Fast and friendly. Received service under 20 minutes for a great price. Would use again.

This company is the worst I ever had to deal with. They quoted me a time that went over by 2hrs, and when I called to follow up on a ETA the Tow Truck Driver asked me "what do I want" I told him I was needing a ETA. He said he will get to me when he can and don't be rushing him. I told him I had my kid with me and he said "SO I DONT CARE!!!" I couldn't believe my ears. He then hung up on me and when he finally arrived he was so unprofessional stating he is 64yrs old and that he only moves on his time. Moving fwd as he was driving with my car on back he was speeding, driving recklessly, weaving in and out of cars and lanes. I have never experience anything like this before. USAA is my insurance provider and as I am reading reviews, they are fully aware of this but still choose to do business with them. I called this to speak with the manager or owner Adam Robinson, and we also sent a email complaint and we have not heard anything back. This whole company needs to be shut completely down the worst ever. read more

I can't recall the last time I had to write a bad review, but if I could give zero stars, I would. I was provided a window and the driver showed up two hours past the window. I waited and missed a day of meetings and my plane. After an hour, I contacted the driver and provided my location multiple times, even a map of where I was located. Despite being in close proximity, he appeared completely confused. Rather than apologize, the dispatcher called me a chewed me out. It was shocking. read more

Pathetic! insurance sent request at 3:40ish PM. it went from 40 min wait, to 73 min, then 2.5 hrs layer they told us to be ready in 30 min... then called again to say driv is behind and would be there in another 20 min. It's 7:20pm now and they just CANCELLED!!! 4 hrs later and it's 32 degrees out! Horrible business read more

Our car broke down on the highway and the insane call attendant strung us along for over two hours claiming they were on the way only to cancel when we called to ask why they weren't there yet. The most rude, unprofessional lady I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. She hung up on me leaving me with no way to know that she even cancelled the tow. Meaning I had to find out from my insurance company that they cancelled it. Horrible, horrible business. read more

Their driver tailgated me a few feet frommy bumper in a huge towtruck for miles in rush hour while I was keeping up with traffic. When I called the company to report the woman answering was quite nasty read more

The call attendant is very rude. Service was cancelled without reason. Called to inquire about updates and kept extending the window. Over 2 hours of wait. read more

My car's serpentine belt went and I ended up in a shopping center in Columbia. I live in Laurel. Called several places before finding K&R. Now, this may not be the case in very situation, but K&R arrived within 15 minutes of my call. Ed was the driver that towed me. He was friendly and professional. Again, response time is on the availability of the drivers but was towed and home in 20-25 minutes. Ed worked with me to get my car placed in the parking spot I wanted. Highly recommend. Thanks again Ed and K&R. read more

The driver "forgot" to leave my key with the shop where he towed my car. He said he couldn't go back to drop it off bc he had another call to go to and then left the key with my son who doesn't drive. So I had to find someone to drive me to the shop and give them the key so they could service my car. Very unprofessional and rude of K&R towing read more

I waited for over 3 hours for these folks to come. Called to ask about the pick up and the lady hung up on me mid sentence. Extremely rude.

My car got stuck on a hill, and was not able to move because it was all icy behind it. I'm very grateful to Mr. Harvey Lewis who arrived quickly, figured out my situation, and in less than 20 mins I was happily driving away. He was very professional, respectful, and helpful. I am very satisfied. read more

this tow company is the worse in the world bad customer service left a disabled adult in the rain and cold for 2 hours then cancelled they need not to be in business. then when you call them they're very rude business needs to shut down read more

Worst towing company and so rude they over charge and come into neighborhoods just to tow I guess they need to meet their quota. Mad we comments that we should move into a bigger house if we don't want to get towed. Very unprofessional read more

Way overdue review. The dispatcher hung up on me when I was trying to get my vehicle towed to the dealer. I'm not sure about this towing company but the dispatcher doesn't represent them well. read more

My car completely stopped and wouldn't drive, so I called my insurance company for roadside assistance, they hooked me up with this company and I have zero complaints, the driver had a bit of trouble locating me (no fault of his own) progressive dispatched him to a location just a past where I was, which was no issue, I gave their company a call and their dispatcher put me through to their driver who was nothing, but kind every step of the way, He got me all set up and we drove to my drop off location, where he handled everything with care, even helped me gather a few items from my vehicle before I left it at the location. All and all outstanding service !! I greatly appreciated Mr. Lewis and all of his help. read more

Terrible service customer service. Had them hang up on me several times and eventually they completely cancelled my requested tow right after confirming that the tow truck was on site. read more

This company dropped my car off in a random parking lot, not the tire replacement company I had requested. Tow truck driver cursed at me and was rude. When I called for a manager they defended his actions and yelled at me. Please don't use this company. read more

Literally the worst company and people I have ever dealt with. Avoid this tow company at all costs. I waited hours for a tow vehicle that never showed, only then to find out they decided to "cancel" my request without telling contacting me. read more

I sincerely wish I could give negative stars to this company. My truck was towed there and sat in their lot for a week. Then my truck was towed and dropped at a collision center to begin repairs. The collision center called me that day asking where the keys were. I said that I left them in the cup holder. No keys were in my truck. We quickly realized that there were many other things missing that mysteriously disappeared before my truck was dropped at the collision center, including my EZ pass. And whomever took it, was dumb enough to use it while my truck is in the shop! I called K&R multiple times and got the runaround every time I called. "not much else we can do" was their typical response. Worst towing experience ever. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

Wonderful Service, OUTSTANDING service-man, Harvey. They arrived expeditiously after I waited all day Tuesday......My Insurance connected me to one that never came & I requested a replacement. K&R gives great service & all businesses should work this way. I was a wreck and fearful having a broken car. All was taken care of without any issue. Harvey even sent me a text pic of my car all settled at the Service Center. read more

If I could give it a zero star I would !! this place doesn't flow directions when it's comes to insurance companies . they do whatever they feel like with your car . She was rude as hell and all she cared about was money . never go . the lady that is white with glasses is rude as hell . She authorized my car to leave the lot when my insurance company said not too because my tags was still on the car !!! she tells stories . if a cop calls this company for you don't let them take your car there read more

The worst! Sat for over four hours waiting for the tow service. When I called to inquire, they wouldn't answer my call. I had someone else call on the three-way, they picked up. The female dispatcher was extremely nasty and unprofessional. Informed me that if I had an issue that I could cancel the service. Please don't waste your time because you will spend most of your day sitting on the side of the road. One of the worst experiences I've ever had! read more

This towing company has no respect for customers. They be threatening and hostile for no reason. Hang up on you while in the middle of talking. They towed my car and once I went to go pick up my car, it had a flat tire. They are careless avoid them at all cost. I've been spreading the word around about this company. As another reviewer said, no one really enjoys a tow company. It means there's something wrong. I've dealt with this company twice in less than a month when my car wouldn't start, light up, or even unlock, even after the issue was supposedly fixed the first time. My insurance company's roadside assistance service called for the tow and K&R arrived within the 90-minute timeframe both times. The second time, I rode with the driver to the dealership and he was really personable and friendly. He sympathized with my situation since he was the one who towed my car the first time when it got "repaired" by the dealership. Overall, I'm happy with their service. I didn't have to wait too long for a tow and the driver was friendly. Different story for the dealership, but that's for another review. read more

Waited for four hours for tow truck. Received an ETA stating driver will arrive in 90 minutes. After forty-five minutes I saw a strange number on my caller ID (no indication that it was tow driver) I did not answer the call. It was the tow driver and to be fair he called two times. Within minutes I figured out it was the tow company and immediately called the company and spoke with the dispatcher. After explaining the situation to her, she informed me that the driver was dispatched to the next job. All of this occurred within fifteen minutes. I expressed my disappointment and was told it was my fault for not answering the telephone. She told me request was deleted and to call my insurance company and re-schedule. She succeeded in making a bad situation worse....I have never encountered such rude behavior from a frontline employee representative. read more

I had to deal with these people yesterday. They never showed up to tow my car. I waited 45 mins as they said and NEVER SHOWED UP. I then called the company to see what was going on and the guy who answered the phone hung up on me. Great service people. I would go elsewhere. read more

Most pleasant tow experience ever. I'm bad with names, so I can't recall the gentleman's name, but he was within the allotted time quoted and had a positive attitude, wonderful personality, and a smile to match. K&R Towing - Best towing experience ever! That is saying a lot because having to have car towed and then fixed is not fun - Towing Near Me - Jessup, Maryland

I was really worried because all of my lugnuts broke off my rear tire. My wheel was literally holding on by 1 bolt! Robinson(I believe that was his name) was very professional and extremely calm. He assessed the situation and was careful with the hookup. It took him about 15 minutes and he was on his way. Also, he was on time! read more

I'm not a customer but saw one of K&R tow trucks outside my house to tow the car of my neighbor's guest. I knew something was wrong as the truck had its hood open and driver was scratching his head about something. Then the operator tried to lower the flat bed and then hydraulic oil started gushing out from underneath the flat bed all over the street. It seems the driver panicked and frantically left the mess behind. Very unprofessional. I called the number on the side of the truck to tell them they need to properly clean up the spill. The dispatcher denied it and said he didn't know what I was talking about and hung up. The oil puddle is spreading now covering the entire width of the street and flowing along the curb and will ultimately end up in the storm runoff polluting nearby streams. I sent all my photos to our community HOA, who will report it to Howard County and hopefully the EPA. It is really simple, if you make a mess, clean it up. read more

I was involved in an accident on 95 and K&R was called by the state police for me. They showed up quickly, were very polite, personable and walked me through what was happening. Wednesday night I had an accident on 95 Northbound. The normal people were called and the state police called for a towing service for me. K&r showed up within a matter of minutes and asked me to sit in the front of their car while they took care of everything. The gentleman checked to make sure that I was okay and drove me to a destination that was safe for me. I have roadside assistance for my car but had chosen to let the state police take care of getting me transportation. I've never had a towing silver show up so quickly and be so caring and efficient. K & R you guys are awesome thank you so much for being there when you were needed. read more

I got my car towed from these guys a couple months ago. Stephen was the name of the driver. He was generally unpleasant to deal with the entire time, not the biggest deal in the world though; I'm not asking to get wined-and-dined by my tow truck driver. The real kicker was after he dropped my car off at the dealership, he stole my entire change jar out from the center console and a wallet that that keep business cards in (I imagine he figured there would be money in it). I assume this disgusting mouth-breathing troll will eventually will get what he deserves, but in the meantime, id go with another towing company. read more
