It seemed like two employees handled nails, while one focused on pedicures. I explained what I wanted and was told there would be a bit of a wait. I planned to remove my current acrylics and start fresh. After looking at my nails, Lele recommended I try dip powder. I'd tried it once years ago and wasn't a fan, but she was persuasive, so I gave it another shot. I chose a natural-looking pink for my hands and paired it with a gel pedicure, which her sister handled. The visit took several hours due to their limited staff, but the team was so friendly and accommodating that the time passed quickly. Before I left, Lele gave me a card and suggested booking an appointment next time to avoid the wait, as they're short-staffed. I'm not sure about their ability to do intricate designs on long nails, but while I'm sticking with short, natural nails, this will definitely be my go-to spot. read more

Kind of disappointed with this place. It was fine and the people were friendly enough just like every other nail place. They have a "menu" of options for pedicures. My mom and I were going to do option 3 which was the spa pedicure ($40 each) and they never even asked us what we wanted. They just gave us the basic package ($27 each). Their loss. The most annoying thing was that my mom and I sat side by side and I watched her get a foot massage and other things I did not receive, yet we paid the same thing. So not only were we not offered a different upgraded package, we paid the same and got two different services. Will have to try a new place next time. read more

Wanted to try a new nail salon in the area different from the usual one. I tried this place and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly! The massage was better than any other place I've gone to, and the nail tech was incredibly thorough and detail oriented (did not get her name). She mentioned that they have regular customer and they have been open for 15 years. The place is not fancy like the new nail salons, but this is not needed when the service and work is so good. I had to run errands up in lutherville so I stopped here since it was in the same vicinity as the stores I needed to go to. I'm so glad I stopped. It was a great experience. I got the deluxe pedi And she took her time with the pedicure and the foot massage was great. Everyone was nice despite me being a walk in. She also didn't shortcut and cheese grater my feet to get the dead skin off which when others do it, just causes more dry skin. The light diffusers have a cloud motif which is delightful. I wish the city had a place this great for nails. I will have to make the trip back up here from now on. It's worth it. read more

My absolute favorite nail salon. They "nail" it ever time. I've been going here religiously for over 15 years....when I began it was just a basic Mani and Pedi, then gel polish and now dip (powder). When i got to the Lele went back and forth with me for 5 minutes about what I wanted done. She asked me multiple times the same question over and over as if she couldn't comprehend what a fill in and to fix one broken nail. It was as if she didn't want to do my nails. Then she proceeded to ask me do I know the price. I never asked for the price, I've been going to the shop for a year now. I was highly offended, she does not treat the Caucasian customer in this manor. Which makes me believe it was because I am black. Highly disappointed and will never go here again. Went by here because my typical nail salon was rented out for the night. I had never tried Le Le Nails and I'm glad I finally did. I called ahead and they advised we could walk in. When we got there two other women had just walked in but they worked extremely hard and fast to get us seated and attended to. Everything seemed pretty clean and well maintained. My one complaint is that they didn't have a lot of regular nail polish color options. They had a bunch of options but they were for dip or gel I believe. I was looking for a dark green and my nail tech went above and beyond to bring me all the options that could work. I got a pedicure and manicure. The massage chair felt great and worked really well. A lot of times they get uncomfortable about halfway through but that wasn't the case. My husband's chair didn't work though so he was bummed. My nail tech did a great job. I was the last one in the salon and they didn't rush me or make me feel awkward. Instead they actually talked to me while I was there and were super friendly. I never trusted anyone to do my eyebrows and always had bad experience with eyebrows waxing. Mrs. Le Le (the owner) was sooooo welcoming and friendly. She took her time with my eyebrows and made sure I felt comfortable and relaxing. She didn't rush through it and asked every now and then if I was doing okay. I'm really not a manicure person but every once in a while a girl's cuticles just need some attention. Le Le Nails is owned and operated by a Vietnamese woman named (shockingly enough) Le Le. It seemed to me that most of the staff were her family members, I know her sister and sister-in-law were working there. I was able to walk in and immediately be taken back for my nails. 34 dollars for a mani-pedi which seemed pretty good to me. Not all of the employees spoke English very well but they all tried to make conversation anyway which is really kind of them. The pedicure chairs are comfy and they use this delicious scrub on your legs. I've had bad experiences at some of these little Asian run nail salons before but not this one. My mother and I went to Le Le Nails a few weeks ago after being not too impressed with another local salon. We both had a wonderful experience getting manicures - our ladies were very nice and chatted with us and were always laughing/smiling. They really took their time with us and both of them did a fantastic job on our nails. I got a gel manicure which normally lasts me a little over a week before it starts to peel. It's been 2.5 weeks now and I haven't had any peeling issues yet! I'm going back this week since the experience was so wonderful. I will say, you should book an appointment in order to get quick service - we came on a Saturday morning and there were other ladies who were waiting for us to finish prior to getting taken care of. read more

I went in for a mani/pedi, my first ones ever, and was pretty happy with the experience. I had an appointment, and I went in and the staff appeared very friendly. They asked me who I wanted, and I told them that I'd never been there before, so whomever they picked. This was probably a mistake, since I got stuck with the one person who didn't seem to know very much English. Don't get me wrong, she was quite chatty. Just with the other staff member sitting next to her doing another pedicure, in a language I presume to be vietnamese. Not once did she smile or make a friendly remark to me. I was actually quite impressed at how great a job she did since she was looking at the staff member next to her for half the time and my feet the other half -- which is probably why she didn't notice me wincing while she was fixing my cuticles or being a little too agressive grinding down my callouses. But the massage chair was AMAZING! And the bubbling feet soak was wonderful. I would go in again just for that. The quality of the polish was wonderful (I went with the regular polish instead of the gel), and she applied it very fast but thoroughly and without any mistakes. Also, the nailpolish remained chip free for almost 2 weeks. Again, for a first-timer, it would've been nice to get a friendlier staff member who wouldn't get frustrated when she had to tell me when to go wash my hands or how long to keep my hands under the UV light to dry. So I was left awkardly sitting there at the end while she had left to go work on someone else, not knowing if I should say bye or if i was just allowed to leave. I'm giving this two stars because my experience has been so inconsistent. One time I went to get a shellac/gel manicure, and it was perfect. The man who did it even painted along the edge of each nail, which I think really helped the manicure last and was the best attention to detail I've ever gotten in a manicure, anywhere. However, the last time I went, a few weeks ago, was for my teen daughter, and it was a total waste. I sat out and let her get a shellac manicure. This type of polish is supposed to last for two weeks, looking like new the entire time. Well, I paid $35.00, and it chipped off COMPLETELY in less than one week. If I hadn't thrown away the receipt, I would have gone back to complain. Keep your receipt, no matter where you go! Lesson learned, and we won't be back. All the workers were sweet and friendly with everyone who came in. There were lots of customers, and some seemed to be regulars, which is always a good sign. The only downfall I saw here was that during my manicure, I noticed I had a small pin-sized bubble in my polish, but my manicurist didn't stop to fix it or redo it. If I wasn't in such a rush to get to a retirement dinner, I would have asked her to redo that nail because it was such an obvious bubble. My experience was really good too. They took me right away even though I was a walk-in and they were busy. It's inexpensive, they were really friendly, and my toes look GREAT. I like a French pedicure with clear and white- they did the tips the perfect size and she put like four coats of clear over top. It looked perfect for a whole week, and after two weeks there is one tiny chip. I am really hard on my feet, and I think this is the longest a pedicure has ever lasted. read more

LeLe's is the only nail salon I use. The staff is friendly, funny, nice, and skilled. I have been frequenting the salon for the past 12+ years and the level of service has never changed. Friendly, affordable, sometimes there is no wait and sometimes I wait up to 30 minutes when I go as a walk in. Have only had simple pedicures, but they always do a nice job. This place is in a convenient location so I can do all my errands and pedicure without going to another shopping center.
