This location's gone down hill drastically. The service is terrible. I'll call In my order show up 20 minutes and they've just started making it when I walk through the door. Wings are never extra crispy how I order them and there's hardly any sauce on them. My sweet potatoes fries are extremely skimp (not at all like the piedmont location) and are often times burned. I won't be going back to this one. The express location is sadly better. Update: went back again this Friday and the food was still terrible. No fuss American food. I've ordered their veggie and black bean burgers $6 -both times to-go. The food is good for the price (quality isn't bad but not exceptionally good). The space is nice! Lobby/cashier area is spacious. Seating area includes retro boots and walls are decorated with a detailed mural of the U.S. Theres a pool table and extra patio sedating. I've never seen this place lively- kinda always sparse. It took me about 20min to get my order. In this regard, it's not fast food service. I didn't mind as they also have the option to call and make an order but I choose to walk-in. Plenty of parking! And it's right by a QT. read more

Have given many chances to us cafe, before, during, and after covid. 90% of the time, the order is wrong, either something missing, burger missing ingredients or having ingredients we didn't ask for, etc. last straw was today..... waited and waited for our order. Finally went and checked, and they had called the wrong name for the order, so we had no clue it was ready. Fries were cold. Asked for sour cream for the quesadilla and was told very rudely that it was $0.58 extra, which is not charged when you order online. Decided to stop by here to grab lunch today. I've eaten at the spring rd location (which was great) so I figured this would be the same. I had the 10pc xtra spicy n requested xxcrispy with a side of fries. Food: Wings were tasty and hot as hell as I liked. But when it came to the crispy, there was no such thing. Also, after moving some of my wings I ran into one which was all bone no meat. Smh. The fries also were not the best, greasy and were not fully cooked. I understand they use fresh potatoes but too many of the fries still had a crunch which was unfortunate. I brought it to the attention of the staff of my wing & they acknowledged & apologized & made me another 6 to compensate. Which was great. Inside: Store was presentable & most things in order. but the booth area I sat in had napkins under the table and table itself had greasy hand prints all over lol. Now I love this place. They recently renovated, and I haven't visited sense they completed the reno. And the place looks great. But!! I'm wondering did they renovate the staff as well!! I initially called in my order, the young lady put me on hold for over 8 minutes. Obviously she forgot that she put me on hold and in the mist of those 8 minute, she help over 7 people and still didn't come to the phone. I arrived and still holding the phone line all while waiting to be help "JUST BY HER" so I can tell her ( you can hang the phone up now I'm here). Of course she looked like a deer stuck in the headlights. She did apologize saying she was very busy. I thought to myself....they renovated the Resturant and like so many restaurants the guality of the food changes, the portion size get smaller all while the prices get higher. This is my mom and I's favorite wing place in the Atlanta area. The food is unexpectedly good. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center. The parking lot is not the biggest. The inside of the restaurant is decorated like a sports bar. They have pool tables. I also believe that you can play pool for free. The lemon pepper wings are exceptional and have plenty of flavor. The fries are also great; perfectly seasoned and served hot. You can definitely tell that they make their ranch in-house as well. Overall, we love this place and we will always return whenever we're in the area. read more

Great experience! In town visiting, walking to our condo. Saw this place and decided to pop in. Warm greeting from Kay-darling girl! She was so friendly and helpful. Ordered medium hot and Carolina bbq wings-excellent! Cooked perfectly and not drowning in sauce...just the perfect amount. Fries are hand cut and deelish! Huge portions. Black bean and turkey burger were good. Try the local Sweetwater IPA-so good! Oh, and they have a full bar and pool tables...but not the typical dark bar scene. The food was decent except for the fact that they forgot the fries I ordered along with half of the toppings (they came with the order and were not added on as extra). It would have been semi-good if they had remembered the toppings as all they put on my burger was cheese, mayo, and ketchup. It especially stank because it cost $20+ dollars to even get that food. Closing manager on tonight, 6/21/23, was very rude. As someone who has also been a closing manager of a different establishment, I understand needing to take care of closing procedures but her delivery in telling us the restaurant was closed was very rude. She said she was closing down and that we could go somewhere else, not a very smart thing to say when considering profit. My family comes every Wednesday night and we will be going elsewhere as per her suggestion. She was in a rush because SHE lost track of time (she stated this as well). It's not like we intended on spending the night there so a friendly "hey, just letting you guys know we're closing in such and such minutes" would have sufficed. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for 3 years and almost always get my food to go. I have always loved the food and the experience has been good up until recently. Its important to note that I have a medical condition which per my doctors advisement, I am not to wear a mask. Hence why I always order to go. When I ordered there last week I was asked to wear a mask and I notified the cashier I wasn't able to, he wasn't happy but allowed me to pick up my order and I left. No problem. Tonight when I arrived to pick up another Togo order, I was asked to put on a mask and then told to leave if I would not, even after telling the cashier that I have a condition which prevents me from being able to. The cashier insisted I either put on the mask or leave or he would call the cops. Not only did he embarrass me in front of the entire restaurant and staff, he also refused to allow me to pick up my order. They do not offer curbside pickup either, so if you have extreme ashthma like myself and cannot wear a mask, steer clear of this place! They were rude and extremely unempatheic/unaccommodating to someone who is considered to have a disability covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act and honestly they don't deserve my business or yours. And to the employee whom was unapologetic - yes, it's a private business but you also have an obligation to provide accommodations to people with disabilities. I'll be filing a complaint. read more

We ordered tonight through Grubhub. Our awesome delivery driver let us know that she thought the restaurant left part of our order out. I checked it at the door and found that US Cafe left out our 10 piece wings. Our driver offered to contact Grubhub for us, but we never heard anything. I called US Cafe to complain and was informed by Dennis that there was nothing he could do. Apparently US Cafe is unable to contact Grubhub or arrange for another driver. He didn't offer to refund the cost of the wings or anything else. Until US Cafe figures out how to deliver, I recommend not ordering from them. We had to contact Grubhub directly to get a refund which took WAY too long. The food we did receive, however, was really good, as usual. How the mighty have fallen. I used to live in Smyrna have been eating at this establishment for close to 25 years. This used to be my GO-TO restaurant and the food was excellent. I left Smyrna about 6 years ago and have only stopped by a couple of times recently. I stopped for wings with my wife about a year ago, I'd bragged about the food for some time. Her wings were ordered dry but came wet, her wings ordered mild and were very hot. My wings were cooked to death and dry. Everyone can have an off day. Today we got the craving while in the area and tried them again. Lunch was $35 without tip for 6 wings, 10 wings, fries, celery, rings and 2 teas. The onion rings are nothing more than over cooked frozen grocery store type, the fries were swimming in grease, soggy and warm. The wings were the smallest I have ever seen! I had to take the celery back, it was either pale white or turning brown and limp, what it was replaced with was just as bad, we pitched it. $35 for 16 wings and 2 teas, everything else was discarded. read more

Maybe it's just me..... Or maybe based on past reviews I should have ordered a burger. Needless to say I was not impressed. I went to US Café only because it was a meeting spot for my run group. And it was able to accommodate about 11 of us fine with high top tables. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, so I won't write about it here either. There are 3 pool tables and some TVs so with enough beer you can be entertained. I ordered a 10 piece lemon pepper wings. Blah. The wings were quite small so I am glad I got 10. The flavor was blah and watery. I should have taken a picture of the left over grease? and lemon paper seasoning in the bottom of the basket. They were cooked well just not flavorful. I think it was blue cheese that came with it. I love some blue cheese. Dip my finger in and pull out chunks of blue cheese love blue cheese. This was just a watered down version of probably a non brand blue cheese dressing. And not one sliver of a piece of celery. None. They had about 4 beers on draft and with so many beer selections in the world today they had no real good ones. I had yuengling and that was the best choice. My group didn't verbalize any complaints but mostly everyone else had burgers. You have to order your food at the counter and then wait for them to call you. My family and I have been going to US Cafe for over 15 years. Although the restaurant has gone down in recent years due to changes in ownership, we have never had an issue with our order or staff until a few Fridays ago. We went in to order our usual order of a 50 pcs wing and were told by the "manager" that we could not split the order into three flavors, although we had always done so. We asked if this was a new rule, and she stated it wasn't. We then asked if she could look at our past orders, but she said she did not see where we had ever ordered in that manner. She stated she could only see the few times we ordered a 35 pcs wing and split it into three flavors which we were told we could do. Why would you be able to split a lower amount of wings into three flavors but cannot split a higher amount in the same way? When asked if there was any way she could make an exception for such long-standing customers, her unwillingness and aloofness to do this was a complete turnoff. We will no longer frequent this restaurant. Please hire better management and employees with at least basic customer service skills! read more

Ever since this location changed ownership a few years ago, it has gone downhill. The new owner put in some new fixtures, signage, & paint and forgot about the FOOD. The french fries USED TO BE slightly crispy, seasoned just right, & always fresh and hot. They've been replaced with a limp and greasy, luke-warm mess! They come out dark and super soggy, like someone forgot to change the grease, or uses 2xs what's needed. It's just gross. I can't believe that someone from the kitchen even has the nerve to throw these in a basket and serve em up, as if they're even remotely edible. And this is not a one-time deal....Oh no, I was stupid enough to give the fries a 2nd, and then my boyfriend a 3rd try. We had to throw them out the last times. Just disgusting... The management/ownership has also changed the ingredients that had long-served the restaurant's signature flavors in the past. The turkey burger buns were changed to something that tastes like cardboard, those signature sweet yellow onions are gone, & the meat patty (no matter what you get - ground turkey, beef, chicken) is never hot! I don't even know how that's possible. Is this fresh cook-to-order food or some heat-lamp warmed crap? There used to be a friendly Mexican guy (Tony) who ran the place and knew everyone's name and order. Today there's hardly anyone there for very long. The turnover speaks loudly to the overall management and decline of the place. Sadly the community feel of the old Smyrna US Cafe is long gone. There is no genuine customer connection. There is certainly no longer any focus on food quality whatsoever here. Take your money elsewhere! read more

I was surprised by this place. I hadn't heard about it until one of my friends who use to live in Smyrna took me here and I ended up being very grateful for that. The service is a walk up bar where you order your food. The majority of the menu seemed to be a la carte but there were some combso (listed as Special #1, #2, etc). Once you order they take your name, no number or anything like that given. You're welcome to seat yourself wherever you like; i recommend sitting outside, they have a nice patio area and it's surprisingly quiet. The food is really good. Their fries are similar to Five Guys Burgers if you've been there, if not, you're in for a treat. Their burgers are more like steak burgers from steak and shake but bigger which is always a bonus. I also tried the US hotdog which didn't disappoint. Overall it's an enjoyable lunch spot with reasonable prices. I originally had this down as a 4 star but i can't think of any complaints, which is rare, so i bumped it up to 5. read more

I ordered Togo and picked up my food. I paid for HOT wings and go mild which I don't like. I order a burger and as you can see in the photo was clearly burnt. I called and spoke to the manager who ask me to send pics of the food. He admitted the wings looked mild and the buns were burnt. I paid $30 for these 2 meals and the manager said he can credit $18 for the burger and wings so I had to pay $12 for the fries and shake. Seriously??? My co-worker turned me onto to this location. It standard wing and burgers and salads. It was mostly not memorable with a few exceptions. I went here because it was on the way home, and I wanted to find a place with wings and somewhere to watch the last half of the Falcons game. Placing the order is simple, you tell them what you want and then over a loud speaker they will call you to come to the counter when its ready. Good fries, and they have malt vinegar at their condiment stand. Memorable. There's a large room with TV's and high tables, and then another room with Tv;s and low tables and booths. My daughter still talks about the Cajun Chicken Salad she had made her sick for three days and we went over a month ago. I had wings and they were not better than any other wing place I've gone. They can make them medium with lemon pepper sprinkled on... that's all I require from a wing place most times. Average size wings...not too large and not too small. I use to go to the US CAFE off Linbergh Station, but since its closure I have been going to the one on S Cobb Drive. Today, I had a bit of a problem with the customer service. I ordered a kids burger meal and was told I couldn't get a cajun seasoning for the extra $.25 up-charge. My extra crispy wings, were soft and not crispy whatsoever. I usually don't do teriyaki wings because I had a bad experience a long time ago with that flavor at a different spot. BUT I was ready to try again. AND LET ME JUST SAY...they did not disappoint! Wings were great fries were perfect. The only gripe I have is that this place makes their own ranch and it was terrible. Too runny and the taste was not the ranch creamy taste I was hoping for. We asked for specific things to be taken off (tomato, onions, etc) and they failed to do so, also forgetting the salad dressing. We decided to give them another chance and ordered from them again.
