I came home last Thursday night (April 11th) to find water dripping from a recessed ceiling…read moresprinkler. It was coming down slowly so I wasn't too panicked. And it stopped when the rain did. It was quite late so I decided to google to find a roof repair person and call them in the morning. I used yelp and found MCS roofing. They had good reviews so I called them first thing in the morning Marlon was able to come out by 9:30 am (Friday) to check out the roof. When he arrived, he gave me his business card and introduced himself. He took off his shoes to see where the water was coming down inside the house. It had stopped dripping by this point, and I lucked out that Friday was a dry day. Then he went outside. I have a 3 story taller/skinny house. He was able to anchor his ladder so he could safely go onto my roof and check it out. Marlon found 2 vents on my roof were damaged. One was cracked so bad it was allowing water to go into my house. He showed me pictures of what was wrong, we discussed payment (by check) and he headed out to quickly buy a replacement. I ended up having him replace both damaged ones. He supplied me with plenty of pictures before and after so I could try and do a homeowner's insurance claim. He was done within 1 hour 30 mins or so. He agreed to come back in a week to inspect for interior damage in the attic area. He came by today as planned and got into my attic. He took a few pictures and I could see only a small wet spot, that was drying already so there was no need for additional repairs. I also asked him if he had a flooring guy he could recommend, and he did give me the number of his friend. I was very impressed with how fast Marlon could help me and the high quality of work Marlon did and would hire him again anytime!

The crew worked incredibly hard, putting in long hours to finish our new roof exactly on the promised timeline. What impressed us most was how respectful they were of our property. I cannot ring enough praises for Legacy Roofing Northwest. I can easily second, word for word, all…read morethe 5 star reviews preceding mine. Owner Kenny Jobe was a total pleasure to work with. His standout character, professionalism, workmanship, knowledge and guidance are all above par. I obtained estimates from other companies for 3 roofing options (engineered shake reproductions, real cedar shakes and metal). During the bidding process, I sent several emails to Kenny with numerous questions and concerns. This, before even signing a contract, could have tested many a contractor's patience. But Kenny replied with courtesy to each one promptly and thoroughly. After viewing samples from three different companies, we decided on DaVinci Roofscapes' engineered, composite shakes. It looked the most like our original thick, cedar, hand-split shakes that we'd had for decades. We wanted it so badly we were willing to wait out the 22 week lead time from the manufacturer. That meant it would put us smack in the middle of a Northwest winter when they arrived. I was super worried about a very worn roof being exposed to the elements any longer and installing a new roof in wind, rain and cold. I was given peace of mind when Kenny offered, at no extra charge, to protect any parts of the roof where shakes were missing during the summer to endure until we could commence the project in January. Legacy also is careful to cover any exposed areas if there is wet weather while removing the old and installing the new roof. Kenny is very detailed in his interactions, paperwork and most importantly the workmanship. He was on site every day, takes great pride in the job and goes the extra mile to solve any problems that arise. His crew was really fun and hard-working. We are incredibly happy with our beautiful new roof and gutters!

When I opened the door he told me about the shingles I have and some issues with them from the years around when I had them installed. He helped me contact the manufacturer and I was able to get help with the warranty. Roof still needed to be replaced so Star did an excellent job about a week ago. The Team Leader Jim was very polite and professional. He explained to me what they are going to do and when they will be doing it. Kris didn't have to say anything about my old shingles or help me with a warranty claim but he did. I have since referred Star to 3 people. This is such a customer-centric and honest business. Didn't think it is possible but it is with Kris and Star Roofing.

Armor Roofing gets 5 Stars…read more We made contact thru Yelp, we got an immediate response, and William came to take a look at our roof the very next day. This was a complicated project involving a leaking glass sunroom built into a clay tile roof as well as seven more skylights. What we really appreciate about Armor Roofing is their rapid response and their constant communication, keeping us updated on the two month process of taking measurements, drawing up plans, providing a multi-page proposal with detailed costs, with updates on delivery of new synthetic tiles, skylights and a planned start date. Co-owner Santiago Rodriguez, who is project manager of challenging structures like ours, is a master craftsman. His hearty crew members are talented hard workers who arrived at dawn and worked way beyond dusk in the dark! They even pay attention to little details like cleaning up the ground around our house every evening before going home and texting us when they're going to be "10 minutes late"! After they did an amazing job, co-owner Santiago Guiterez came back a couple of weeks later and spent a day fixing a couple very small drip leaks on two facia corners. His mantra is "zero leaks." WOW!

We interviewed 6 to 8 roofing companies before starting the project and felt that Amor had the best value for money. I am happy to recommend them.
