad at all) and I believe around 15-20$ for a manicure for my friend. To make a long story short, I end up paying 40$ for longer nails, which I don't mind paying if the nails are you know long, and my friend pays I think 35$, she did have dipped nails that she needed to take off but I specifically heard the stylist say that would be an additional 5$, again that she didn't mind paying for. I have no idea how the total came to be 35$. With my stylist the first thing I ask is if she can duplicate the length and shape of a picture I liked online and she says sure, no problem. Come to find out, big problem. If you look at the pictures, ignoring the colors I wanted different ones from the reference picture, they look nothing alike. So at the end of the day, we don't have the energy to cause a fuss, we pay and leave. When we get back to the house I end up redoing most of my friends manicure myself. We're not happy. Definitely will not be returning and learned a good lesson about reading all the reviews. read more

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Pikesville, but now I live in Canton so this is no longer my regular spot. I was a bit surprised when I came in and wasn't greeted immediately. The woman at the front desk was busy and didn't say anything to me or even look at me for a few minutes, so I had to wait for someone else to ask what I wanted done. Normally that wouldn't bug me, but the service here has always been fast and efficient in the past, so it was odd. While it was very crowded (and always is on Saturdays) I only waited about 2 minutes and then went back for my eyebrow wax. The woman was very nice and she did a great job! The prices here are also very reasonable - certainly better than nail salons in Canton. While I typically only get my eyebrows waxed here, I have gotten pedicures and manicures in the past and have always been satisfied with the service and quality. The staff is very friendly, our pedicures are always perfect and long-lasting. The prices are modest ($26 for basic pedicure, $31 for pedicure plus sugar scrub).
