I have now been here for 3 body massages and 4 or 5 foot massages. The foot massages have been done by men while the body massages were all done by women. All were very good. All had very limited English but understood everything necessary so it was not a problem. I don't go there for conversation. I am diabetic and have a great deal of pain and discomfort in my feet. My doctor recommended foot massages so I tried this place. It is nicely decorated, clean and usually has gentle, Asian instrumental music in the background. Everyone is very polite. The prices are quite reasonable. They frequently checked to see if all was well. After the foot massages, I feel like I have new feet for a few days! The massages are deep tissue but not painful. Found this place on groupon and gave it a try since it was a fair price. I called before purchasing and she told me insisted I can pay there. I went with my boyfriend for a couples massage. I am aware the massage was "deep tissue" but they were extremely rough. We left there with more pain then we came in with. That's not why I am giving it one star....the reason is because when paying the cashier, she asked for a tip....I then gave $10, $5 for each masseuse. The cashier then goes "tip is minimum of $10 per masseuse....I replied with "I thought tip was whatever we want and can give. Still, I gave them the $20 tip (regretting it very much afterwards). A few days later, the credit card I paid with (which was last used here) had fraud on the account. It could just be coincidence, but i use this card ALL the time and this never happened to me. I bought the 60 min massage on groupon. I made an appointment and the lady sounded very dry over the phone. When I got there it looked very suspicious . The man brought me to the back and told me to undress and put a towel on. I was not informed on who was going to give me a massage he just came right in and took the towel off and covered me again (he could have warned me) he was very rough, I would have preferred a woman for it being my first time. I didn't know what to expect. He was breathing so loud. So awkward but what really makes me dislike this place is the fact the lady told me to tip which was okay so I gave him 5$ lady said that's not enough you need to give more for what he's done. I'm like well I don't have cash and walked out. You can't tell someone to tip. Honestly the massage wasn't even that great. I woke up the next day feeling like a jackhammer was on my back. Ummm....how is this place in business in Westfield? I walked in and was brought into a so/so looking massage room. I was given a thick TOWEL to put over myself (this made me sweat the entire time and not feel the massage). Further, there was no headrest, so my face was lying flat on the hard table, and I could barely breathe. The massage began, and I couldn't feel a thing through the towel, so I tried to communicate this to my masseuse. He left the room, came back in with two women who left the door to the room open as they spoke to me and informed me that the masseuse does not speak any English so I would have to speak through them. At several points during the massage, I thought about getting up and leaving, but I didn't want to offend the masseuse. I left the parlor more stressed than when I entered. Please, please don't give this place your business! I promise, it's not even worth the Groupon price. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! This is THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life! I called to schedule a reservation for 3:30pm today. I got a groupon deal for a couples deep tissues massage and to my luck I was pleased they had an appointment on Valentine's Day. When me and my boyfriend show up at our time we are told that they can't take us today and that if we were used a groupon couple we couldn't use it until after March 1st! I was LIVID! They lady kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell her and explain to her that on the phone she never said I couldn't use the coupon on Valentine's Day. The only words I have for her is that is a VERY RUDE BITCH. I wanted to do something nice for myself and my boyfriend and just relax on Valentine's Day, needless to say URelax RUINED Valentine's Day! The lack of customer service and the fact that she wouldn't own up to her mistakes was absolutely disgusting to me! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! My fiancée and I called to make a spur of the moment couples massages appointment. They had no problem taking us which was probably due to how slow the place was when we got there. We found Urelax on Groupon. $100 for 60 minute couples massage with no added bonuses such as complimentary beverages or treats. They gave us the deal even though we didn't purchase a Groupon. We went to Livingston location. This massage place is pretty typical not a luxury spa but nonetheless clean. The room was a typical massage room, they didn't give us robes to changed into just towels which was kind of surprising and the towels were rough. Soothing spa music was played and the massage therapist used scented lotion. The massage in itself was great probably the best I've had, though I'm not used to revealing so much of my body. Our massage therapists seemed nice and worked out our problem areas. With a little more thought to the little finishing touches, I think this place can improve on its overall ambience and wow factor. Until then, will likely not return. If you're looking for a place that does the trick this is it, if you're looking for a spa experience, look elsewhere. read more

this massage was painful. several times I had to tell the massage therapist to ease up. big language barrier causes lots of problems. I yelled out OUCH a few times. started massage on top of towel for almost half the total time which was really weird. asked him to give me nice foot massage which he replied "half hour more??" no, as part of THIS massage, sir. and he didn't. the ambiance was nice (suggesting a nice relaxing spa experience!) clean, no rudeness to me. I went to U Relax today with a groupon I had received for a deep tissue massage for Christmas. I had gone online to read the reviews prior to scheduling an appointment & was surprised to see how many bad reviews it had. To be honest, I was questioning if I even wanted to go. I called last week to schedule my massage and the lady took my number and quickly scheduled me at the time I requested. I arrived 15 minutes early and was greeted by a very sweet gentleman at the front desk that took my groupon without any issues. There is a cash fee of $3.50 that isn't covered by the groupon so come prepared with cash. Now to warn you, English is the staff's second language so for some people, communication might be a little tough. But they know enough to be able to speak to you and communicate the basics. I was quickly taken in for my massage even though I was early which was nice. The place is very relaxing, all the lights were dim and the place was very quiet. The rooms are very clean! My masseuse was a female and she was awesome! To warn you, if you're looking for a fancy spa experience, this is not the place for you! Deep tissue massages aren't meant to be relaxing. They're meant to release muscle pain & for health benefits. Their Tui Na massage techniques definitely get all those muscles knots out and release muscle tension. Tui Na is geared towards helping you alleviate pain and maintaining balance in your body with your physical and mental health. I have huge back problems and I walked out feeling like a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulders, neck and back. My masseuse did a great job and used just the right amount of pressure to work out the muscle tension I had. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you're looking for a good deep tissue massage to help alleviate muscle tension or knots. And please make sure you tip on the actual price of the service, not the groupon price. If you have a good massage, tip them appropriately! Tips go a long way with them :) read more
