I had a very poor experience at this nail salon today. I initially selected a gel color, but the shade applied did not match the number on the sample at all--it was clearly purple, whereas I had chosen a light pink. When I asked the technician to correct it, she tried to convince me to keep the incorrect color until I insisted otherwise. Even then, instead of removing the purple polish, she carelessly applied the new color over it. When I asked her to properly remove the incorrect polish, she began speaking about me to another technician in her native language, which made me uncomfortable. At checkout, I was charged for a higher-tier pedicure despite repeatedly stating that I only wanted the basic service. They refused to correct the charge, leaving me feeling pressured to pay just to leave the situation. There was also a customer waiting in a chair behind me who witnessed the situation and told me that she had witnessed other customers having issues with this specific nail tech on other occasions as well. Not to mention, the polish was smudged when she was finished and she did not offer for me to sit and dry my nails. Afterward, I called the salon to speak with a manager, but the receptionist refused to transfer me. Instead, he claimed I had signed a receipt--which I did not--and referenced security cameras in a way that felt threatening. He said I could return in person to have the charge corrected, but I explained I was not comfortable going back and asked for the issue to be resolved over the phone. He refused and ultimately hung up on me. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business. read more

Everyone was really nice but they over charge soooo bad. They add extra cost to their services unnecessarily. I was charged twice for shape, once $10 then an additional $5. I have a french set, just regular gel and was charged for "custom French" $25 on top of the full set w/ gel. $95 for a French set, no design, and coffin shape has to be insane. I've never paid that much. No manicure, just a gel full set. Absolutely insane, I will not return. I will go to my regular nail salon who has set prices and not made up prices, like this salon does. read more

I'll start off with Le's being very beautiful and clean inside. I called to ask how much soak off is. They ask is it gel, over lay, acrylic with tip, gel x? I say gel x. I'm told $15. Cool I'll be there in 10. I typically soak off my own nails but I didn't feel like it this day. The next person doing my nails doesn't work with other nail techs work ie some soaked off. Cool. Anyway I get there, I'm seated in one lady chair, she begins cutting off the gel x. Cool. Two nails into it, I'm told to sit in another chair for another person to do my soak. Okay. He was very overbearing. You want manicure? You want eyebrow? No... I want a soak off. You want dip? You want overlay? I. Want. A. Soak. Off. Would I return? Maybe only for a soak. I went in to get a dip manicure and by the next day it was crumbling to pieces. I went back to let the manager know that the manicure was ill-prepared and I wanted a refund, but they were not in. The tech who did my nails offered to redo it. I did not accept. I was given a card and asked to call back. I got my nails done elsewhere. Although this place is pretty inside, I would not recommend for a dip manicure based on my experience and no offer to have my money returned. read more

I went to Le's Nail Bar in Woodholm Shopping Center to pamper myself with a mani and pedi. The person who did my nails and toes felt like she was unprofessional. She was eating while doing my toes, but she did an excellent job on my toes. My major issue was my nails. I did not see this until I got outside, at which point I had no time to get the issues fixed. There were nail polish drops on my hands. On one nail, the polish was already coming off. I had been there before waxing and was fine. The people there, for the most part, were friendly. The place looked clean. I do not plan on going back anytime soon for my nails. I could have given lower stars, but I felt it was only this unprofessional person. read more

my nails were absolutely destroyed here. the man used a filing machine to remove gel polish and he burned them and literally put holes in my nailbeds, they are now paper thin. I cannot even open a can of soda- what is left of my nails my is like rice paper that folds and crumbles off. I've never had any issues with my nails before and this is awful and uncomfortable! I work with my hands a lot and now I need tools to help with some basic functioning bc my nails fold and crumble like rice paper. read more

I called prior to make an appointment, and I should have noticed the red flag over the phone, after the lady said "7 should be ok". I get there, I sign in, I sit down. The guy that works there took my temp, which is fine, but then comes back and tells me I need to sit in a different waiting chair bc the one I was sitting in was too close to the door. Okay, no problem so I get up and move over a few chairs. The lady doing my nails took 1.5 hours for a fill (I use gel acrylics with no designs, just a solid color). None of my nails are even, paint is already chipping, and I can see my real nail on some nails because she didn't paint them all the way. I was charged $45 for this awful service and fill. I've received some bad fills before, but this one has been the worst fill and service I have ever received. (FYI I still tipped I shouldn't have though). read more

The worst possible SNS job ever! The guy didn't even bother asking me what shape I want to begin with. He was rushing through everything and putting 3 layers on one side before moving to the other hand. You can't even see my cuticles because he just layered the powder over them. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. When I go to a salon I have never been to before, I like to just get a simple manicure to get a feel for the establishment. The filing and manicure itself went fine but the paint job was sloppy. I should have left when the technician asked me to pay first before he painted my nails after he already completed the manicure. For a $16 job this seemed insulting to me. But, that's not why I am giving this place one star. The paint job was done hastily and sloppily but unfortunately for me, I did not notice until after the timer went off on the hand dryer. My left pointer finger was already smeared and chipped, and I had not moved around at all during the painting nor drying process. The technician had not said anything when he moved me to the dryer, so I waited ten minutes hoping someone would come over to acknowledge my presence so I could voice my concerns on the already messed up paint job. Unfortunately for me, nobody said a word as time continued to go by and that's when I noticed that my technician had been working on a different client's pedicure as I sat there. It would have been considerate to let me know he was supposedly done when the timer goes off. Frustrated, I got up and left and he shouted, "thank you". You can tell that he wasn't as careful because I only got a regular mani. He even commented, "why not gel polish" before he painted my nails. I have actually been coming to this place sporadically for years and have not had the best experiences. One experience was so bad that I have not been there for about 2-3 years. I peeked in about a week ago because I noticed they had moved into a larger more updated space, and it looked really nice. There was a receptionist in the front and she was very nice and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised. She brought me wine and water, and helped me navigate what I wanted to get done. I had a good experience with my nail artist too. No complaints from me. If they keep this up, I'll keep going! read more

This place seemed very disorganized tonight. I had wanted dip powder but the nail tech acted like it was such problem for him to do it. He was rushing the whole time and then cut me. Came here with a relative. Their technician seemed to know what she was doing but mine was rough and sloppy. They cut my foot with the "cheese grater" they use to scrub callouses. Blood everywhere! I had opted for the hot stone massage and what they used is the shape of a hockey puck (flat sides, not rounded like most massage stones) and the stores were catching small hairs on my legs and ripping them out. OUCH! Finally the tech's hands were shaking so much, the polish was applied very badly and they had to go back over and clean off the stray marks with a brush and nail polish remover. Worst experience ever for a first time customer looking for a gel pedicure . I asked for a "cut down" into the "square shape" for a basic white gel manicure. I also mentioned, I want them to look like " white chicklet gum" just to keep it fun and light. Unfortunately this was a waste of $52. The only thing that kind of looked right was the big toe. Everything else was butchered. Especially my middle toe! I've worked in the service industry and usually those who pride themselves in their work try to make everything look even and pleasing to the eye. I also try to not micromanage and stared down workers. This was a basic request, how could anything go wrong? I let the nail tech do their thing and just popped up after the initial cutting to take a quick glance and check on the progress. She hacked my nails up into the weirdest shapes and chopped down my middle toe to almost nothing! I was super unhappy and should have walked out but I thought this was a local business I came to support so let me try to think positive and not complain the damage was done...or so I thought. She continued to attempt to cut and file down my middle toes regardless of how many times I requested her to stop and even tried to gently pull away because it slightly stung. Now I'm left with these uneven chopped down nails. I was hoping to leave feeling confident and excited for my weekend trip. But as you can see from the picture I feel disappointed. I should have just asked my 16yr old niece to do it. She don't know much about pedicures but I feel like I would have given a slightly better experience but for free lol. I came in on a whim. Waiting about 10-15 minutes. Kim took care of me, and she was great!! My nails are short because I bite them. There was no naill polish on my skin. I also have horrible cuticles but Kim never brought up all the cuticle cutting she had to do. Where most nail places try to up sale by asking if I want tips because of my short nails, or something else like a waxing. Kim did not. She was gentle and took good care of me. This salon is great! It is pretty popular, so there may be a 10-15 minute wait at times, but no matter what you're having done, they make it quick and to your satisfaction. I usually go for a manicure or fill-in, pedicure and eyebrow wax and can usually get it all done within an hour and 15 minutes and I am always happy with how everything looks. Very reasonably priced. The work that they do makes parking in the Festival at Woodholme lot worth it! read more

I'm not from the area but needed to get my eyebrows waxed. I went to the salon which was in a busy shopping area but managed to find parking immediately. I walked in and the atmosphere was clean, well-lit and high end. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door in a polite and friendly manner, I was helped immediately by a friendly and knowledgable technician who understood what I wanted. She was quick and even thinned out further when I asked within seconds. The entire process took no more than 5 minutes. I paid and was on my way. My only suggestion for the salon would be to add credit card tips. My technician DEFINITELY deserved one but since I didn't have any cash on me, I wasn't able to leave her one. read more

Disgusting place it's so dirty, and they don't know how to do nails, they left my fingers dry and cut up until they bled I had to stop her in the middle of a manicure and they had the nerve to try and charge me a full price for a manicure I never received. Do not even stop to let them touch your nails. I had S and S from another shop and it lasted weeks. I wanted it taken off and a simple manicure, but the tech convinced me it wouldn't take long. I agreed and watched this man rush through the process. He filed my nails down with the power machine and weakened my nails. The product he was using was way too thick and he did 3 layers even though normal they do two. Lastly he put gel over the S and S which is completely wrong. Within 5 days almost every nail was chipped or broken. I will never use them again and hope to get half my money back. Don't waste your time. read more

First visit and sure if I would not come back. First let me mention the nail shop is really clean and neat. The nail tech I had could barely speak English and when asked him his named he laughed and told me to "sshhh" ! I love my regular nail pamper time. The finished product is very thick and bulky, lacking the natural look and feel. The day I went I decided to try this location because I couldn't make it to my own regular location in Gambrills (Bella Lifestyle and Spa). Well this is what happens. So inconsistent- I was there today and paid for a $35 special pedicure. The guy who did it barely spoke to me. He did not scrape or scrub my feet. I did not realize he was not going to use the sea salt scrub until it was too late- he had started on the polish. Barely in the chair 20 minutes. There are some there who do well, but the ones I know of were all busy tonight. Guess the pint is either make an appointment with somebody who is good or go elsewhere. Beware! read more

Don't go to Sophie the lady that sits in the front chair on the right hand side. After getting outside I realized how amateurish the work was. The pedicure was below average. There were streaks in the polish and not neat around the cuticles. Manicure was below average, all my nails were shaped differently with jagged edges. Will not return, at least not to her. read more
