Came here Saturday at 1PM. Place was 20% full. Great display with some of the food items in plastic to see. I already looked at the menu and knew I wanted the Honey Butter Bread but seeing it in plastic I knew it was a good choice. After ordering they give you a disk that will buzz when your order is ready to pickup at the ordering counter. Seat yourself style/no table service. Atmosphere is nice but not as "plant" forward as I expected. Friend and I split the: Honey Butter Bread: 12/10: Sooooo good. Not quite as tall as the plastic demo but more than enough for 2 people. Cashier did say it would be a full 15minutes wait for this and totally worth it. Bread was fresh, soft and soaked in deliciousness. Mango Bingsu: 10/10, thankfully there is a single order as that was More than enough for 2 people. Wasn't just a snow cone (shaved ice) as the shaved ice was milky and creamy. Lots of mango, Mango ice cream on top was decent. Highly recommend. Blue Milkis: tasted like blue Gatorade. Not milky. Got 2 macaroons but ended up giving mine to another friend later in the day. Friend got a iced latte and it tasted like boring coffee. Overall REALLY great afternoon snack food here! Drinks were meh but maybe just our poor choices.

    Cute plants in the store

I used to come here often when they used to be Let Eat Snow, and I'm happy to see they've kept their bingsu menu but expanded their options and updated their interior with many many cute plants! It's a very aesthetic, modern atmosphere in there and a great place for a (very) mini photo session as they have decorated walls with hanging plants. Many of their plants are also for sale - we did see a few customers specifically visit just to purchase their flora. Finding parking here was very difficult, as they are located along a popular Korean strip mall that is usually PACKED. I quite remember the service being mediocre when I came in the past, and I'm sad to report that hasn't improved. The staff at the front rarely wear a smile, and aren't very friendly. Other than that, the place offers a relaxing and almost therapeutic ambience. This time around, we ordered their Brown Sugar Bingsu which resembled a deconstructed milk tea bubble tea. The bingsu tasted like shredded Kirin Milk Tea (which is obviously delicious), and their tapioca was cooked perfectly with the right amount of chewiness. I was worried the chilly bingsu would change the texture of the tapioca, but was happy they held up their texture until we finished our dessert.

This place has changed its name to this new one and the inside has changed a bit as there are plants all over the place. Greenery everywhere so it does provide some privacy between tables. This cafe offers a variety of drinks hot and cold along with bingsu, waffles and a new trend, the croffle! One item I thought was interesting is the mochi cheese pizza. They had one on display and I'm very curious how it would taste. We came here after a huge dinner so we only ordered a bingsu to go. There are 2 sizes to choose from and I thought the prices were maybe a dollar cheaper than other bingsu places. They gave us the silver cooler bag filled with ice and it was still perfect once we got it home. We tried the brown sugar one and it was delicious. The kids dug in before I could get a picture, lol! We would definitely order this flavour again, there was lots of tapioca chewy goodness. A prefect dessert on a summer evening!

Cute place to get some nice desserts and drinks! The overall ambiance is really peaceful as there's a lot of greenery inside. Service is very quick but keep in mind some items like the croffle might take time to make or just not be available.

Let's eat snow is a cute cozy Korean inspired dessert cafe! Cute and fun interior. Comfortable place to have some desserts and drinks with friends! I ordered the honey butter toast and Italian peach soda. The honey butter toast was okay. It wasn't the best I've had... but not the worst. I think they should have let the toast cool off a bit more before putting the whip cream on top. When I received the toast the whip cream had melted quite a bit into the toast and made it watery. Flavour is good though. The peach Italian soda was a little to sweet for my liking! I think I will order half sweet the next time I come! Something is recommend trying is the bingsu here. It's really good! I don't have any pictures but I've tried it the other times I came here and it was bombs!

This is a neat little Cafe with lots of plants throughout the place. They have gluten free, but no gluten+dairy free options for snacks, so i only got a drink. My drink order was made incorrectly at first, but the employee was quick to correct it. Nice little place.

Let Eat Snow is still the same great place! Recently they decided to expand their offerings with the addition of Sandwich Box. Sandwich Box offers 8 different sandwiches all created by Chef Jacob Lee of Culinary Team Canada. I was able to sample the Taiwanese Sandwich, Korean BBQ Beef sandwich and the Beef Pastrami. My top pick was the Taiwanese Sandwich ,not only because it was delicious but because it was very unique to me. The Taiwanese Sandwich (Original & Raspberry) seems like a simple sandwich but it is packed with flavor. It is made with fluffy bread, crusts cut off, and is a combination between salty and sweet flavors. The Original sandwich is a combination of salty egg, ham and cheese. While the Raspberry sandwich of course has jam along with cheese and egg (sounds weird but its SO good). I keep dreaming about these sandwiches almost a month later. They're an overload for your senses in the best way possible. My second favorite was the Korean BBQ Beef. Korean bulgogi is always a hit and Sandwich Box has shown that its just as good in a sandwich. You cannot go wrong with this one! The Beef Pastrami was also good as the pastrami is made in house. If you like dijon flavors you'll love this one! I'm happy to see the Let Eat Snow is expanding their menu beyond desserts. The team takes such good care of their restaurant and they really care about the quality of food that they are serving. I'm looking forward to coming back here for both sandwiches and desserts!

I've been aching to check one of these places out since they opened in the past year or so, and yum! Since I'm unable to consume bubbly tea (sad face), this is a fantastic Korean tasty summer treat alternative Better than our traditional sno kones, boasting delicious layers of fruit between shaved frozen milk and topped with a scoop of ice cream I thoroughly enjoyed my mango bowl with my friend who ordered a deep friend cinnamon-sugar-apple turnover thing (in the shape of a fish!), which went great with a scoop of mango bingsoo I'm not much of an ice cream fan but these bingsoo bowls are delicious! The cafe is also super cute with great interior decor and little knickknacks, with friendly staff that take the time to make your tasty treats Gotta check em out, bingsoo bowls!

The Korean bingsoo craze is in full swing these days. As always is the case in Edmonton, they open at the same time. Mind boggling. Snowy Dessert, Snowy Village, Snow Bear Dessert Café and Let Eat Snow. Yes, that's how it's spelt. LES is probably the least well known one but it shouldn't be. Located in the same plaza as Sambol Sri Lankan and Savoy's, its deep south side but worth the drive. Trust me. They did an amazing job with the decor; exposed brick, hipster light bulbs and a beautiful glittering snowflake mural. It's hip, warm and inviting. Lots of seating and there's a spacious feel to the place. The menu is simple with 6 flavours of bingsoo. They've added bubble bing (bubble tea and bingsoo combined), pizza and a couple new drinks for the upcoming winter. Everything is made fresh to order. Trip #1 First trip was on opening weekend, on a sunny Sunday afternoon. - Oreo choco bing ($10.70) - this was our favourite of the two. Really addictive and love how their is cookie crumbles hidden in the middle. The shaved ice itself is perfect; light, fluffy, creamy and smooth. I have no idea how it doesn't melt either. - Green tea bing ($10.70) - Jboi really liked this one but L and I thought their needed to be more green tea infused into the snow flakes. Trip #2 We dropped in on a Thursday evening (just before they were closing). - Snow bing ($11.50) - this was our favourite second time around. Lots of real strawberries, strawberry jam, ice cream and corn flakes hidden underneath. - Coffee bing ($10.70) - there was also some cocoa puffs hidden underneath. The coffee flavour is subtle, a bit underwhelming to be honest. Trip #3 We dropped in after dinner at Noodle Feast on a late Thursday evening. - Mango bing ($11.50) - all mango everything! This one was tasty and our favourite of the two this trip. Liked how they use fresh mango pieces. - Kong bing ($11.50) - this was my least favourite out of all the bings we tried. If you want injeolmi bingsoo, Hanjan's was much better. - Very berry Belgian waffle ($6.90) - the Belgian waffle was light but crispy and topped with whipped cream and fresh berries. It also comes with a side of ice cream. You'll be fighting over who gets last bite. Yum. Awesome spot to grab Korean dessert on the south side. It's the perfect after dinner treat. Ready for round 4.

This place feels huge and cozy at the same time, they did a great job with the decor. It is located two (maybe 3) doors down from Gangnam street food and obviously we had to go here for dessert. It is a weird thing to notice, but I loved how clean and shiny every surface was. They serve every imaginable flavour of shaved ice here and making a decision was hard. We ended up ordering the Oreo and taro flavours in small sizes and a banana cream waffle on the side. The shaved ice was just as delicious as expected and tasted as good as it looked. Their presentation is really top notch and it only adds to the experience. The waffles were a bit small and couldn have been served warmer, especially for their price. The service wasn't the quickest but it wasn't bad enough to dock points for. This is definitely a nice place to hangout at.

They had some new items on the menu and I was super excited to see their tea bing drink. It's basically a bubble tea topped with bing and it was delicious. The texture of the tapioca pearls were also really nice and it was cool to have something different since the pearls weren't like all the generic ones. They were irregular shaped (maybe squarish compared to the round ones at all other places) and had the texture of coconut jelly. I wasn't sure if you can adjust the sweetness level but I can see people might find it a bit too sweet. I love sweet things so it was delicious. I tried the earl grey milk tea bing this time but will definitely try the matcha tea bing next time. They also offered free cheesecake topping on the snow bing which was a nice treat.

    So delicious!!

Oh gosh... this place is so good. And we made the mistake of ordering far too many desserts but they were all quite delicious! I think I loved the toast the best, but we also enjoyed the cinnamon croissants and the Oreo bing. Suffice to say, my stomach is very happy and full from so many treats! But I'm happy to have found this place in this area of town and will hopefully visit frequently! A great place for dessert!

another hidden cafe gem in Edmonton close to the high level bridge…read more It's a cool cafe that looks like a house from the outside.

Oh. Em. Squeal!!!!!…read more First off, mad props to my friend for introducing me to this charming new addition to the coffee scene. Stop Gap opened just under a month ago in Oliver. They describe themselves as a temporary (stop gap) means to filling a need - coffee - served with an intentional and caring heart. Caleb Kam, the owner, is warm and inviting. He definitely knows his coffee. You may know him from his former life at Brown Butter Cafe. Caleb focuses on Canadian, fresh, and local! I spotted Ace and Candid today (Edmonton gems). The clientele were sweet and happy to offer up their faves! Nathan, a regular, told me Caleb is the go to for the best pour over in town. I opted for a Dirty Chai - made to perfection and my friend had a oat milk chai complete with milk art adorning the top. Both beverages were perfection. Coffee can be consumed in house complete with adorable coasters (el gato was my fave naturally, meow) or taken to go. For seating, there is a cute bench against the window front and a side room available if not booked. Caleb also had fresh donuts from Fuzion in Chinatown. My friend and I shared the cake and Cinnamon bun donut today. Sooo ridiculously good. Be sure to check Fuzion out online - they don't have a storefront so you will need to order in advance if you are looking to up your donut game at your next office meeting. I seriously can't wait to come back here again! Oh and they also have a beautiful meeting space available for rent on the main floor in case you want to bring your next staff meeting to the best coffee in town! Such a true pleasure meeting you today, Caleb! Stop Gap is exactly what YEG needs!
