I love this salon. The ladies here are very friendly, a family type atmosphere. I get my nails, toes and eye brow waxing done here and they do an excellent job. I don't not post reviews very often but this place deserves it! I get pedicures and manicures occasionally but I like to get acrylics. And Alicia is my favorite! She does an amazing job and the prices are very good in comparisons to other places. Also, I just went there on Good Friday and my service was still good. I barely had to wait(keep in mind this was for acrylics with no appointment) and everyone was still in good spirits even tho it was kinda crazy in there. Went for a pedicure ($20), and I guess it depends on who you get. If you get the older lady, the owner, you are in for a treat. One of the younger ladies, you take your chances, but in any case you'll get a decent pedicure. Either way, it's a good place, if you can listen to people speaking Vietnamese without stressing that they're making fun of your corns or whatever, and you can't beat the price. No checks, no tips on the credit card, so bring cash. read more

Decided to treat myself to a gel (polish) manicure, it's $30, walked in on a Friday night and it was busy the pedicure chairs were full. Here's the thing that struck me, no overpowering solvent smell and haze of acrylic dust when you come in the door of about 98% of most nail places. Also the young ladies were knowledgeable and friendly, plus none of this manicure and do you need eyebrows done, as an upsell. Here's the nice thing, which might not mean anything but to me it did, everyone of those ladies had a nail tech license. The tech I had really took her time doing what non existant nails I have, plus since I chose some flecked polish she took the time to get the flecks evenly. I've come here about 4 times in the last 6 months with each time to get my eyebrows wax. Ms. Cindy, the owner has been the one doing my eyebrows. But because of my last interaction with her, I have decided to give this place a bad review. I usually call before-hand to let Ms. Cindy know when I am coming to check if she is available and each time this past 3 weeks, she had stated, she's busy because of appointments. So then I tried to get an appointment with her and each time, she had asked me to come after closing which I didn't feel comfortable because it's too late. So the following week, I decided to go to the nail salon and showed up as I was willing to wait. I showed up and she had told me that she can't see me because she has a client. So then I said I'll wait but she said that someone else can take me. Then, she called an older women and she started to talk in another language. The other women approached me; she looked at me with disgust and said, "no, no, no!" So then I felt embarrassed because I didn't know why she would say that. In addition, she refused to take me. Because I don't like to argue with people, I walked out of the salon and decided to just contact Ms. Cindy to confront her as it appears that they are all discriminating against me. I contacted her over the phone and asked her if they have something against me. She said that is not the case. Therefore, I asked why did the lady refused to see me. She said that the other woman couldn't take me because she has a client. In turn, I asked her why would she asked the other woman to help me if she had someone already. She then responded with: "I gotta go" and hanged up on me. From this experience, I have given the owner opportunity for an explanation of the incident and has not addressed the reasons for them refusing service. As a result, I will not be returning because of how they treated me. Furthermore, I will have no choice but to contact BBB for refusing service and discrimination. I truly feel that she did not want to take me because my service was only eyebrows compared to other people who would have multiple services - I don't think that is right. The nail salon should take everyone despite how much services the customer needs. read more

They were moderately busy, and had lots of color choices. While Cathy was nice enough, she scrubbed skin off my toes and left my legs aching from her over-enthusiastic massage despite requests to tone it down, and even in pain. I'm still dealing with skin wounds. read more

I just walked out after sitting for an hour. When I first went in and asked if there was a wait, the lady said "not long." After an hour, (which I do consider long) when she took another lady ahead of me who came in after me, I was angry and decided to leave and never come back. Had she told me up front that it would be awhile, I could have gone elsewhere or come back later. In that case, they would not have lost a customer. Maybe they have so much work, they do not need to be courteous and keep people happy. I will never go there again. This probably would not have happened at Nail Pro at Timonium and York. read more

It really all depends on who does your nails here. I've had tips done twice here. The first time they were terrible. I had to reshape them when I got home. The second time, they were perfect. I've had 2 gel manicures here, and the first one was sloppy, but it stayed on for a good while, which pleases me. The second one needed to be redone in less than a week. Both times my nails were not filed well. I had to redo them myself. For $25 plus tip, I expect more. I've been happy with my pedicures, for the most part. Although, I got an ingrown nail once because they cut on an angle. I enjoy their massage chairs, at least. It's very noisy in there, but I kinda like it. The place is always busy, and sometimes it takes 30-60 minutes to be seen. So be prepared to wait. It's an average place. As I said, it really depends on who does your nails. read more

Me and my friend came after school one day to treat ourselves, she is an regular there but i for one am not girly and dont go out to get my nails done. I was all excited and everything, i got there before her and was confused. I was just going to wait but 4 different employees asked me if i needed help, when each time i said no. This was only my second time in my whole life going to a nail salon so i didnt know the vocabulary or what to do and they made me feel like an idiot. They kept saying, pick a color, come here, gel? And everytime i would think or ask what they meant they looked at me like i was stupid. So bad customer service, but nails do look nice after attempting to talk to them about what i want 50 times. After a week of hard labor, one of my nails started to lift. So i think thts a good thing? Lol i dont know. But idk if im coming back here again becuz of the horrible experience. read more
