I have been going to Dipa to get my eyebrows done for what, 7 years now. She is located in Owings Mills where I used to live. I live in the city and still drive out there to see her. I don't trust anymore else with my eyebrows. Her shop is very clean, she always has some good jams playing too. Disrespectful and careless. I was new customer, she embarrassed me in front of other customers loudly saying how asymmetrical my eyebrows are and that she could not fix such an issue. I stupidly stayed and told her that I understand, and to do her best. That time, she did an alright job. But--when I came in my second time, she BUTCHERED my brows. I have NEVER seen them this bad and the hair isn't growing back--she took out a patch of hair on my left brow, and the hair has still not grown back after a month!! When I called to tell her about the problem, she rudely said it was my hormones and proceeded to tell me to find someone else. This was my FIRST TIME! Yep, threading virgin here. And it was an experience. The place is unassuming. I came with my partner who was getting her eyebrows cleaned up. I asked her if she had an appointment since we just happened to be in the area. She did not, but got in the chair quickly. I thought to myself, I'd like to give it a try. Hmmmm.... interesting. AND how? I'm so curious. How does she hold the thread? Anyway, Dipa was friendly and cleaned my brows right up. I can't even describe the feeling. QUICK for sure. And she's so precise. After threading my brows she placed some gel on them as it was a bit...... painful is not the word, but maybe like a rug burn? Something. The place is clean. Our trip was quick. Extremely dissatisfied with my services received today ( Upper lip and chin threading ). I typically always go to the same 2 salons for years now and never have any issues for facial threading. Well Today I was running errands and decided to stay closer to home so I searched for nearby threading services and came across Dipa's. I like sticking to the same consistent places when I like the results. But again. Came to Dipa's for convenience for my day. I was rushed out of the chair after my services and ANY and every time I am serviced by another salon they give me a mirror to check the results and see if I'm satisfied or if they missed anything that I can see. She did not do that whatsoever. Once my services were done she rushed me out of the chair. After I left I noticed my lip was very irritated & had small bumps from how aggressively she threaded it claiming that she just does it "fast" .. I NEVER have that issue even tho I do have sensitive skin. there was sooo many hairs Still left on my lip and my chin. When noticed i called to see if the results could be fixed and she told me come back & when I mentioned and showed her she became defensive and dismissed and disregarded what I said I did not yell or get loud I just expressed that I was disappointed & to shut me up she didn't even remove the extra hairs she just basically wanted me to get up again and receive a refund so her other customers did not hear my feedback on how she serviced me. Just because you have consistent clients doesn't mean your work is good. Take your time alittle more and you'll have EVEN more returning clients. And you'll actually do a clean and efficient job. Not just a quick one. Your returning clients probably only come for convenience within the area. I'll travel further out from home like I already was for better service and results. read more

I like coming here. Dipa is very friendly and enjoys taking care of her clients. The only service I have done is waxing. She's good. Very fast. I think she's also fast because she is trying to service as many customers as possible because she is short staffed. Aside from that she listens to you. Now this ain't no Four Seasons 5 Star Spa however it's nice to have a waxing spot in the neighborhood. Oh she does threading. I love threading because for me it lasts way longer than waxing. I'm so excited about the opening of a threading salon in my backyard. Right now, the spa is only offering threading services, but the owner informed me they would soon be adding piercings (for the face only). There are four stations and currently just the owner is doing the threading. She was quick and thorough. She clipped stray hairs and brushed my brows when done. She applied lotion, although I like alcohol rub after my threading. $11 for your brows. I'll be back because of the convenience and service. read more

Dipa has the potential to be great but she's extremely busy and popular and I literally had my fastest eyebrow threading ever. I think I waited longer than she actually threaded them. On the plus, they were much cleaner than the other threader, but the shape was poor and she slightly created a gap. I went to the other threader who works from the back chair on my first visit. My eyebrows did not look or feel clean. There were stray hairs everywhere and I was displeased. I'll be looking for someone new. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love Dipa! I have been coming here for years and did even realize that I never did a review. I come here for threading and facials. I've gone to expensive spas that charge double for the facial that I get here. Well, can you keep a secret? The expensive facials cannot compare to the facials you get here. I literally come out looking like a new person! Dipa even does ear piercings. She did my daughter's when she turned 4 and although my daughter was mad at her because it stung a little. Dipa work never disappoints me but her attitude does. When discrepancies happened she does not know how to have a conversation that may lead to a solution. She gets angry and starts to yell and talks about how you can go somewhere else. I just don't believe that's the tone you should have with someone who's been going to you for years. So after today I will no longer be attending her salon or receiving services from her. I am very loyal to anyone that does a great arch. Even though I have very thick eyebrows, it's hard for anyone to get it right. I usually get too thick, too thin, or just not right. I tried Dipa one day when she briefly worked in the hair salon I go to. Dipa is phenomenal! She gets it right every time. I get my brows threaded. She's quick and very personable. She knows what she's doing. If someone has jacked up your brows she will "rehab" them and get them right. Brow threading costs $12. I've never been serviced by anyone other than Dipa although there's usually one other lady there. Dipa offers a variety of services and also has a nail tech working there. The spa is in a strip mall, so parking is easy. It is also very clean and vibrant. I recommend Dipa to anyone needing fabulous arch! read more

I first met Dipa when she was working at another spa and immediately fell in love with not only her attention to detail but her speed. In Dipa I found the golden egg :) I walked in around 5pm on a Saturday with two people ahead of me and I was in and out in no more than 10 minutes! I went for eyebrows threading to this place and never going again. I had all cuts and blood on my upper eyebrow. When I asked her she said its small cut apply some lotion.
