In all honesty I wasn't to sure how it would go because it was a pain for me...but that's why there are amateurs and professionals. Communication was too notch and they showed up right on time as scheduled, they knocked the job out in 90 min to my satisfaction. Did I pay a nice chunk of change for labor Yes!, but for me it was worth it as I had failed time and time again. You don't pay at times for the time that was worked but for the experience they have. I would 100% book Devon again.

I'm documenting my experience with Devon Mobile Mechanic and attaching screenshots of confirmations…read moreand messages for accuracy. Summary: Confirmed appointments were missed twice with no communication, and I was unable to reach a real person despite multiple attempts. Prior service also showed inconsistencies. Detailed timeline: * I scheduled an appointment for my 2017 Polaris Slingshot. * I received a text confirmation for an 11:45 AM appointment and confirmed it the night before per instructions. * I arrived before the scheduled time and waited. * No one showed up at 11:45 AM. * I called multiple times but was only able to leave messages through an automated (AI) system. * About 30 minutes later, I received a message that my appointment was rescheduled to 12:45 PM, with instructions to confirm by pressing "1." I accepted and received confirmation. * No one showed up at 12:45 PM either. * I continued calling and leaving messages over the next couple of hours with no response. * I ultimately left around 3:00 PM after waiting several hours. * The first time I was contacted by a real person was moments after posting a review, and the call was argumentative rather than focused on resolving the issue. Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. Based on what happened, the only time I received a response was after posting a negative review, which shouldn't be necessary to get basic communication.

When I arrived, I waited about 15 mins to talk to someone at the counter. I confirmed the type of tires I wanted, and then they asked if I "wanted" a tire alignment when they change my tires. I answered yes, because that is needed when getting tires replaced. They said it would be an extra $130 for that, which brought my less than $500 quote to over $600. After complaining, they said they "found" a discount for $100, so my new total would be around $560. I was irritated, but just accepted my fate and paid. I left, then came back 4 hours late to pick up my car, which they said was still not finished. They offered to have me pick it up the next morning, but I needed my car to get to work, so they said I could bring it back the next day to get the alignment. I brought it back the next day, and was called around 2 hours later to come pick it up. When I arrived, I waited at the front counter for around 15 minutes with no one coming up to help me. I went into the garage and said I just needed to pick up my keys and leave, and finally someone came to help me. When giving me my keys, they told me my car was fine to begin with and practically didn't even need the alignment. That pissed me off because I paid an extra $130 to have the alignment and inconvenienced myself and my sister to drop off and pick up my car again. When I got my car back, I noticed the "new" tires they gave me were extremely dirty and dusty, which they didn't bother to clean off. Overall, the inaccurate quote, waste of time, and waste of money was very frustrating, and I would not recommend this location if you're looking to have speedy service done to your car.

I was charged over $400 or $500 to correct the issue just for me to leave and immediately continue hearing the rattling before I left the lot. I was so mad that I didn't even turn back around nor called about it. I just decided I wasn't returning and took the loss, and that's on me. I don't know what the resolution would have been if I took action. However, what I do know is that I went elsewhere to have the issue fixed. It took the tech under a minute to detect the issue by riding with me around the corner of their building. The service cost under $300. Easy fix because the tech did his job and didn't assume what the problem could be

My sister got a flat tire on the highway, and after waiting almost 2 hours for roadside assistance…read morethrough our insurance company, we gave up and started looking elsewhere. We found Ancash Roadside Assistance on Yelp and called because they had such great reviews. He answered immediately, sent me a location-sharing request, and arrived in about 20 minutes. After spending nearly two hours stranded on the side of the road, that level of responsiveness was a huge relief. Once he arrived, he got right to work and had the tire changed in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, and we were safely back on the road much faster than expected. My only suggestion for improvement would be to introduce yourself before getting started. It was dark, and we were two women stranded on the side of the highway. When he arrived, he pulled up behind us and immediately started changing the tire without introducing himself. I genuinely appreciated the urgency and willingness to jump right in and get the job done, but in that situation, a quick introduction would have gone a long way in helping us feel more comfortable and know that the person approaching our vehicle was the roadside assistance we had called. Overall, though, the service was excellent. He showed up when we needed help, worked quickly, and got us moving again in no time. If you're stranded with a flat tire and need someone reliable, I would definitely recommend Ancash Roadside Assistance.

I left 15 minutes later completely happy and satisfied…read more I had a slow leaking a tire that I had taken to another mechanic who told me he coacted the inside of my tire with sealant and he also changed out the tire valve. They charged me $50. I looked up J's on YELP, and chose it because of the reviews and because it was close to my house. Houndy and the other mechanic had my tire off and were evaluating it within two minutes, They did a soap/ water? test and told me that I had a puncture that had not been touched at all by my previous mechanic. They told me to just wait in my car. They were back in minutes with a newly plug the tire. Hound he told me that my previous mechanic had lied to me, that the inside of my tire had not been touched with sealant. But if he had, Hunty would've gladly scraped the sealant off to put in the plug at no extra charge. The whole thing took like 10 to 15 minutes? And I got to amuse myself by meeting these really beautiful dogs that belongEd another customer. It cost $25. Efficient. Polite. Professional. Trustworthy. Fairly priced. This is not a neighborhood that I normally even drive through, but I strongly recommend the trip to J,s for tire issues. This place is heads and heels over any corporate tire competition.

Overall good service…read more The folks at NTB were responsive on the phone, very helpful, and answered all of my questions and made it easy to set up an appointment. They do offer drop-off for the night before. It worked out okay, but it felt a little unsecure. There is a slot for dropping in the key, through the garage bay door. My concern is that if you drop the key, it lands on a slat in the door, which any random person could reach by putting their hand through the drop hole. So I ended up throwing my key through the hole, which felt a little janky. Checkout was fast and easy. The lady behind the counter aimed to please, and cut a deal for me just mentioning that I saw a coupon online (no need to print out or show on my phone). They're close to my place and so far the tires have been doing well. Would come back.

My tire was repaired and I was charged $30, which was not bad. I got home and checked to see if I had a warranty on my tires . I did and it stated that all repairs would be free for the life of the tire. I called the store again, spoke to Mac, explained the situation, and he said to bring the paperwork back with me so he could sort it out. I arrived, handed him my paperwork, and he refunded me my $30 in a matter of minutes. All in all, a quick resolution to my dilemma (tip: review all paperwork for any type of warranty information and have it in hand when seeking service). Mac was pleasant, professional and I will suggest anyone who needs tires or repairs to tire bought there or elsewhere, to give them a try.
