I went here this past weekend since my usual nail place (AJ nails) was closed for a family event. Thought my mom and I would give it a shot since reviews were "great". We didn't have a good experience here. The guy doing my nails was rough when taking my feet out of the water and slamming them down and didn't seem to cut cuticles well. Older lady doing my moms nails seemed like she was rushing and didn't even know how to clip my moms ingrown nail. She had to have someone else clip it and then went back. The owners daughter was up and down,tablet was loud, and crunching her chips loud. I usually don't complain, I'm a mom myself. I usually have an issue with my acrylics lifting, either from the natural nail to the nail tip and or them lifting from the sides...after having my nails done here I have NOT had that issue. I wish I could give them 0 star. 3 weeks ago my mom and myself went to this place for the first time. My mom got full set snd i got pedicure and full set. I noticed my toe nail changing color and then saw another nail coming out fungus. Today i called nick told me to go in and he will take care of it and fix it. I get there and theres few people and of course nick told me right away to pick a color and go seat down for pedicure. Make story short nick did not take care of the problem my nail fungus and i had to paid. HE did not give me solution to take care of and rush me out the place.My nail is nasty looking and hurts. Let me start by saying I hate getting my nails done because I never like how they come out however for the first time ever I LOVE MY NAILS!! I looked up some of their work on instagram as well as their pictures on yelp and figured I would give them a try and they were great! Nick did my nails (coffin shape) and he was so gently and did everything like I asked. His brother was working on another set of nails and the ladies nails also looked great! Bella was at the front desk and she was so pleasant. They had really nice pedicure chairs and everything was really clean. Honestly I think I found my nail place in indio. Typically go to this place to get a pedicure because I like the fact that they cover the area where your feet go and they toss away the plastic when they are done.I have in the past got gel manicures and not even two days after they start chipping but I always blamed that my nails were weak and fragile. I love the pedicures though. Today I decided to get acrylics before my vacation and I decided to go to US nails. I was more than happy that they were able to take me 30 minutes before they closed. I wanted short nails very natural but as soon as the guy started putting them on my fingers he wanted them long but that's not what I wanted. The girl in charge kept coming over trying to make sure I was pleased and she understood. I finally got my nails to the size I wanted them and then he started filing. What a mess I am never had this experience in the past. He kept filing on the side, making them look crooked, at least to me they did. I told the girl that was in charge and she understood she tried to make me feel like she knew what I was talking about and tried fixing them this happen more than once and twice. I am not usually one to complain. But I was so disappointed I almost started crying. And the guy seem to be getting very frustrated and annoyed. I felt so uncomfortable and so unhappy. To top it of the color I chose seemed completely different than what I had chosen, I didn't want to complain but I asked to compare the colors, the guy kept getting more annoyed, turns out the color was labeled wrong. Finally I was able to choose a different color and the gel color was so sloppy. I am so disappointed. I don't know if I would ever go back for manicures and acrylics there. read more

This place started out great but really went downhill. My friends and I usually come here for pedicures because I like that they use a plastic liner in the tub. This time that I went was such a different experience. It wasn't busy at all so I thought I would be in and out fast. Wrong. The lady started working on my pedicure but then said she would be back in 5 min. I started the massage on the chair again so I know she was gone for at least 30 min. The water in the tub grew cold too so I was just sitting there waiting. Then she hurried up and finished quickly. Ok, maybe she was having a bad day. So I went to get my nails done and got a regular polish. Usually that lasts me about a week because I have a office job so I'm not using my hands too much. After only 2 days my polish is chipping so I'm going to have to go get it done elsewhere. One of my friends also went here and got a gel polish which should last her 2 weeks. Her polish chipped and came off in 3 days. Plus, both of our hands have the skin around our cuticles peeling and rough. It's really disgusting. So it looks like we both are never going back here and now I have to find another place. So disappointing when something that starts out so great ends up failing. read more

I visited this salon for the 1st time 3.10.16....i had received a coupon in the mail and thought "why not" It was clean, or so it seemed, i had a good experience On march 26th i removed my toe nail polish and found fungus on both of my big toes. I called yesterday to make them aware, i asked for a manager, the lady said there wasn't a manager there, so I told her....all of a sudden a manager was there....he asked me to come in at 7pm to show him. ...i asked if i could come mon or tues he said he wouldnt be there next week. I went it nick sat me down and looked at my toes and said that's not fungus, they cover their tubs....i said 100%this is fungus so its the polish or instruments they use He was rude and degrading and could care less....1st he said he remembered me and they had a hard time getting my shoes on, i looked at him and said that's untrue because i only ever wear flip flops The lady he had at his table doing her nails an obvious regular came over and said she teaches a spin class and that's a bruise, i said i work in an office and would know if i unjured my toe to that extent and there's fungus on BOTH BIG toes....nick was going to put fugus oitment on but walked away and went back to the lady and her nails....he said I'll offer you $15 in a refund if you go no further with this, well i did take my money back, it should have been the full refund I insisted he put the ointment on, i should have been given the bottle....i am and will be calling the health dept and reporting this nail salon....he treated me with NO RESPECT OR DIGNITY and my toes clearly have fungus and he lied over and over to cover his ass He Even asked his regular customer to be his witness I have been getting pedis for years and years and never have had this happen to me read more
