Stopped by Sunrise Nails while I was in the area and got the best manicure I've had in a long time. I was greeted upon opening the door and was directed to a nail tech right away. Vicky was so kind, precise, and patient. With a focus on cleanliness and being gentle, Vicky took her time but also made sure I was in and out in a timely manner (something I really appreciate when getting my nails done). While it is definitely an older and smaller nail salon, it was clean. The color choices were amazing. They have a brand of nail polish called "Kat", which is one I have never heard of before. They accept cards or cash and appreciate tips in cash. I look forward to going back and making this my regular nail salon! read more

"Walk in are unwelcome" at approximately 1:45pm on 07/07/2023 I walked in to the salon. I explained it was my first time and that I would like a full set.. Been here twice. The ladies are super nice. The first time I went she did my nails and it was relaxing. The second time felt super rushed. They say they do ombré but every time I have asked they just say "no can do". Maybe I haven't gone when the ombré girl works, idk but I feel for nail technicians they all should know how to do ombré. Also when I asked about a design they do stickers. Which isn't what I want so I declined. All in all, not bad but not on the side of great either. I have to say I hadn't had a pedicure or manicure in at least a year. Thee gentleman was quiet and not talkative which is okay by me. He also was not always talking to his wife in a his native tongue. He did an excellent job on my toes and fingernails. They really needed it He wasn't so rough, but not so gentle that you don't get the same effect. He did an excellent job on my toenails and feet and on my fingernails. Although I like more moisturizer on my hands they felt dry after which might have been what I picked out. The one thing I wish I would had known is they have an organic line which I would have tried had I known. I would recommend them. They are open on Sundays. read more

I received great service at Sunrise nails. It's a small place, so I imagine it could get busy, but I was seated immediately upon arriving on a rainy Sunday for a pedicure. And oh how I was glad to be seated - those massage chairs are AMAZING! The pedicure was done well, until the end when I got a nick in my big toe trying to slip into shoes -- how is it that at ANY nail salon your nails are always just a liiiiittle bit wet for way too long after? The first time I went they gave me a fantastic pedicure. So I went back to them when I needed another. This time, though, the news was on and a client and the one of the workers started openly trashing the current president. I kept hoping they would stop but the hate speech became so openly hostile that I had to leave. I don't care how you vote, it is not acceptable to impose hostile and insulting views about a sitting president upon other people. I went here because it was close to work and had decent reviews. BIG MISTAKE. Both nail techs were working with other clients when I arrived with a friend. We were told to sit down and my friend politely asked how long it would be since they were clearly both busy. We were met with attitude about how it would only be a few min and it was going to take a long time to soak off my gel polish anyway. I was prepared to let that awkward exchange go but then once she was finally working on my nails she cut a huge chunk out of my finger. She didn't just nick my cuticle, she took a whole clippers worth of flesh. It was bleeding and painful and all I got was a half hearted "sorry". I wanted to give this place a good review but I can't because he filed my pinky and broke skin. Prior to that he clipped my cuticle and I bled a bit. Yes I did say ouch. My pedicure was great but the gel manicure not so much. He filed down my nails really short where I felt uncomfortable. Bummed because I have a wedding this weekend and my finger nails look sloppy. My mom and I had gone in on a rainy, Saturday afternoon and the family was there. The husband and wife are a duo and each one gave us a pedicure. There was a huge difference between the two- the wife had rushed through mine in 15 minutes while my mom had a good 30-40 min long pedicure. She did not take her time and put little effort into it. This is the second time this has happened! (Thus why I'm writing this review) It would have made more sense if the place was busy, but no one was in there. I don't think we will be returning any longer which is sad because we had gone there for years. This is my go to nail salon. Ever since I tried them out, I have not gone anywhere else for gel. The owners are friendly but not too pushy or chatty so you can relax while getting your services. They also have televisions and if I am the only person, they usually let me pick what channel I want to watch. (Which is always bravo, obviously.) Had a very relaxing pedicure with gel polish and paraffin dip. Peter did my pedicure, he was very friendly took his time and made sure my nails were perfect! He takes pride in his work. The massage part felt great! They have tons of colors, brand name polish OPI, Essie, dip polish and organic products. Only thing I didn't like was they did not have the prices listed, they did have a pricing menu, but it was mainly the organic products and not all the services listed were listed, but they're pretty much on par with other places in the area price wise. read more

I really like this place but in the year I've been going they hired another male tech and he's just horrible. He is too rough on my nails and hands, he rushes through every procedure, and he will answer his phone if it rings in the middle of a session. The woman who owns the shop is too interested in playing on her iPad rather than performing sessions. The materials they use are sub-par and will lift and peel. Other reviews mentioned kids and I have to confirm this. She has 2 boys and one of them is mentally handicapped. It can be a bit trying if you are looking for a relaxing experience but if you go in the morning the kids aren't there. They don't like to take credit cards and won't let you put tips on credit cards anymore. It's a shame really because when I first started to go it was no where near as bad as it has gotten. Because of this I've found a new nail place that is 100% better. read more

I have been going to this place for years and loved it until they switched new owners. No one speaks fluent English, the nails are all different shapes and sizes, every time I have gone I get more disappointed. They cannot do any designs or anything special, there pricing is inconsistent, and they are rude when you try and make a suggestion. Highly suggest finding a different place in the area. read more

Leyna did a great job on my fill in gel nails and the sugar scrub was a nice touch- smelled nice but it was a little rough. The pedicure, however, was painful!!! She dug at my toes so badly that she made them bleed and then burned my toes with some sort of blue antiseptic. I still have red inflamed toes 2 days later! I asked for the smoothing spa pedi and it really wasn't worth the extra $- basically she rubbed a little lotion on the bottom of my feet at the end of the treatment but was no more than a basic pedi elsewhere. To top it off, I was overcharged. It was supposed to be $30 for fill Ins and $35 for smoothing spa pedi with callous removal but I was charged $85. I do not plan on going back. read more

I went in on a Monday afternoon and asked for a pedicure and gel french manicure. The male, who I am assuming is the owner, did a fantastic job on my pedicure. The salon was also very clean. However, I had the lady, who I'm assuming is the coowner, for my gel manicure. I was the only customer in the salon at this point. She took off my previous manicure and cut off my cuticles like normal. I asked her to keep my nails long and she cut off most of them...like 3mm. Then 4 women entered the salon and she rushed to paint my nails. She totally skipped lotioning my hands which was fine, however, after she rushed to paint my nails, it looks like a 6 year old child painted my nails. The white tips are not even, there are obvious lumps underneath the getl, and my nails look like complete shit. She basically slopped the gel on top of the white tips and I have it all over my fingers. It's on the sides of my fingers and between my nail and fingertips. When I asked her to please remove the gel that's sticking to me skin and nails, she tried to pick it off with cuticle cutters but could not get it off. It took her less than 10 minutes to paint my nails when it should take 20. She rushed through my service because they were understaffed for the amount of customers. I'm so upset and I can't believe I just spend 52 dollars on a manicure my 5 year old niece could've done a better job on. read more

I hate to be the person having to leave a negative review but I felt I had to after the experience I had at the salon. I was encouraged by the other rave reviews of the salon but I felt the quality of the manicure I received was subpar and patchy, I actually had to ask my nail tech to go back over to remove excess nail polish that was all over my hands and cuticles. I don't normally go to this salon so I was a first time customer and I don't think I will be returning. Overall the salon was clean and well maintained but I just felt the service was awful and I felt rushed through even when I came in on a Saturday morning with no one else in the salon. Just had the manicure Sunday and am already having to take the polish off not two days later. Anyway, I hope my review helps someone. read more
