I left a negative review, all of a sudden I'm getting 10x more emails and letters in my mail harassing me after being beyond reasonable every time I've had an issue here. Spent years in Florida with the car and at several dealerships without issue. Always a problem here or getting my car back in worse shape. The car has sentimental value is the only reason I've kept it after such horrible service.

Took the vehicle home and my wife calls me saying the vehicle won't start sometimes and I thought that was weird so I checked the battery. "Seems" as if someone loosened the connectors on the battery terminal. We never tampered or messed with the battery and never had that issue before. A few more miles down the road our TPMS light turned on. Magically after getting new tires put on our sensors went bad on the tires and had to get new ones installed (another $600). A week later our tire is losing air and they accused my wife of running over a nail. Turns out one of the stems was damaged and we had to come out of pocket for that as well. TLDR. Went there with one issue, came back with multiple more. One of them could've ended up being more expensive if they decided they weren't going to tell the truth and I didn't look at it first.

Instead I was met with locked doors with service agents behind glass. I was told to return to my truck, in the service bay, and wait. Two weeks later I went to replace the cabin and engine air filters and noticed that the coolant was an inch below minimum. I checked the "routine service inspection" sheet and it was marked as "good". There was literally probably 5 ounces in the reservoir. This is, in fact, not good. Now I question if the entire inspection and service was a sham. To put the icing on the cake, they even tried to give me a cash offer on our vehicle by phone as I pulled out of the dealership. I'll most likely go elsewhere for service.

Every idiot light came on the dash. I took the car and left it at the Gil's, Rivertown Subaru advised me not to drive it. Gil's took it to Rapid Tire for repairs. Rapid Tire discovered that it needs a new transmission, and Rapid Tire declined to repair it. Gil's wants to put me in another vehicle. That vehicle was chosen for me, by Gil's. I was told with my credit and history, 'THIS' vehicle is what I qualified for. I did not have any option to select a vehicle. And they asked for $1500.00 down, that $500 down payment is a joke to get you in the dealership. I am fighting to get my money back. I don't want another jalopy from that dealership. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. My salesman, Mr. Hodges, was very nice and professional. It's Gil's Auto Sales that I have grown to hate!!!
