Last time I came here was Mid-May and i'm just getting around to write Yelp reviews. I will not be returning. I had a pedi and gel nail fill. I asked for the total before giving Chau (the owner male) my card and I asked/said "wow, that's high.. what's the price breakdown". He tells me it was for "nail art". I literally had glitter nail polish. So i asked, does it cost more for the gel gliter polish? He then says xyz for toes xyz for nails. By this time he's starting to get loud about their pricing. I told him to just charge my card for what he's owed, meanwhile he's just getting louder and louder with me. In the salon at this time was his wife, a mom and her middle school aged daughter all listening/looking. I told him too that all i did was ask for a price break down because i could not recall paying that amount for these 2 services before. Even asking him if the prices changes (because, in reality, they do). I felt unsafe and threatened for asking about the price of services. and vowing to never return and i haven't. Meanwhile as he was filling in my nails, he was cussing to someone on the phone and about a chain of text messages he was involved in. Not professional at all. Too bad, this place was convenient where i would even come and give them my business during my lunch break. I would warn everyone to stay away. read more

Im the dummy who has stayed loyal even when they do less then a sub-par job, just In and out with little attn. paid to the job they are supposed to do. No names but, of Pikesville. Enough about that, I found a gem. I very much wanted to gate keep my new little secret. It's not new , I just lucked out . Reasonable $, efficient, with results you wanted and/or asked for. This place is very interesting. I couldn't give them a review just the first time. So I was going to Bella Nails which was armed robbery and It took 2 years just to get a damn appointment sometimes. So my Eyebrow lady referred me to come here but this by far has been the most interesting place ever. I think they can use some updates! I guess if I want five star service I will have to pay the money huh? Sooooo a list of things that I find interesting... 1. There is a guy that works there... He calls everyone sis. Not too sure how I should take that. 2. I got a pedicure one day and they actually polished my toes first and than had me soak them. I still don't understand the concept. 3. So my favorite color is yellow so when I requested yellow polish I was told that none of the yellow polish looked right... I requested it ANYWAY.... and it actually looks fine. Still confused in regards to why they said that... 4. I got my nails painted one day and the artist decided that he wanted to do his own designs and charge me $15 for them. ummmmm I didn't pay and as a matter of fact I disliked them so much that it didn't last a week. Ive been a customer of this salon for over 3yrs now. And I love it! To know Ti and Chau (the owners) is to LOVE them! Ive read the other reviews about the profanity that occurs in the salon...and I cant say that it's not true. Chau is a fun loving person and he loves his loyal customers. Its a very relaxed fun environment to get your nails done. Its not a stuffy snooty salon by far! Ti and Chau take the time to talk to their clients and to get to know them. They both are very personable people. He has clients that have been with them for decades! He has children of his own...so I cannot imagine him knowingly being disrespectful towards a 4yrs old. I have a 5yr old and Ive brought him along to my nails appointments a few times. Chau loves kids! My son even broke a dish while playing and Chau just laughed it off and thought nothing of it! But keep in mind that Nail Reflections Salon main clientele are adults who like it there bc they can use adult words and discuss adult things. Its not a daycare, or a playground!! This place was very dirty. Worst of all, I did not see any of the instruments coming out of sanitary containers with the disinfectant solution. Dust everywhere. I didn't feel comfortable being there. I used to go here years ago and stopped because Chau(the owner) would over charge me for not coming every 2 weeks.I came ever 4 to 4 weeks because that is what I could afford at that time. 6 years later I decided to give him another try. After being in the salon waiting for his 2 year old to stop throwing up he tried to charge me $50 for a gel set. I told him I will NOT pay that amount. He said that is how much he charge. I had a few people call since than and he said it is $25. Most people in the area charge $30 so I ended up telling him I am not paying no more than 40. He said okay but only thugs time. They do not have a price up because he want to charge certain people certain prices but he doesn't know. He did the wrong person this way. Not only that he curse all the time. read more

All of the staff are so sweet, friendly and professional. I always get incredible customer service and many compliments afterwards. They constantly offer a huge selection of colors and recognizable brands. Whether it is a last minute or in advance appointment, you are good to go. They always do their best to satisfy you. I've been having my nails done here since they opened approximately 11 years ago. It is owned by Ti and Chau who are the best, nicest people you will ever meet! To top it off they do a perfect job. I have acrylics and I've never had a nail break! The manicure looks fabulous for at least 2 weeks. They also do not nickel and dime you.
