I felt rejuvenated afterwards. The massage was not as good. I warned the therapist that I have arthritis and needed a gentle massage. I said it three times in the process of the treatment. Regardless, the therapist put her full weight on me and shook my leg and knee out, which was painful. It was too fast for me to say anything, but it was hard for me to move after the treatment. She did not check in with me during the treatment. She also didn't bring water to me, but left it in the next room. I stumbled walking to the room where she left the water. Lastly, the receptionist smirked at my question about the other business there, and gave me a cryptic answer. I didn't feel welcome following up.

The massage therapist, Janine, who is also the owner was very curt to me when letting me in. She just walked away and I followed her to a desk area where she handed me a form to fill out. Nothing friendly about her. Once she directed me to a room to undress, which took me only a minute, I was lying on the bed for almost 8 mins before she came in. I had paid for an hour long massage with reflexology but looking at the clock, by the time she was done, it had only been about 48 mins. The room is not the most comfortable as I've enjoyed more dimly lit places where you can enjoy the relaxing massage - this room was full of sunlight. No calming music played and the loud humming of the AC was distracting. While massaging my neck, I kept feeling Janine's jagged nails digging into my skin making it quite uncomfortable. I've had way better massages while this was barely mediocre to me. Not a great place or massage therapist from what I experienced and I don't ever plan on coming here again.

Then she took a break and my journey to find a new LMT was very difficult. If you've had a few bad massages, you know the pain isn't just physical. It can also affect you mentally/physically. I felt like I could get no relief and had to start acupuncture and PT (both are great) but always felt something missing (and my achy neck/shoulders/back is a constant reminder).
