Haven't been here in a couple of years. They always had solid wings, and still do. Needed a quick lunch, I popped in and ordered 10 hot honey combo. A tad expensive IMO, but the wings were cooked exactly like I like them...crunchy and still juicy, but not to the point of overcooked and dry.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it it! The food was really good, thoroughly cooked and seasoned really well! We had the tender basket for my daughter, hot dog and fries for my son, my husband had the burger and fries, and I had the quesadilla. We also got the brownies and had a few milkshakes! My husband did say that he wished the burger was bigger, but it was good. He ended up eating some of my quesadilla as well. The service was a little rocky in the beginning. They seemed as if they didn't want to be bothered initially when we walked in, and couldn't really get them to speak. We were polite but didn't seem to get the same respect back. After we received our food, however, we did see a change in attitude. I checked previous reviews and it seems like the service is what is really bringing the ratings down. Because I experienced it a bit myself, I would just encourage prioritizing training on service, smiling, and acknowledging customers. The food is definitely good, but people remember how you make them feel. We sat outside to eat, and we made friends with some of the other customers which also made it fun for the kids. The tables were pretty clean when we sat, and they did check on us to see if we were good. They have an intercom to communicate about your order if you are waiting outside, which is a plus. There was music outside and we all just chilled out, danced a little, and ate our food. They have a pinball machine and pool tables inside which is great for the family or for a night out. They do cost though so bring some quarters! Overall, good food and we enjoyed!

The food was great & the order didn't take forever to come. I went during lunch and they were still able to get people in and out pretty quickly. The wings were fresh and the fries weren't overcooked either. The outside seating was pretty cool.

We both thought the food was great, no complaints. I would say probably the best burger I've had in a minute. The person on the box was very friendly and provided excellent customer service when taking our order. Then when pulling around they double checked that everything was correct and sent us on our way. I would definitely recommend. Enjoy.

I opted out of the arugula that comes on it by default. I also got their mac n' cheese, and a chocolate shake. It may be the way their brisket blend always is, but the burger patty was a bit tough or overcooked compared to what I'm used to with a standard Angus beef burger or steak burger. It also lacked seasoning, but was saved by the goat cheese and jam. The bun was ok, and it was very messy as 3 of my 4 fried green tomatoes slid out immediately along with a healthy portion of goat cheese and jam. I ate at their outdoor seating area so no biggy, but I definitely wouldn't eat this in your car. However, the fried green tomatoes were very good. The mac n cheese was mediocre and the chocolate shake was good but had an overpowering flavor of Hershey's syrup. Even though it was very busy between the cars at the drive thru and delivery drivers waiting for order pickups, my meal came out in about five minutes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I've eaten burgers all over the world and I would recommend the visit, but it doesn't rank anywhere near my top 25. Since this was my first visit I plan on returning a couple more times soon so I can try other burger options and update my review if I experience anything different. Burger: 3.7/5 (the toppings carried it) Mac n cheese: 2.5/5 Shake: 3.5/5 Note: No indoor seating. Outside seating available.

I had never tried their food before but read some reviews and figured it was worth a try. Their website offered easy ordering in advance so we didn't have to time it out the day of. We ended up going for 100 wings which came with 4 different flavors. We opted for honey hot, medium, lemon pepper wet and hot teriyaki, but then the website made us choose flavors for 5 random wings? Confusing lol, but I did it so we could complete the order. For 100 wings, he ended up paying about $103 after taxes. Not too bad! I wasn't there when he picked up the order but they did text and email him in advance to confirm that the order was ready, and even called him to be sure he knew they were ready for pickup. When he returned with the wings, it was a huge tray that included the wings separated by dividers as well as some celery. The wings weren't huge but they worked. The varied flavors were delicious - the lemon pepper wet were my favorites! They also included a bunch of small ranch/blue cheese cups on the side. Such a smooth ordering process and a delicious bunch of wings - will definitely order again.

I'd sent it to my better half and he said, "let's go." OK... it's a hole in the wall in a strip center. But you know that sometimes those places are absolutely wonderful. And this was one of those times. From the time we walked in, we were welcomed. The lady working the front went through the menu... explained the options and even told us about options that weren't listed. I decided on the Heat Combo... the hubby decided on the Regular Combo. You're going to find that everything is made to order. So nothing just sitting around. The sandwiches are what I'd call burritos in a bun. Wrapped in foil and then paper. We were warned to keep the foil on... And with good reason! These are not sit in the car and eat sandwiches. They're moist... they're juicy and DELICIOUS! Now, I got the one called the Heat. It was not overly spicy but had a good level of heat. I was told if you like it spicy, just ask for hot sauce. I'm kinda torn by that because the general flavor of the sandwich is really good and wouldn't want to cover that up. The Combo comes with thick potato wedges. They were good and neither of us were able to finish all of them. They have some side dipping sauces I want to try next time. We opted to dine in. The dining room is a bit small and standard. There are only about 4 or 5 tables. But, it's clean (spotless clean) and does the trick. I imagine if it's busy it can get quite full. Honestly... this style of food is pretty unique to the Metro. It's not quite a Philly Restaurant... it's not quite a traditional Chili Shop... It's more of what you'd see with a "loose meat" restaurant from the Midwest. But whatever you think it is, it works. And we'll be back!

Great service and great food. Highly recommend. I will be back to try additional dishes very soon.read more

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

I had been wanting to try their food so figured give it a try. I placed an order for Haitian patties, Oxtail, and a side salad. I use the unkind app but it was not working so could not use it to pay. The hostess said it was an ongoing issue. Let's discuss the food. My coworker enjoyed her Haitian patties. She said the island slaw was really good. The side salad is the house salad. I asked for balsamic dressing when given the option. There was none on that salad. Sigh. The oxtail were good. They were very well seasoned and had a good flavor. The rice and beans were good but not enough. The rice could have been cooked a tad bit longer. It wasn't fine bur like 1 minute when have been perfect. I did not dine in but it looked nice inside. There was a decent amount of people there. It was clean and nicely decorated. I would eat here again but I didn't like the price difference in the oxtails or lack of salad dressing. I think dining there those issues could have been addressed but I was back at work.
