I didn't even get service at this location. Long story short, my car broke down across the street and was able to get it in their parking lot, the service manager allowed me to park in their lot and wait inside in the AC while I waited for a tow to my normal location. They charged us $65 just to tell us what was wrong, even though we have an OBD-II reader, and then told us the problem was the gas cap and charged us $100 to fix it. We rent our car out, so we trusted their assessment. Our customer brought the car back a week early because the check engine light came on AGAIN and she was worried. So not only did we lose money because TNT was untruthful, but then they told us that, since they gave the car the OK, in the six days since they saw it, another, separate problem emerged that was going to cost us almost $500. No offer or acknowledgement of wrongdoing, no offer of discount because they made us lose money or time or anything else. Brake change. I came to this car shop because of the reviews. And now I see that I should get a feel for the people running it before deciding to pay for services that are expected to be completed in a proper way. - I had my front brakes changed in mid Dec 2020. On the 2nd week of driving after getting them replaced, my brake light came on. I found it odd since I had just had them replaced. I give a place one try and if they let me down I try a different spot; so I did, I went to AutoStream Car Care Center, they checked out my car test drove it and sent me a detailed report thru a link on my phone. Their findings showed that the prior "Mechanic" failed to place the sensor for the brakes back on properly, causing it to run against the tire and short out. That mistake cost me an extra $100 to fix and more importantly had me on edge thinking that something was wrong with my brakes. I thought of returning to get the matter addressed to TNT, however, the trust was no longer there and I did not wish for them to work on my car again. It sucks to have to write bad reviews, but I do go by them, specially now when all we have is this kind of communication. I love my car and it is of great importance to me. The money is not what matters, it's the equivalent service I expect for it. read more

This place seem very nice. I used the Yelp deal (pay $50 for $75 voucher) However none of the people in the office knew about the deal. I wanted to show them the deal via yelp. But they don't have WiFi. Luckily, they were able to take the voucher, fixed my car and I felt relieved. Their rates seem reasonable and besides the yelp deal they were polite. For planning to have the Jiffy Lube next door take care of my car, TNT was a convenient option when that plan failed. Service: went to get my tires and brakes looked at after work one day. Did not have to wait to be helped and was able to have everything fixed same day despite them almost reaching closing time. Cleanliness: not very clean. Small waiting area with old, crusted magazines and flies evident in the room. Bathroom was a small, plain toilet and sink with a foggy mirror and lack of toilet paper. Overall this place is a good back up option to have your car looked at but I would prefer to go elsewhere. Not sure if I will return unless I have to. read more

These guys are the best! I found them on here when I had a flat one day. I tried to drive my car there on a flat but couldn't. I called them back to try to get a tow. They referred me to a great place. By the time I got to their place I was frustrated and in tears. Chaz was so friendly and kind to me even though he gave me terrible news. He did work with me to get my car fixed though. I joke with him that he is tired of seeing me but every time I go there they are always so kind and nice to me. Excellent quick service, and honest too. The last of these is especially important. If you feel you've been taken for a ride by other repair places, please take the time to read this story. About a year ago, an Ellicott City service station which shall remain nameless quoted me $1600 on a repair. This seemed outlandish. My car was driving fine. The temperature light was just intermittently coming on. So I took it to TNT for a second opinion. I didn't tell them about the original $1600 quote just to see what would happen. What happened is they repaired it for $160 (not a typo). A year later the car is still working great. It's a 15-year-old car and ran fine through the rough winter we had earlier this year. It turned out all I needed was a very easy repair. I can't remember exactly what they fixed, but a simple part had broken and they put a new one in. When I asked them "Are you sure nothing else is wrong with this car?" they emphatically stated "no." I never did tell them about the original quote, so it wasn't like they had a reason to try and look good by comparison. But in conclusion, the repair was clearly not the $1600 I was originally quoted. Not even close. I appreciated that there are honest businesspeople around. Chad, George, and the gang are the real deal and saved me a LOT of money. I'll be bringing by car here regularly and I suggest you do too. read more

Ok. I have taken about a month to get all the frustration and anger out of my systems. Took my vehicle there for a simple diagnosis and repair. Turned out battery needed replacement. Well a few days later same problem. I go back and explained they had wrong diagnosis. Problem was alternator. The manager was incredibly rude and hang up on me.This is after being charged $270 to replace battery and wrong diagnosis. Take your car to this location at your own risk. Terrible! Complete idiots. I took my mustang there a few years ago to get a supercharger put on and they said they could do it. Completely screwed it up and I had to pay them to drive a barely running car away from their shop. They charged me for numerous sets of spark plugs saying they kept fouling! Took it to JPC and within five minutes he had it purring like a kitten. They were too cheap to use a full piece of wire and spliced several pieces together to run to the fuel pump! The auxiliary fuel pump wasn't getting enough current to work. Complete idiots! read more

My Honda accord 2003 engine didn't start so I assumed starter motor was out. I chose this place because it had 1/2 towing fee if I got the service here. Cost turned out to be around $700, including the towing cost. I wish I knew there was a $50 diagnosis fee before I chose this place (my usual repair shop doesn't charge for that). Also, they took 3 hours just to tow my car, which caused me to wait for a whole day. I feel like I should've called other shops & compared the cost for I didn't know it would cost that much. TNT Auto Repair & Towing Saved our New Years!!! We were headed back to our home in Florida the day after Christmas(Saturday) from New Jersey. Around 6 pm there was a big bang from the bottom of our truck and a big cloud of smoke as we were driving 65 and a big clanking noise then the truck just coasted with no power to the shoulder. After being towed to a Hotel and Stranded for 2 days Monday we called TNT to have the truck towed and diagnosed. George was there with in the hour to pick up the truck and then called us with in the next hour to let us know that the dirve shaft and transfer case were gone. We were deciding on weather to just have the truck shipped back to Florida and renting a car to get us and our 171 lbs fur baby home or have it fixed while George was trying to track down the parks. George called us back and told us he found the parts, he could have us back on the the road by New Years Eve! and then he gave us even better news the price!!! It was cheaper to stay in the hotel and get the truck fixed and Thats what we went with! Now for the Magic!!!! George and his team Not only gave a great deal but had us back on the road a day earlier than they said. We had a repaired truck back in less than less then 48 hours!!! The truck ran like new all the way back to Florida and is still running strong!!! Thank You George and everyone else at the Shop!!!!! We made it home to Florida in time to celebrate the New Year with our family and friends thanks to your fast work and getting us back on the road in 2 days. read more

I was referred to TNT by a random guy at an auto retail store, and wow! I'm so glad I went to them. Rather than gauging me for my 60,000 mile check up (a good $500 or so at the dealers), I walked out with a $124 bill and a timeframe of when I needed to come back for some minor maintenance. I love how well they treat their customers. I have two experiences with them in particular that make me a loyal customer, but they have been great every time I've gone in. The first instance they impressed me was when my car was in for repairs and someone ran into my parked car. The driver tried to drive away but the tnt employees ran out and stopped him. They wouldn't let the person responsible for the new dent in my bumper go until they had his insurance information to give to me. The second time is the latest, when my car's check engine light was on. They checked it for free and when they found the problem they gave me their cost estimate to fix it. It was lower than expected, so I agreed. After a few hours I called to check up and they said the problem wasn't what they had thought, I must have something else triggering the sensor. They couldn't fix it there, and told me taking it to a Honda dealer would be best. I asked how much I owed them and they said I didn't owe anything because they hadn't been able to fix it. Even though they'd already done all the work that they thought would fix it! They are my first choice for any car repairs and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I took my car to this service (TNT) to have it fixed. In a nutshell, I was told it needed new brakes(partial). That was in April 2016. During the time it was being done, I received a call saying my car was ready as the tires had been done. I replied that brakes were supposed to have been done also. Then I was told that they had my car confused with another like car in the shop. Finally I was called and I went to pick it up. Later, In August, I was in Frederick where again my car began making a sound that was much worse, to the point where I was afraid to drive it home. However, I drove back, staying in the right lane. When I used my brakes, it was scary as they supplied little hold. I didn't want to take my car back to TNT as I was afraid to. Instead, I took it to a shop in Frederick that a friend advised were good. So now it's fine. I went back to TNT asking for my money back for their previous "work". I got a refusal where the owner told me the only way I could have gotten anything back would have been if I had brought it back it to them when I saw another problem. I replied that I was afraid as they hadn't sufficiently fixed it before. We're now at an impasse where I feel I do deserve my money back. I even gave him the info on the other shop. He stated that they could lie to him so why should he call? I resent his treatment of both the shoddy work done on my car and also the personal treatment and respect given me. read more
