AZ towing was assigned to tow my vehicle by AAA. They accepted the towing assignment at 5:30. They said they'd be there by 8:30. At 8:45, they dropped the assignment. I waited 7 hours for this worthless company to tow my car, and they never showed up. Why? Because they are lazy. They did not want to drive the distance necessary. They didn't even have the professionalism or courtesy to decline the job. Do not hire this company. They are lazy, unprofessional, and rude. read more

Not sure how companies like this stay in business. Told me they were 15 minutes away... every 5 min for over an hour. Came up with so many excuses. Then they hung up on me when I asked if I could get in touch with the driver. Stay away. AAA has a contract with them and AAA should cancel it ASAP. Such a disservice to paying AAA members to have such an unreliable company. read more

I'm not sure about the towing service, but one of their drivers verbally harassed me and my pregnant wife at a light, after tailgating and honking for an extended amount of time... all because we didn't go through a round about fast enough when there were people in front of us. He actually pulled up next to us and rolled down his window, called us dumb multiple times, as well as gave us the finger repeatedly. Not sure I would want this guy representing my company. He was driving erratically as well, talk about road rage. Take a breath buddy, there are more important things in life than verbally abusing someone when we all made it to the light at the exact same time. read more

Do not use this company. They responded to my flat tire call for help. The tech role off the bolt while attempting to remove my flat tire. He told me they would be back before the end of the day with a replacement. They never showed. I placed a complaint with AAA as they were operating as a AAA contractor and they denied responsibility! They are liars. Pictures show my Flat tire with 5 bolts and the donut with 4 bolts. Find another company this company is no good. read more

What a rip off. It is evident to me that what they wanted to do was lever me into buying a replacement battery on the spot, and so they made us wait 2 hours for their upsell scam. What I ordered from AAA RoadAssist was a jumpstart. The original 40 min wait resulted in them asking what kind of battery I had in my LandCruiser, and adding another 40 min wait (the first 40 min wait seemed not to count). After I clarified over th phone multiple times that this was only for a jump start and never had been a battery purchase: AAA still kept giving the status explanation that the contractor was "looking to locate a van with my kind of battery". Another 30 min delay was added to the time (just as the 2nd 40 min wait was about to expire), just because it was needed. Finally, a phone call added a final 20 min delay, to make a princely 2 hour wait for a simple jumpstart. AZ Batteries were lethargic, unreliable and unhelpful. Meanwhile, we sat in the disabled parking of our UPS store, hoping to get some value for the 30years of AAA Plus membership fees. Recently my car broke down (drive shaft broke). I'm so thankful these 2 gentlemen came. I wish I had gotten their names. My car was not even moveable and was going to be a complicated tow. Horrible service. Had scheduled my own towing company through my insurance as to make sure it was completely covered. Car repair place called these guys to pick it up also. Driver called me and I told him I had my own tow truck coming through my insurance company. Driver assured me that he was closer and the auto company that called him worked with all insurances to make sure it was completely covered. Ended up believing him. Ended up getting slapped with a 93 dollar bill that my insurance company would only cover $50 (like I had said previously). On top of that, $13 of that charged appeared out of nowhere with no explanation on the receipt. Have tried to contact them about the billing and false claims and haven't been able to get a response. I called to make sure that they were able to tow my car to the shop I normally take it to. The gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and willing to help. When I called for the official tow, they were able to be there in 20 minutes! Honestly, 20 minutes! The truck driver was great as well, he was able to get my car out of a parking spot in a lot (the engine wouldn't start). I couldn't be happier. I can't say enough good things about AZ. I was in a tough spot with a large and heavy SUV, broken down, on a Sunday night, and 100 miles from home. I called another company first, who could not do the job, and they suggested I call AZ. I'm so glad I did. The gentleman on the phone was polite and helpful, and he got a tow truck out to me quickly. The driver was a great guy, friendly, top notch. And the price was extremely fair, lower than I expected. They helped make a very difficult night a little easier. I can't speak to other's experiences, but I personally would not hesitate to call them again if I needed their service, and I would absolutely recommend them to my own family and friends.
