It was a cool place that had some niche and unique items, but lots of pins and stickers and patches. They do have some interesting books and some apparel. The folks here have been wonderful about offering plant advice both by email and in-person. Here's a recent example: Last week, I had a plant crisis: my favorite plant -- a gloriously large begonia I purchased in honor of a dearly departed friend -- was dying and mostly gone. Despite my best efforts to save her, the fungal disease had already taken over. I was desperate to find a way to at least keep some part of her alive. So I reached out to Bark & Vine for help with emergency plant surgery and received incredible support. Isabella and Mariah talked me through how to propagate cane begonias from stem nodes, and were more than happy to advise. Then the next day, knowing how much sentimental value this begonia had for me, Christine reached out to me with a miracle: by chance, a stem from my original plant had actually fallen off and been propagated at the store into an adorable 4 inch beauty, which I could come by to pick up. I was overwhelmed with tears and joy at this news. Isabella, Mariah, and Christine, you really came through for me - Thank you!! I won't forget the kindness I received from you. I was here just looking around with a few other people. Not only was the furniture really nice but the people who ran it were lovely. It is nice to pop into a retail store and not have it be impersonal. This place was staffed with warm lovely people who may have been the owners but were helpful and lovely. From an informative, patient and friendly salesman (Joe) to everyone else in the store, we were treated as well as we could have desired. Prices were a bit lower than those of other dealers, too. The delivery was seamless, respectful of our home, and completed by two very pleasant people. They also have an extraordinary gift shop, which we found to be a hidden gem in itself. In all respects we find this store to be a refreshing departure from other furniture stores, and it will be our go-to place from here forward.

Upon entering immediately stuck with having just entered a mammoth shopping experience of mall vs big box warehouse shopping ~ WHERE DO WE GO!? SHOWROOM Sign pointing to 2nd floor. Ease of accessing a map kiosk basically left gazing up down all around lost in a fog of stuff yet not finding what we went for (home office set up). Notice representatives! 3 sitting at their desks...not one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. My husband calls out to one asking for a tape measure ~ he tells us they "over there on the post), yet doesn't get up to show us what post ~ my husband says "could you maybe help us we've never been here before I don't know where you mean"...this man never moved from his seat. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband said, "these people won't even get off their butts I'm not spending a dime here"! We're leaving! In the lobby on the way out a young man ~ Tyrese says have a nice evening says to come back which immediately triggers my husband into telling Tyrese he would never return as IKEA has no customer service. My friend and I had a great time looking through all their beautiful gems. I loved their collection of vintage silk scarfs from Japan. They're of stunning quality and vibrant colors. They have jewelry, formal dresses, coats, shoes, art work, decor items, greeting cards and books. There is also a downstairs section of kids furniture, with the most adorable tiny desk, books, and little girls dresses. There was a pair of little girls Mexican sandals, that I just wish I had a little girl in my life to get them for. This store is so beautifully styled, that alone is a masterpiece. There was one lady working, I'm not sure if she's the owner, she said I could try on anything I like. I looked at a pair of really fun earrings, but they were clip ons, and a bit too big for me, so I passed. This store is a pleasure to walk through, and maybe you'll find something to add to your wardrobe, at the very least it's nostalgic shopping trip. I'll for sure stop by when I'm in the area next.
