Since new ownship, my experience has been horrible. I have been a committed customer since there move from Owings Mills Mall. Being able to communicate, being consistent and being comfortable is very important to me. My Current experience there was very frustrating, please have someone there that can understand and speak English fluently, Respectfully . I visited this nail salon on Saturday for a manicure and pedicure, and unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the experience. I waited a few days before writing this review to see how the nails held up, and as shown in my pictures, the polish is already chipping off in chunks--practically falling off. For $66, I expected way better quality. From the start, I could tell the service wasn't great, but I stayed quiet to avoid conflict. I was charged $5 for gel removal even though my toenail polish was already coming off on its own (and it was regular polish, not gel). I also paid $6 for callus removal, which I initially didn't mind, but now, less than 72 hours later, my calluses are already back--so it clearly wasn't done properly. The $35 pedicure and $25 manicure were not worth it. My nails look awful, and the polish is peeling like I did them myself at home. If this is the best option near my school, I'd rather travel all the way home for my nails because at least there, my polish lasts, and my feet actually feel smooth for weeks--not just for a day or two. I do not recommend this salon based on my experience. The service was poor, the results were terrible, and I wasted my money on something that didn't even last. I was in the area for a hair convention, I was trying to to get a pedicure in my local area but it was way to crowded and I didn't want to wait, so I decided after my event that I would go to the nearest nail salon I ran into which happened to be this one. Gia did my pedicure and I was very pleased with the amount of time she took on my feet as I don't often get pedicures. Gia made me fell so comfortable and made me feel as if I could completely relax which I took full advantage of knowing that she was providing the utmost attention patient and care . This place is my go to place. I am a total nails diva. And i tried million salons all over the area. Some fancier and pricier. However. I have to say. This place has some gems for nail tech. Sarah. Sunny. Robert. Gia. All are great. Sarah is a design guru. She is quick and creative. Robert and sunny are very thorough. And do quality. Gia's nails last forever. They have couple techs just for pedicures. They are good. Some better than others. But they all are really nice. Place is clean. And have lots of color choices. One issue is appointment and timing. You can make an appointment. But expect to wait past your time. Up to 45 min. Not always. But it's definitely one issue. But i know it. So i am willing to wait for quality. read more

Terrible experience ! First visit , I walked in and everyone was on their phone and didn't assist me in help right away ( I was the only person there as well) . Once I got assistance they were extremely rude and changed their price to $10 for a color change on a pedi. Most places only charge $5. The lady who did my pedi was rude and rushed my pedicure , didn't put on gloves , didn't speak , clean feet off and even got upset when my foot wasn't correctly placed on the towel . Had the worse experience at this salon! Called before coming to make sure they had the glow in the dark powder I had on my nails, and Tony told me yes! Got here and it took 2.5 hours for my paraffin pedicur! She had to repaint my big toe 3 times because she was rushing the gel polish to cure so it was wrinkled! When it came time for my nails to be done she dropped me off to tiny station where he rudely told me "go wash your hands" I washed my hands and came back and said before we start there's no need for you to talk to me like that and he got up saying " well she can do your nails! she proceeded to say she can't do it because she was leaving they switched me to another tech who told me they don't have the glow powder and didn't know how to do ombre! When I first walked in No one said Hello, anything. That was the first mistake. I should have ran out once I could not get a hello! To say hello is free and effortless. It (SHOULD) just automatically come. I sat there for about three minutes before someone acknowledged me. I had a guy named Robert approach me and told me to come to his chair. From the start I did not like his energy and he made me feel real uncomfortable. He was very aggressive and rough and I hated it. It was so bad that I pulled out my phone, went to yelp and immediately read the reviews because I wanted to know if this place suck or if my expectations were too high? And by the way no one still ever said hello or anything. It was cheaper than the $50 that I pay for when I normally go to a nice upscale place but I have tried the cheaper places and they give me an itch. I just want an even balance. The staff is not qualified to be in this profession. They lack basic customer service skills as well as talent.The woman that attempted to do my nails didn't even greet me when I said hello to her. She was very distasteful. I came to get a fill in as well as a pedicure. The man that did my pedicure was either doing a rush job or he wasn't qualified for the task. It could be either one, however; I'm just so taken aback by the quality of service. The woman shaped my nails wrong and then accused the previous nail tech of the error. Which was irrelevant for her to even say when all I asked was could she simply FIX them. Her trying to have a discussion about how she didn't shape my nails wrong instead of simply answering my question. My nails are very crooked especially my pinky and I can assure you I didn't leave my previous nail tech shop with every single one of my nail pointing in a different direction. None the less I wasn't going to go back and forth about the matter , I just simply wanted it to be fixed. As if the lack of professionalism couldn't get any worse she pushes my hand away and then parts her lips to ask me, the client if I want to shape my own nails. After that foolish question I told her that I no longer want to continue with the service. She then accused me of not wanting to pay for the full service as a reason for me wanting to discontinue with her. Which I find quite hilarious. I've paid the same exact price for my nails at the previous shop I went to and tipped! They deserved the price for their talent and superb customer service. I would recommend that anyone looking to get their nails done take their service to Bella Foundry Row Nail Salon and Spa Owings Mills. They have superior customer service and posses the talent required to be nail technicians unlike the technicians at Nail Splash 2. I will be doing a review on my social media platform and pictures will be included. Just to show you the heinous work that nail splash presents. This establishment does t even deserve the 1 star unfortunately. I wrote to whst I would assume is the business owner and this is the response verbatim. "Nail Splash II: OMG, sorry for the bad experience. We were probably very busy. But it could not be the right excuse for this issue. My apology for your unsatisfied services. Please call us ASAP to get it fixed. Thank you." I called the number and it went straight to voicemail and then texted the following: "You're absolutely right it's not an accuse at all. Your staff is very disrespectful as well as rude. I appreciate your apology and want to know what you will be able to do to rectify this situation. As you can see my nails are completely crooked and nothing about my pedicure is precise. I will also provide you with the previous nail techs work. Im not giving this place a star rating because i have not experienced all the workers in the salon but the one i had acted like she did not want to help me. I paid for the pedicure with the extra massage and all she did was lotion my legs, no massage. When i asked her about it her response was less than helpful and then she talked to her coworker in another language (maybe about me) she was rude!! The staff was nice and I enjoyed my overall experince except the nail tech didn't ask me how I would like my nail shape and she filed them to square with very pointy edges. She also went out of her way to suggest I spend $20 on a callus removal I did not need. Also, not one day after getting my gel manicure BOTH my mother and I had multiple nails chipping. I have been a loyal customer for 4+ yrs..... Cindy did my pedicure, which she did an awesome job, per usual!!! My problem came at the end. When it was time to pay I was informed that the price was higher than the price sheet. I advised I made my decision of what type of pedicure I would be getting based on the price sheet at the station. I even advised I could get it and show it to them. Even with their price sheet I'm their hands they insisted on charging me the current price that I wasn't aware of. I had cash to pay for my pedicure and tip. The nail tech and the gentleman at the desk didn't know what to do. Then the "manager" Sarah, came and said the same thing they said the price was incorrect on the price list. I still remained calm and explained the above logic and how they had the wrong price and should honor it..... they did not. She eventually took $5 off which was still higher than it was supposed to be. When I asked her for the correct price so I could write it down for next time to ensure I had enough cash, she said "Next time we won't welcome you". This had me beyond shocked. They already had a rude incident with another customer while being serviced and the tech talked about the customer to other customers loudly. This was very unprofessional!!!! I want to start by saying that ordinarily, I have a great experience here and have even recommended it to friends by word of mouth before. Ultimately, I like the way my nails look but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I got to the shop around 11am and sat patiently until about 12 (because walking into a hair or nail salon on a weekend means that you have to be patient). However, I noticed that one woman who definitely walked in the door way after I did was shown to a mani station. I flagged down a passing manicurist and asked if they were adhering to the sign in list by the door because the lady had just arrived. If she had an appointment, my annoyance would have lessened but I didn't see any staff periodically checking the sheet, just greeting people and directing them to stations. Magically, after I begin asking questions, I get shown to a seat. The man goes through the process of clipping, buffing, etc., but it is clear that he is rushing and attempting to cut corners--note that I have been here many times and generally expect how the process is going to go. I feel like my cuticles were left ragged, I wasn't instructed to go wash my hands before color was applied like I usually am, he didn't massage my hands or use cuticle oil as has happened before, and he set the gel baker to 30 seconds instead of 60 like usual. I smudged a nail because they weren't dry when I removed them. He seemed annoyed that he had to fix it and then charged me extra for the repair before I'd even left the shop! I started to raise a fuss about that since it jacked the price up an extra 5 or 6 dollars, but I decided that the joke is on him since the change from my normal cost was to be a tip. I've had so many good experiences here that I am not sure if I want to abandon Nail Splash II completely, but today definitely gave me pause. read more

This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I was in the area and wanted to try somewhere new. The guy that did my nails took a very long time and had a very hard time filing and shaping all the nails to make them look even. Also, he made the acrylic way to thin to the point where they were all cracking and coming off within a couple days. Then, I decided to just take them off after having to go back several times to get them repaired from falling off. When I removed the acrylic off my middle finger, I discovered I had a nail fungus under. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and have never had this happen EVER. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I thoroughly enjoy this salon and that says a lot as I am as picky as it gets. I've been going every 2.5-3 weeks for fills, and the occasional pedicure. The only problem I've ever encountered there was with the one male technician. He's very friendly, I just noticed he's a bit more heavy handed and makes my acrylic very very thin. With that being said though, everyone else I've had service me was friendly and attentive. When I request them be "as rough as possible" with my feet they oblige. (Extremely ticklish and need a heavy hand on my feet.) If you ask for something specific they will take the time to fix it or make it the way you want. Pricing is not bad here either - I've been to "higher end" salons, where they charge a lot more for the same quality work. I've been coming here for quite awhile. Not bad, but definitely not great either. However, tonight was something completely different. I needed a fill and something was telling me not to come here. I knew they wouldn't be crowded and it's a short drive. I get there and there were three techs. One was doing a pedicure and the other two were talking while one was doing the others nails...I had to wait...should've left then. The lady who did my nails had the WORST ATTITUDE EVERRRRRRR!!!!! She seemed so annoyed. I said hello, she said nothing. She showed me some nails in her phone and rushed me to pick a color. I showed her what I wanted, and had to attempt to pick the color of the picture SHE showed ME lol I picked a light pink.....she then puts this loud neon pink on my pinkie and said "is this what you want?" Huh lol that's nothing like what I picked from the samples....they're numbered so I'm not sure where the disconnect was. I told her that wasn't the right color so she I showed her what I wanted. She barely takes the neon pink off before applying the right polish. At this point, I figured she was having a bad day... but nah, she completely rushed through my nails, coughing and talking to her coworker. All I'm going to say is NEVER AGAIN! I asked for a deluxe pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've ever had. She took her time with callus removal (I wear heels to work every day and I'm a runner so there were a lot of calluses) she also took her time exfoliating my legs and did a wax coat on my feet.
