She talked with myself and another new customer. She made me feel comfortable as she and the other staff always does. She did my nails just as I asked and added a snowflake design as extra. I was really tired after a long days work, but the delightful, and positive energy work me up. My nails turned out beautifully. I am quite pleased with their prices, excellent customer service, and the finishing product of my nails. I've been coming their for almost two years and refuse to go anywhere else. As the nail tech was prepping my nails, I noticed all the sample nail designs and thought, Oh, she knows how to do designs. With that in mind, I decided to get acrylic tips instead. I shared a video with her showing a cat-eye French tip design I wanted. As she started working, I felt the nails looked too dark, but I tried to trust the process. She finished one nail and asked for my opinion. I asked if it was the final product, but due to a language barrier, she called over a man I believe is the owner. He explained that the nail wasn't finished and there were more layers to add, so I said okay. When everything was done, she executed the design perfectly, but it was much darker than I wanted. I had hoped for a pink design but left with a dark pink and greenish-looking nail. I tried to love it but couldn't, so I returned the next day to request a color change. Initially, the owner implied I would need to pay for the redesign, but when I explained that I had expressed my dissatisfaction the day before, he agreed to fix it at no charge. Because of this good customer service, I decided to give them another chance, but I opted for a different nail tech this time and requested Michael. During my fill, I had to point out areas where the nails weren't shaped correctly. Even during polishing, I had to ask him to go over spots he missed. I asked for blue chrome nails with glitter, and he initially said it was possible. However, after prepping my nails, he called over a coworker, showed him the picture, and then told me he couldn't execute the design. As a result, I left with plain nail polish. Michael was apologetic and said they'd have the chrome powder next time, but by then, the experience left me disappointed. The staff is nice, and I appreciate that they allow both appointments and walk-ins. However, there's something about the vibe of the salon that feels off, so I won't be returning. That said, if you're in a pinch and need something affordable, they might be worth a try.

I had my first appointment here on September 4th for a full acrylic set with gel polish. I have no…read morecomplaints about this set, and all nails remained in tact with no lifting until my fill. I made an appointment for a fill on Saturday, October 11th because the original set was holding up so well. During this appointment, I had the nail tech make the shape a bit more to my liking and did a simple French tip design. During the appointment, I noticed that (unlike other fills I've gotten), she did not go around the base of the nail to clip any potential lifting-- she just went straight into applying a new layer of acrylic. I'm not the professional, so I didn't think anything of it. The design came out beautiful, and I was again happy with the service. Unfortunately, two days later on Monday, October 13th, half of a nail popped off when I was wiping my hands. The acrylic popped off, but did not cause any damage to my nail underneath. They are closed Tuesdays, so I called on Wednesday to ask when I could come in to have the nail fixed. Ordinarily, when a customer is inconvenienced because of an application error, I would expect the service provider to correct it immediately. Instead, they told me to come in Thursday. I was slightly disappointed, but agreed. On Thursday, October 16th I went in and got the nail fixed. During this appointment, the nail tech noted she filed down too low on my nails and checked the integrity of the rest of the nails. She fixed the broken nail, and I was on my way. Two days later on Saturday, October 18th, I knocked a different nail on the stove. I've been getting acrylic nails for a decade and have jammed my nails much much worse and not caused any damage. This was merely a graze on the top of the stove. On Sunday, October 19th, I realized that this caused a crack in the middle of the nail. With some finesse, I was able to get the tip off without disrupting my natural nail, but this had already caused a complete tear to the middle of my nail bed, so I had to clip my natural nail down. Within a week of getting the fill, I've had two nail breaks and this was not due to any aggressive treatment to my hands. Worse, this second break has gone down to the middle of the nail bed, so I can't get this fixed. This is a luxury service and this shop has add on costs for everything (including for certain shapes). I can't, in good conscience, recommend this shop or its technicians because there are clearly quality assurance issues. The only reason I would return is to get the rest of this set soaked off because it is clearly a hazard. For the price, absolutely unacceptable.
