As I was sore all week leading up to the competition, I decided to email Steph and set up an appointment for the day before the competition. She was even able to accommodate my schedule for a massage later during the day! Steph's massage was hands down (pun intended) the best I've ever had. She worked on my entire body and even found areas that I didn't know I had issues with! By the time I woke up the next morning, ALL my soreness was gone and I felt spry and ready for the competition. I even ended up finishing 5th overall in my division for my first time competing! I give all the credit to Steph for getting me ready, and not in pain, for the competition. I loved her massage so much that we've already established that I'll be going the day before any competition I do from now on cuz you definitely can't mess with a good luck charm! During my massage and then facial the lady left the room at least 3 times to attend to customers. It was quite annoying. She was out so long at one point that the other woman, who was working on my daughter, stepped in to continue my facial. 2. My daughter has flawless face. No pimples, nothing. The woman who was doing her facial tells us that my daughter needs a different kind of facial because she has "acne". We declined. I knew that's just to sell us more stuff. When my daughter's facial was done, her face was full of tiny red bumps from popping stuff. Again, my daughter doesn't have any pimples. I know cuz she lives with us at home and she takes care of her skin. 3. It was supposed to be a 1 hour facial and a 1 hour massage. Yet they finished on us 15 minutes earlier. I politely requested a mix of Swedish and deep tissue massage, and the employee reacted by laughing at me and speaking to me in a very condescending way, as if my request was stupid. The interaction felt rude and unprofessional from the beginning. She interrupted me while I was answering questions and treated me with impatience and disrespect the entire time. He does not give you the conventional massage that strokes every inch of your muscles just for the heck of it. He spends time on parts that need it. You don't even have to tell him where, he finds it! There was a month that I went there every week! Now I come every 10 days or so. Not going anywhere else! Tonight... They close at 9pm. I called at 805pm asking if they could still accommodate me. The lady who always answers the phone hesitated (it was 805pm, after all), then told me to come in 10 minutes. I said I could come in 5 minutes. 10 minutes, she insisted. When I drove up, all the lights were closed. Jason's car had just driven up a few seconds ahead of me. Apparently he had already closed shop and left but came back and opened the place just for me! Extra tip, of course!
